    Dear Sirs

Recently, I run the exe compiled from visual studio 2012.
The failure comes out the lack of Api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll that is detected by the dependency walker tool.
    Operating system is Win7 x 64.
I wonder where to find the missing dll or no solution for this problem.
(Only x 86 version Api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll can be found...)

    Sincerely appreciate your help!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As described in the question, I would say that you re - ask your question in the MSDN Visual Studio forum rather than on this forum. MSDN is watched by other professionals in computing and to developers who use Visual Studio, which would more than likely be able to help.

  • NEITHER 9481 relay are not locked when running the labview compiled exe on a computer with only installed labview execution?

I recently bought a cDAQ-9172 with several modules.  One of the modules is a NI 9481 relay module.  I created an application using Labview and built an exe file.  If I run the exe on the computer, it was developed on the relays work properly, that is, they remain locked up until their status is changed.  If I run the same exe on a computer with only the Labview runtime installed (no software installed), the pulse relay contacts and not locked.  I'm using Labview version 7.1 for my development and execution.  Everyone knows about this problem?

Ignore this announcement, the error stems from a difference between each computer ini-files and has nothing to do with the Labview Labview runtime vs, my bad developer.

I recently created a form to complete for the app e-business of the company. When you press the button submit, he only sent to our Inbox to project and not sent to the e-mail provided in the URL. Can someone help us to program the key to help explain why / tell us step by step what we should do?

OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

  • I bought the thing only app for illustrator, but the creative cloud thing keeps giving me the trial version?

AY yo I made a purchase plan only app to 200 per year and the darn creative cloud thing won't let me use the thing, I bought. It keeps giving me the trial version.

It won't let me sign up or the license of the thing for nothing.

The trial and the actual application are the same, they use your license.

    You have already subscribed.

Check the details of your account on Adobe.com to see if the active subscription will appear.

Sign in to creative cloud with the SAME Adobe ID (what is essential, since it is the only way for her).

If this still does ' t help, let us know what is happening, including error messages.

  • Updates to Lenovo appshop only with the option «install non-market apps»

When passing a request for update for the Lenovo appshop and start the update, I get the message, that appshop SW cannot be updaten with the option "install non-market apps" set. Is this a normal behavior?

A recent OTA update allows you to install applications of Lenovo App Shop without scoring the "Unknown Sources" option in the Applications tab (in the settings menu).

As a solution, I would say you allowing the installation of applications not merchants temporarily (by checking the settings-> Applications-> unknown Sources). However, my advice would be to install the missing updates. Each update has many improvements and worths install.

  • VISA does not not for the compiled application

I wrote an application that uses VISA, mainly GPIB resources.  in any case, my laptop has labview 8.5 installed on it.  When I run the app on my phone, it uses the GPIB fine, compiled or not compiled.  When I take the compiled application on my desktop which has run labVIEW files installed on it, the VISA resources are not even detected (nothing appears in the drop-down list control) in the application, but I can see them in MAX that is installed on the desktop computer.  Any suggestions?

    Brent

It seems that you have not included the VISA run-time when you generated the installation program. You have only included NOR-488 and MAX because the instruments are detected and MAX use visa when he performs an analysis of the instruments. You've created an installer didn't you?

  • Cannot limit the use of Minecraft in App Restrictions on parental controls

As most parents know, Minecraft is an app that is very popular with children. Unfortunately, parental control does not appear to offer a way to limit its use subject to restrictions of App.

The app of Minecraft is an executable file that we download mojang, from the developer's site. It runs on Java. So safe family, its use is in the activity tracking > PC activity > Apps and games such as "Java (TM) Platform SE binary."

However, when you look under App restrictions in parental controls, there is no "Java (TM) Platform SE binary."  And, of course, there is nothing for the minecraft.exe file either. He has a record of Java, but it contains only 'Configure Java.'

There is no obvious way to add apps to the list of restrictions of App. The apps are either there already, listed as "apps already installed on these devices that [the child] may use", or else they are not.  If a person consumes the child account on a specific device, the only option presented is to change parental control online settings.

