• Error in the REST Web Service with the text output Format

  Hi all
  
  I am referencing a REST web service and can successfully connect to it and retrieve the results with the output XML value Format.
  
  I don't need the node values, I want to just grab the entire XML string and fill a table with her column.
  
  When I create a new Rest web service reference, including the text output Format value and then create a form/report to run it, I get the following error when I click on "send":
  
  ORA-06550: line 1, column 63: PLS-00103: encountered the symbol "end-of-file" when expects it one of the following numbers: (- + new case mod not null to other current County avg exists max min prior sql stddev sum variance execute forall time timestamp interval date fusion pipe)
  Error sending request.
  
  There is control in the XML characters, but surely, this is handled by the Apex, so I'm not sure what the problem is here.

  Request Express waiting for answer text actually be answer text, delimited by other characters that denotes a new value and a new Recordset. You should leave the response as XML. The XML document will be stored in the column xmltype01 in the collection that you specify. You can then convert this column xmltype01 in a clob, if you like using the. toClobVal().

  However, when it is written to a file or the generated .txt imported what all the lines are broken

  Import the file into excel for example to help; as a separator will make this data is present in 4-5 lines instead of one.
  How can I fix? I put a maximum length of well above the value line when I do UTL_FILE. FOPEN so this isn't the problem.

  Can you post the UTL_FILE code that you use to open the file and write the data? You have opened the file in a hex editor to confirm unexpected line breaks exist in the file before you run the import process and that are not artifacts of all import process that you use? Did you DUMP had the VARCHAR2 variable data (500) to confirm that there are no line breaks in the data?

  The only way to create 09 files from Keynote 6.6.2 is to use file > export > Keynote 09

  I have a requirement to customize the iExpenses page.

  I need to generate a PDF output with the detailed expenditures report when the user clicks on submit button to create an expense report.

  I need to take this pdf file and attach it to the expense report itself (with attachments fnd)

  I have an idea about creating a BEEP report and call it from the OFA.

  Usually, we write the pdf to the outputstream and view the pdf in the browser / to the local machine.

  Can someone send me some code examples to capture this pdf file and write back to the database as a BLOB.

  You can do it in two phases. Get first the BI Publisher API part works so that it returns the PDF file in the browser. You can see how it is done here:

• Simultaneous report runs very slowly when the output format is 'XML' on IBM 6.1

  We have recently updated one of our test server database IBM AIX 5.3 to 6.1 operating system. We are witnessing a strange question in the execution time-out of simultaneous reports that have output in XML format (no server of publication and the Publisher). Whenever the output format is set to XML, the execution time seem to have increased very high than it used to be less than 5.3. A report to take 10 seconds which takes about 4 minutes to complete which is huge in comparison. Information about the version as below

  Oracle EBS 11.5.10

  Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 DB

  IBM AIX 6.1 OPERATING SYSTEM

  Oracle reports 6.0.8.28.0 (I know old enough)

  We have solved the problem. I would like to share for the benefit of the readers of the community, if they are facing similar problems.

  The reason for the slowness of the report was due to lack of installation of the 'VIEW' option that is used when XML reports. Reports whose outputs are in format PDF, XML, HTML etc, Post Script, they all need a virtual display makes setup and configuration properties of config pointing to this server whenever settings are do. It could be a windows machine with X-Server running on it for display purposes or it could be services that are running on the same server for Unix/Linux applications where the application runs. We have installed VNC as X-Server that hosts services for virual (X) output for display on UNIX itself and have configured it in the reports configuration file. It seems to have solved the problem and the reports are run as expected (must faster!)

  I currently have an application called "Apa Doanya' (id 33020976) for BB 7 and below. Now, I created another version of it for BB10. To publish this version BB10, I created a new application named also "Apa Doanya' (id 46317888), download the file bar, but not yet to introduce the new application for review. Later, I changed my mind, I want to release this BB10 version under the name of my current application so that I can keep the sides and the current download figures. So in my application, I added a new version, download the folder bar and increment the version 1.1.0. But I got an error when recording on step 5, he said:

  An error has occurred during the recording of output ' 1.1.0"to the database.

  I tried several times but no luck. What has caused this? Is - it because I already download the bar file to another application (id 46317888)? Just to be sure, I remove bar app 46317888 file and download a dummy cod file (so that the application can be saved). Then repeat the previous step (add a new version and so on) but I still have the same error.

  Yes, the problem is now RESOLVED. It was, I think, a bug/error on their part (support of the seller) so they erased the package id (I quote: "the package ID has been deleted.").

  Please note that you can open PDF files using only the CD player. Any other format will not be supported by the software.

  Since you are using Direct database application, you can use the database functions specific to your database such as to_date or to_char.
  Its as good as Toad or sql developer.

  Cambodia uses PAL and NTSC, so you will need more information. The format offers media may also be different from the broadcast signal. Once you know what you produce, Premiere Pro fortunately will convert your film - either at the point of export, or according to a preset of the sequence. It doesn't matter what is the codec of your camera recording. Ideally, you'll want to shoot at the same rate, and if it is guaranteed to be only a 4:3 output you would get 4:3 or use safety locks on your monitor 16:9 4:3, then you have some option to pan your shots in the frame. Even with SD vs HD - HD view taken is logical, even if the program is known to be SD, you get a lot of flexibility for pan and evolve into position.

  As has already been suggested, contact the person who provided the file to know what format it is. A necessary file extension does not indicate any particular format, especially when it comes to "dmp", "exp" etc. so many different applications can use them.

  We have a requirement to store the pdf files generated by several applications simultaneous xml editor in a database blob column, so that they can be recovered later, whenever required by the user. As far as we know, publisher concurrent request XML output files are stored on the node of simultaneous treatment and the location of the file does not exist in the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table. But these files to purge from time to time. We are therefore looking for a solution to store these files in the database to the display if necessary.

  Hi Mary,

  You must load the PDF files in the database. Write a regular competitor program which monitors fnd_concurrent_requests and load a custom table or fnd_lobs with any editor of BI exit function application concurrent reading files.   It solved using the IF ELSE block in the two frames, I'm back frame1 for the scenario IF count (G1) > 0 and return frame2 for another scenario.

  I am trying to install Photoshop CS6 on my new Mac.

  After asking 2%, I get the error message "Setup error CS6, inconsistency in the database of the installer."

  The file of summary shows error code fatal exit 15 and 0 errors/errors/warnings.

  I've seen the other threads in this forum with the same error and I tried the only suggestions here, but so far no luck.

  My Photoshop CS6 is a version downloaded from the Adobe Web page. Everything works fine until the installation begins.

  These are the actions that I have tried:

  1. restart and reinstall

  2 cleaning adobe tool (no result because there was nothing to clean up)

  3. I have disabled the software from my old computer

  4 tried to install it in safe mode

  5. I was contact Adobe support, did not get much support at all. After awhile, I was told to open a discussion in this forum.

  Please help... spent two days on this already.

  Finally... The problem is resolved.

  I contacted chat support and the person I spoke to connected to my computer and only could find a corrupt file that caused the whole issue.

  Once the file has been deleted, installation could be completed without any problems.
