  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  Once you have freshly generated the page layout you want

  1. Open your profile folder by typing about: support int the address bar (or help > troubleshooting information...)
  2. Click Open containing folder
  3. Use file > exit or "Firefox" button > Exit to exit Firefox (not the ' X' top-right that just closed the window)
  4. in your profile f older localstore.rdf select and copy ('Ctrl + C') then in short tights to make a copy, repeat the steps to create at least a copy, the original and the "localstore - Copy.rdf" and the "localstore - copy (2) RDF" will all be the same, about 4 KB to begin with. (not 18KO not 76 KB)
  5. Replace Firefox.

  Freshly generated means rename or delete the localstore.rdf original while Firefox is down, restart Firefox and customize your toolbars as you want.

  If you have a problem with a corrupt localstore.rdf put Firefox down and in your profile directory, delete or rename the localstore.rd then rename a copy of localstore.rdf

  If you want to try to roll back the clock I can describe a procedure to do this. In short, it would be to create a new folder of parameters (a new Firefox profile), deletion of the contents of this folder and copy the contents of your old data from Firefox on the desktop file.

  Does not take long, if you are interested, but then you have to troubleshoot why the old profile was slow. Here's how:

  Resucitating your profile before reset

  (1) create a new Firefox profile:

  (4) in a separate window, open the folder of old data from Firefox on your desktop. Copy all the data of this file in the profile folder 12 vacuum.

  (5) run Firefox. It is expected to launch in which looks exactly like your discount to zero prior configuration.

  Now on troubleshooting. If Firefox feels slow, I suggest starting with Safe Mode. It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

• Creation of the custom toolbar commands

  Hey everyone, I am trying to add custom commands to the toolbar, such as undo/redo/delete commands.  So far, I've extended the sharedwhiteboard and canvas, so added a class called RCGlowShapes that extends from WBCommandBase.  In my custom canvas, I added a function as well, which creates a new instance of the RCGlowShapes control and adds the command handler.

  My question is this: when I add a custom command to the toolbar like this:

• Add on tool bar appears, but add ons, and new custom toolbar only appears when the Customize window open - toolbar does not name in list of the toolbar?

  I used view = > toolbars = > and ticked all the toolbars that I want to appear. BUT add it to the toolbar appears blank (i.e. toolbar but no add ons). AND the new custom toolbar that I created is not yet listed in the toolbars available for check or not. The only way I can get to show upward (but no function) is by clicking the Customize button. The toolbar remains open as long as the window is customize, and I can add/remove/rearrange icons, but not use any of their functions (for example. I added a new button to the custom toolbar window, but when I click of course nothing happens, because another window - window customize - is still open). I need a way to lock the toolbar, so I can access buttons to use it please!

  In my opinion, which suggests that what you were actually doing was to customize the toolbar of the addons. Firefox is quite flexible and you can for example put the print icon on the toolbar of the modules or the bookmarks toolbar, and not only on a new designed user a custom toolbar.

  Many modules are designed by their developers do not make use of the toolbar of the add-on. Some add-ons appear on other menus. Collusion shows also in the Tools menu. Some use the page modules interface for results or settings.

  We have problems with the order of the custom section. Please find below bottom

  1. we have a custom code to print sections customized specification associated with the material specifications

  2 this custom code developed 2.5 years ago and absolutely perfect job

  3. this custom code actually built XML sections customized the associated specification which is transformed into PDF using XSLT by extending the print features.

  Recently, we changed the order custom sections appear in hardware specifications. Once the order gets modified with the help of Admin-> Data-> custom section order Custom. New order got reflected in all the technical features without any problem

  But the custom sections do not print in the same order

  When we studied, we found the following

  1. printing order is fine when using the default print template provided by oracle

  2. printing order is not very well when we use our custom print template that uses our custom code developed 2.5 years back

  When we have investigated further, we discovered that any new record is created once the order has changed to print very well in the same order using our custom code

  But the old specifications that were created before the implementation of the custom section control do not print in the same order

  Debug us the solution, with the old card and discovered that code is return data in the old order and not in the order indicated in the specification

  We tried all the properties we could and noting works as expected for the old specifications and new specifications get the order appropriate under the new defined order

  None of the sub properties get the data in the correct order in the old specifications

• How to remove a custom toolbar.