(There is a post related here , but it deals with Windows 7 / 'parental control' and in the end, offers no help, apparently even for Windows 7)

This seems to be a major oversight and negligent by the developers of parental control. I am amazed that they are ignorant of the use by children of Minecraft, or that they are simply not competent enough to create a way to limit the use of the application.

If someone knows a way of parental control allows to limit of Minecraft, please let me know. Otherwise, I'll just assume that developers of parental controls are the boneheads is unresponsive.

    Hello

Please refer to the image below and click on the option last restriction Desktop App. It will give you a list of installed applications. Select the game of Minecraft in the list and check.

Let us know the status of the issue. We will help you further.

Follow the procedure below and check:

If you face any problem try CC Uninstaller:

Using creative cloud | Uninstall the creative cloud desktop application

After removing Adobe Creative Cloud applications, follow these steps:

    Step 1:

Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------\Adobe " common files".

    Step 2:

Type below command and press the enter"" key.

Then go to the Local > Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

    Step 4:

    (1) open Control Panel and then click on the network and Internet"" option.

    2) click on Internet options, click on the tab "connections".

    (3) in the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the LAN settings box.

    (4) check the box-"automatically detect settings" and then "uncheck" all the other boxes as "configuration Script auto use", "Use a proxy server," proxy server ", then click on the ok button."

    5) click on the "Network settings" button once again, make sure that "Automatically detect settings" is the only option you select, the window of properties of LAN so clear.

  • Connection request Adobe appears random, permanently prevents the use of PAC deployed apps.

We used the CCP in order to properly install the suite creative cloud over our 10.8.4 build image this year for our labs.  When it is deployed with Studio to deploy, on average 7 out of 10 computers work.  Other rare, when you attempt to launch any product Adobe (doesn't matter which) Adobe Application Manager will attempt to launch and the app will disappear from the dock.

On all the following launches of all the apps on this machine, the user is invited to an Adobe ID login page saying that our trial version will expire in 7 days.  Even if you do login, it will continue to the login prompt at each time, with the app never actually launch.  This seems to happen across all users on the computer.

The only solution I've seen is to recreate the image.  Even if it is semi failure.  All images are deployed through the same material so far, so I'm not sure that it's a hardware problem.

Many remember all the questions we had with JOHN.  Not happy.  I tried now with what happens when it fails with fseventer, but nothing helped.

As the fall semester is almost, I could certainly use some advice to what to do.

Thanks Karl that responded to the questionnaire.

Don't want to divert your LabOps son.  But I'll post my PDapp.log to see what can see Karl.

My PDapp.log found in C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp.  Imaging scenario, it's just that you have described.  We used Adobe CC package manager and has been a new installation of a suite of Adobe applications for our lab.  Simply run the setup.exe which has installed all the software. (After hearing, Dreamweaver, edge, effects, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, first)  Separately installed Acrobat Pro XI and was installed in first.

Regarding the "Creative Desktop Application Cloud" being deleted - don't know what it is.  Given that I created packages myself, I guess it's one of the options when creating packages?

Cut and pasted below.  It was after the launch of Adobe Photoshop CC (x 64).

    Thank you very much

    Ms. K

    Hello

    6. run the GUI Builder (that's what I ask ;) I forgot the name and the path bin, because it don't do it often)

Please refer to the same document referenced above, you will find the answer under the section "Section 3: Running the reports Builder"- rwbuilder.sh

So tell me again, what the 'bin' path where the exe of reports?

Source file env and question "cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin.

Again, it's in the same document, you will find the answer under the section ' Section 6: compilation of reports "- rwconverter.sh

  • Firefox.exe suddenly only 2 k (and IE 1 KB) & flagged up as a malware

January 13 (2015), I was surprised to find my anti-virus (Pure 3.0 at the time) Kaspersky software tracking upward of what follows as a malware (trojan):

    Firefox.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe HOUR: Trojan.WinLNK.StartPage.gena
    Iexplore.exe C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe TIME: Trojan.WinLNK.StartPage.gena
eBay Sidebar for Sidebar C:\Users\David\Desktop\eBay Firefox.lnk for Firefox.lnk HOUR: Trojan.WinLNK.StartPage.gena

I followed the instructions to the quarantine and re - start. No problem. After re-booting, I couldn't access Firefox and discovered that he had indeed been quarantined - with IE (which I use rarely) and eBay Sidebar for Firefox (which I have not used for a long time). On the restoration of these, they are still identified as malware. Further investigation revealed that firefox.exe was only 2 KB - and that is only 1 KB.

