the column data must be large to fit the whole space

Hi Experts ADF,

Jdev version 11.1.1.7.0

I have an af:table in which I have a column with outpuText. The content of the outputText can be more. I want to show all of the text in the column.

How do I do that? If I do columnStretching = this column also some texts are hid in the outputText.

Thanks in advance,

Roy

Hi here the fix.

noWrap = "false".

Thank you

  • Best practices for the handling of data for a large number of indicators

    I'm looking for suggestions or recommendations for how to better manage a user interface with a 'large' number of indicators. By big I mean enough to make schema-block big enough and ugly after that the processing of data for each indicator is added. Data must be 'unpacked' and then decoded, for example, Boolean, binary bit shifting fields, etc. The indicators are updated once / sec. I'm leanding towards a method that worked well for me before, that is, binding network shared variable for each indicator, then using several sub-vis to treat the particular piece of data, and write in the appropriate variables.

    I was curious what others have done in similar circumstances.

    Bill

    I highly recommend that you avoid references.  They are useful if you need to update the properties of an indicator (color, police visibility, etc.) or when you need to decide which indicator update when running, but are not a good general solution to write values of indicators.  Do the processing in a Subvi, but aggregate data in an output of cluster and then ungroup for display.  It is more efficient (writing references is slow) - and while that won't matter for a 1 Hz refresh rate, it is not always a good practice.  It takes about the same amount of space of block diagram to build an array of references as it does to ungroup data, so you're not saving space.  I know that I have the very categorical air about it; earlier in my career, I took over the maintenance of an application that makes excessive use of references, and it makes it very difficult to follow came data and how it got there.  (By the way, this application also maintained both a pile of references and a cluster of data, the idea being that you would update the front panel indicator through reference any time you changed the associated value in the data set, unfortunately often someone complete either one or another, leading to unexpected behavior.)

    I want to display the ToolTip on the column data.
    To this end, I work with the data format.
    under data format I use custom format.
    on the format of data, I wrote the following code.

    < b title = "This" about says month"> month < /b >

    but it demonstrated ToolTip on 'months' and not on real data.

    Is any HTML that display dynamic data, then we can put this code instead of 'months '.

    Please, give me suggestion.

    Did you add the ' @' in your HTML simbol? They must state the values in your column.

    You should have something like months @

    Hi Abhishek,

    We have found the root cause of the problem.

    The BPA was not all count start date mentioned in its terms. So put us as BPA created and ran the data collection and the execution plan.

    After that, we could see its BPA release created without any errors.

    You talk a LEFT OUTER JOIN, then:

    See the example below (the statement are just to reproduce the paintings, just use the last query):

    WITH xpq_log AS

    Hello

    I put DATE of BEGINNING of THE CONTRACT and END of CONTRACT fields on the form. These 2 objects (DateTime objjects), I pulled game tab of the palette and fell on my layout, fine design.

    Now, I try to put a validation than the end dat eshould not lower than the beginning, so I had a thread as below from Niall.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/1909551

    and I've done my coding FormCalc to the OUTPUT of the END DATE field as event title below,

    Please note that FormCalc
    End date must not less than the start date, else CLEAR-Begin

    var ACE
    var endDate

    As = xfa.resolveNode ("CUSTOMER..") RawValue Page31_Contracts.Con_Whole_Page.CON_Basic_Info.CON_START_DATE")
    endDate = xfa.resolveNode ("CUSTOMER. Page31_Contracts.Con_Whole_Page.CON_Basic_Info.CON_END_DATE") GLR awValue

    If (ACE > endDate) then
    xfa.host.messageBox ("end date is less than the departure date! End date is allowed")
    xfa.resolveNode (the "CUSTOMER". Page31_Contracts.Con_Whole_Page.CON_Basic_Info.CON_END_DATE") GLR awValue = null
    endif

    End date must not less than the start date, else CLEAR-end

    I tried to VALIDATE, calculate, change events of END DATE, but nothing works!

    Can pls. Let me Kow how I optimize my requirement? I'm anewbie,

    Thank you

    If you use the exit event, you will likely have the same code on the date fields beginning and end, because they have an addiction to each other. Maybe better try the validate end date event, so that if a field is changed the event is fired. You can try the following to validate the event

    // Pls. note this FormCalc
    // End date should not less than Start date, else CLEAR it - Begin

    var stDate
    var endDate

    stDate = CON_START_DATE.rawValue
    endDate = $.rawValue

    if ( HasValue(endDate) ) then
        if (stDate > endDate) then
            xfa.host.messageBox("End date is lower than Start date! End date is cleared")
            $.rawValue = null
        endif
    endif

    // End date should not less than Start date, else CLEAR it - End

  • 8 Windows media player says"files are too large to fit on a disk" when I try to burn a movie

    When I try to burn my files utorrent movies, some of them have been able to burn, others would show a red x next to the titles that says that the file is too large to fit on a disc. Is it possible to solve this problem, do the smaller files, etc?

    Hi Rick,

    1. What is the format of the file you want to burn?

    2. What is the size of the movie file?

    3. What is the storage capacity of the disk?

    4. you try to burn on a CD or a DVD?

    You cannot take more than 2 hours on a DVD FORMAT VIDEO unless you get a DVD double layer. If you burn a DATA DVD, make sure it's less than 4.3 GB for a single layer DVD and 8.5 GB for a double layer DVD. You can compress files, but the resolution will be less.

    You can also use your search engine preferred to find software or applications to compress large files.

    Yes, see the doc:

    If you use the default behavior, so your column data will be separated by XML tags.

    Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft Community. It seems that you are facing problem when burning a video disc. I will certainly help you to question.

    We start with two questions:

    1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?

    2. what application you use to burn the disc?

    3. What is the size of the video files?

    I missed you NVARCHAR2 column and thought it was VARCHAR2. When you declare the semantics of VARCHAR2 column length is specified explicitly or implicitly. Explicitly suffixing length with BYTE or CHAR and implicitly when you specify the length of the right itself. Then length is based on the value NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS session. So let's assume you generate table create statement (and it seems that you is, based on column_name |) » '|| DATA_TYPE | » ('|| ( data_length|') ' ). Then it does not matter if use use data_length or char_col_decl_length. It will be regadless semantics implied length of what you use. Therefore, when you run create table instructions column length will be interpreted as bytes if current NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS byte value. But same length is interpreted as the characters if current NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS a char value. As you can see, in order to generate create table statement we use explicit semantic length column, otherwise create table statement can produce lengths of different column in the source table.