  Where are stored the definitions of the custom toolbar? I created one, but now want to permanently delete it.

  Everytime I open Firefox is activated and I have to disable in the view menu. My preferences are not stored. This has happened in the last update of Firefox. The upper area is also a nasty green color before it loads my custom background.

  No idea of what is happening and how I can fix?

  Either way, "assumptions" for this are all wrong. It shows my version 3.5.4 and my XP OS.

  You must remove all elements (including separators and elements of space) in a toolbar and have them drag in the toolbar palette to remove the toolbar, customize the window is closed.

  In the section "Navigation Toolbar" from the Builder App DPS, I see an option to hide the navigation toolbar, but then I can't have custom library/windows...

  There is a way, it's really really stupid UI.

  1. enable the custom toolbar

  2 customize the Library button to have your store/library custom HTML

  3 disable the custom toolbar

  When you build your application we will actually remember the settings of the custom library and use them even if the toolbar is disabled. Whoever designed it this way is a fool...

• How to get the position of a ring in a tree control?

  Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but how can we get the position of a ring within a tree control?  I have a tree with two columns, with rings in the second column.  I can set the position using SetTreeCellRingValueFromIndex(), but how do you get the position once the user has changed the control?  I found the functions GetTreeCellRingIndexFromValue() and GetTreeCellRingValueFromIndex(), but I have not found a way to get the Index or the value of the ring (I'm looking for is the index, but if I can get the value I can from there).  Thanks in advance!

  You can get the value of the cell in the tree of GetTreeCellAttribute (ATTR_LABEL_TEXT). Then, as you noted, you can use GetTreeCellRingIndexFromValue() to get the index.

• How can I add custom toolbar buttons to load the different TOCs?

  In my outings WebHelp, I want to have some custom buttons on the toolbar that when clicked load a table of specific contents in the left navigation pane. For example, when the user clicks the button on PC, the table of contents PC load in the left pane. When the user clicks the button on the virtual machine, TOC VM load in the left pane. All help files are managed in a single project and some files will appear in both tables of contents.

  I think that this should be possible, but do not know how to get there. Is it JavaScript that I should add to the element of custom toolbar to the table of contents of load on a click? How can I specify the table of contents I want to display for each button?

  BTW - I use RoboHelp 8 (version 8.0.2) to generate WebHelp output. Thank you in advance for your help!

  If you were to upgrade to RoboHelp 9 it would simplify your question. Version 9 offers a new feature called content dynamic (DUCC) user-centric and offers a nice little drop-down selector in the mini-bar of Navigation Tools.

  As you are in version 8, the only way I can understand you it would handle is by generating two different outputs. Each output would use his respective OCD. In each project toolbar button can be configured to open the other project.

  You could report first having to manage two exits and all files. But if you take part DUCC and the way in which it is set by Adobe, it works the same way. It's just hidden from your initial view.

• Question signs in the Finder toolbar

  I see signs of question in the Finder toolbar (instead of the icons, I guess).

  

  When I click on any sign, a system message appears: "the item is not found."

  What this means and what I can do to remove these signs of the toolbar?

  This means that something is in there pointing to a document or an application that is no longer there.

  To remove: hold down the command key and drag everyone out of the toolbar. Pouf! They went.

• iPhone 6 won't play the custom ring tone, lack of parts only

  My husband 6 (v9.2) IPhone has stopped playing its purchased, custom ringtone in the last week.  He is certainly on the personalized ring, we have turned on/turned off the phone twice, and yet he won't play, despite being put on the custom ring tone.  I've seen other similar messages, but no definitive answers.  Very annoying that he cannot hear his favorite ringtone that we paid a lot of money for.

  I have this problem as well. You appear to affect ringtones purchased after the 9.2 update. In my case, all my new ringtones Star Wars BB-8 go silent. A temporary solution is to connect your iPhone to iTunes and remove all ringtones and then re - sync. It should start working again. I noticed that when you restart your iPhone, the problem reappears and the steps above should be repeated.
