• the color chart "load" command does not in InDesign 2014 and 2015

  The "load the color chart" command in the Panel color chart does not in InDesign 2014 and 2015. Cannot click the Pantone or any other collection, they are all faded.  I have already trashed the Preferences folder and restarted ID and Mac. It started only once I have updated to the latest version of CC, but now it affects 2014 and 2015.  Don't know what to do, I don't like reinstalling one or the other.  Tried to go back to the CS6.  All solutions anyone?  Thank you!

• I downloaded InDesign and cannot load the color chart - they are greyed out.

  I've now loaded and uninstalled ID CC twice.

  I also reset my prefs in the cloud.

  The color chart is grey and when I go to load, it goes into a doc file and not the Adobe application folder. Photos below.

  I think you misunderstand load swatches command.

  .Acb files that appear dimmed are books of color and they are already installed. Instead of load swatches, use new shade of color, you can choose a book of color in the color Mode menu:

  Recently, I need a way to integrate work plans in sight and learned that I can do it using the app.executeMenuCommand("fitall") . When I searched through the scripts of PDF files, I found no mention of this method.

  Then I have been aware of this question [JS] CS6 + executeMenuCommand2. There are lists of commands and some links in the responses. I have visited the links and this CS6 AI "app.executeMenuCommand" was the most enlightening to know where and how to get these commands. So I followed what the author.

  1. Create a new document
     1. Profile: Print
     2. Size: letter
  2. Create a new action game
     1. Name it "My Set".
  3. Create a new Action within the new series
     1. Name it "adjust the work plan.
  4. Insert the menu item
     1. Select view-> Fit artboard in the window.
     2. Click OK
  5. Record the Actions file
     1. File name is 'My Set.aia'

  When I look at the file "My Set.aia", I see that there are 3 parameters. The first is the menu command. The second is the name of the command. I don't know what is the third. The parameter values are in hexadecimal. Once I have become "666974696e" in ASCII, I get "polarized", the chain of menu command "fit the artboard in Window.

  I tested with a few other commands, and it seems to work. Although I could not make it work to "fit in Window". Where to insert the menu in action item, select view-> Fit all in window does nothing. Type 'Fit all in window' and clicking on 'Find' also do not work.   Ok. It seems you are totally right.

  It is not possible to save this menu command in CS6 (64-bit) and not in CS6 (32 bit). Maybe a bug in this version of Illustrator.

  This script assumes that you have your one (and only one!) Book to the screen. It opens all documents in a book, removes the nuances and it closes.

  There has always been disagreements about what makes a "unused" shade, and I guess that it works the same as it does in the UI - it removes what is possible and leave the rest.

  I changed the color of the font of all menus in firefox to white (using userChrome.css) because I'm using a custom theme dark windows 7, where all the context menus are dark. The problem is that the menu of the Firefox button (in the menu that appears when you click on the orange button firefox) remains a brilliant white and blue, making it almost impossible to read the text in white.   Good one a few months ago I bought a HP Envy 14 laptop and I must say that I really liked it. Then a few days ago, I just bought a HP desktop computer (can tell you I'm a fan of HP) and I love it also.

  Here's my problem...

  On my desk, I decided to change her look, so I installed a custom theme (dark theme) and it changes the appearance of windows 7 and changed the color of the lower menu/taskbar of windows 7 in black and I really liked it. I decided to install this theme on my laptop and everything has changed except for the background color of menu/taskbar of windows 7 botom.   There must be a setting on windows 7 that prevents me to change the color of the lower menu/taskbar. Still worse firefox is horrible.   DragonFur, I want to thank you for your time and your answers, you should know that it meant a lot to me.

  After doing a lot of work and trial and error, I finally found a solution to this problem...

  I did a lot of googling and research and what I found is that there are many people out there who are owners of laptop HP Envy 14 who have trouble changing the color of their windows 7 start menu/taskbar or with the taskbar is not not transparent.

  Here are some of the things I tried.

  1 Installing different themse (did not work)

  2. Update driver for ati radeon 5650 graphics card (did not work)

  3 tried to adjust areo ensuring transparency has been activated (did not work)

  4. tried to bios update (did not work)

  5 tried to use a program to change the color of the bar tasks (did not work)

  What I ended up doing is creating a new user to the administrator and when I created this account is a program called "stardock mypaint" come asking me if I wanted to use this program to change the original theme for windows. When I said this software to change the original theme of windows 7, it changed my taskbar to the greyish appearance, it was the same off-white color I had on my account I tried to change. So I went back to my account and I searched for the program "stardock mypaint" and I have disabled this theme and then he changed my windows operating system 7 to an original blue theme but the taskbar was transparent! Then I went into my themes and changed the theme I wanted and my taskbar has changed color and transparency! Needless to say I was so happy.

  I really hope that this post will really help someone else who is trying to solve this problem...

  HP I really hope that maybe you guys can watch this program "Stardock MyPaint" which I think may be for HP Envy 14 laptop computers and allow users to know that the use of this program can affect other issues.

  Isn't funny how the solution to the problem is always the simplest answer...

  I knew there was something in the windows that kept my taskbar to be transparent and changing colors and it turns out it was a program of HP.

  Yet once I really hope this helps someone else out there and I'm hoping that HP employees this will read so maybe they can help each other if someone falls on this problem.