Kaspersky was advised to switch to total security, that I did and it has continued to identify the files as malware. Full virus controls, including safe mode, is not revealed. Run a suite of recommended anti-malware programs don't have pick up a limited number of bits and pieces (and I deleted) that Kaspersky has not, although my research on the net pointing everything be the kind of things that produce advertisements on browsers... not something that would erase or rename programs (I don't see bad ads though, perhaps because of my settings in Firefox Kaspersky and NoScript).

Kaspersky feels firefox.exe has been altered (on 2 k, it is certainly not right) - Although that corrupt is another question. All other files \Mozilla Firefox seem to be there, and I have no problem with other software or files on my PC (just those three). Again the same thing happened to IE at the same time. That is a hard drive failing very little likely indeed - but it makes me suspicious that there was * something * deliberately made that Kaspersky did not pick up. However, it would be unusual for decent antivirus software like Kaspersky miss something. In addition, the same question must occur widely around the same time, because if everyone around the world lost their browsers he would have made the news - not to mention advertising malware that corrupts the two browsers being rather doomed to failure!

Either way, the desktop shortcuts have been replaced by the Windows icon by default for programs that do not have a shortcut to measure. And by clicking on what was the shortcut of Firefox opens a DOS window, which closes immediately; IE does the same thing but a "16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem" error box appears (these are the days!) with:
    C:\Users\Public\Desktop\Internet client.lnk
NTVDM CPU has encountered an invalid statement.
CS: 123f IP:012d OP: 8f 9f af 6th ba choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
[By clicking on 'Close' or 'ignore' both close BACK - and that's it.] [No virus or something similar is picked up and four anti-malware programs, I am using now show that my system is clean.

    So my questions are:
    (1) any thoughts on what happened?
    (2) I need to get Firefox working again. Can I simply copy firefox.exe from another machine and replace the existing 2 k firefox.exe and everything should be good, as it was before... or it is not as simple as that? (I understand that Firefox keeps preferences, etc., in separate files).

Thanks in advance for your comments.

    Dave

    Sorry, you had this problem

It my be possible and work if you replace the firefox.exe problem

However that could cause problems and the solution would be to download and install Firefox again by an official site, and by using a pure install involving the removal of the existing program files. (Care to leave the files and folders from one Firefox profile. In fact, it would be interesting, as a precaution suspenders belts ; Locate and save first)

As to what happened, you gave a well-reasoned and intelligent summary, but after the event, it's going to is almost impossible to define. Sometimes the AV brand and/or & false positives especially temporarily if not totally updated.

    Clean reinstall it

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device!

  • Question for the geniuses of pictures only.

Question for the geniuses of pictures only.

You see, I started with iPhoto and later began to use Aperture.  With iPhoto and Aperture, you can have ALL the metadata below the thumbnails, (nice).  Well, I put all my images descriptions in the keywords section because it didn't really matter, because these programs could show them as thumbnails.

Now, I use this wonderful program of Photos and I found out that it will ONLY show the title of"the image in the thumbnails.  I've got on 30 000 images with keywords but no title.  I want to move / copy the text in the keywords section in the section of the title. I'm not a computer scientist, I guess that my skills are in average.  But I can follow directions.

    Suggestions appreciated.

  • Some General Questions of CVI - how does the compiler

    Hello

I work with CVI 9.1 for more then a year during this time i ' v noticed a couple things, I would like to help me to understand.

    1. Work with several C files:
    • When I'm writing a software that uses lets say C files and files of 10 H 10: Main.c Main.h File1.c File1.h Panels.h Panels.uir and so on... I'm implementation of the function in the c file and its deceleration of writing in the file h, i ' v noticed that sometimes I get msgs of the compiler on the conflicts, maybe there's a way I know not just for the CVI?
    • Works correctly with the file UIR for example lets take the files written above, if I have sign - HAND and control led1 and I want to do SetCtrlVal in the Main.c I can implement as this SetCtelVal(MAIN,MAIN_LED1,1); but when I go to file1.c and try to do it, I get the error message that main_led1 is not a control value (I included the Panels.h) this problem happens to me a lot is there a solution? or maybe I am doing something wrong...
    • What is the best way to implement bollean var (true false) for the software? is it possible to add this var always?
    • decelerations of incompatible type: allows you to take the Fmt function for example when I'm trying to use it in another file, I get the decelerations of incompatible type with the names of the files...
    • General question: lets say I want to include in my project and I want to use its features in main.c and file1.c, I included in two files? or there is a way to include it in a single file only?

    2. to access the buttons

    • lets say that I have buttons and I am pressing on it after pressing the button I have a loop for 10 min, I want to create a button give up, but I can't press anything because the keys are "locked out" is there a way besides multi threading to implement this?

Wow! A very broad set of issues!

    A quick response.

There is a basic error in your statement: the first (SetCtrlVal) parameter must be the handle Panel, which is the reference to the object in memory that is created when you call LoadPanel (). Using the name of constant sign is not correct: it may work if you're lucky and you have the Panel handle with the same value as the name of the constant, but this certainly isn't the correct way to address on a panel controls.

Even if I don't understand the error that you declare: I expect 'the control is not of the type expected by the function' or an error of inconsistent data type (like passing an int to double check) or...

Remember that each function that processes objects on a Panel must be aware of the handful of Panel, then either you pass to the function as a parameter, or store it in a global variable.

    • decelerations of incompatible type: allows you to take the Fmt function for example when I'm trying to use it in another file, I get the decelerations of incompatible type with the names of the files...

I normally leave CVI #including the necessary system files: when I use certain functions like Fmt in a source file and compile ICB warns me to add the relevant include file, and it does it correctly. Operating in this way I never had problems with formatting and the I/o library functions. You can rebuild the inclusion list by removing all #includes in yous source files and compilation of the project, this should correct errors

    • General question: lets say I want to include in my project and I want to use its features in main.c and file1.c, I included in two files? or there is a way to include it in a single file only?

You must include the file containing the definitions of the functions in all source files that use. Or you can create a general include file with all included in your project and include only this one in all of your source files

    • lets say that I have buttons and I am pressing on it after pressing the button I have a loop for 10 min, I want to create a button give up, but I can't press anything because the keys are "locked out" is there a way besides multi threading to implement this?

It is a general rule that animates the CVI environment: during the execution of a loop inside a function (a reminder of command or another function) the system does not handle the user interface events, so that your buttons appear locked. This can be solved by adding a call repeated (ProcessSystemEvents) inside the loop: this way of all UI events are monitored and managed by the system.

You must use this method with caution: before entering the loop, you must disable all the controls that can be used during operation (normally only the Quit button should stay active) otherwise, you can enter a situation in which other callbacks are executed during the loop that might interfere with it.

In such a case, do not put a reminder in the stop button and the use of a global variable I have normally create a toggle button Stop and manipulate it in this way:

    While (1) {}

    ....

    ProcessStemsEvents ();

    GetCtrlVal (panelHandle, PANEL_STOP, &stop);)

    If {(stop)

... gracefully out of the function

    break;

    }

    }

This argument has been discussed several times in the forums: do a search for ProcessSystemEvents returns a large number of discussions you can read

    • What is the best way to implement bollean var (true false) for the software? is it possible to add this var always?

CVI is not a native boolean value. I used to use an int and test weather it is zero or not

I do not understand what you describe: could you add some piece of code allowing to penetrate this situation and report exactly the message the compiler warns?

  • How can I prevent the WKUfind.exe that appear on my screen why I start my pc

How can I prevent the WKUfind.exe appearing on the screen when I miss my PC?

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows are you using?

2 have had any changes made to your computer before this problem?

Perform the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I recommend placing the computer in a clean boot and then check if the problem persists or not.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

You can also scan your computer the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hope this information is useful.
