• I want to move my itunes library from my old PC to my new Mac, but the files on the PC in the old file structure.  How can I do this?

  I'm afraid that if I followed the instructions here (How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support), it will mess up things on my Mac that the file structure is totally different.  Is there a way to first convert the structure of the files on the PC to match the structure of files on Mac?  I've updated the version of iTunes on the PC for 12.1.3 (who he says is the most recent).  I tried following the instructions here: iTunes: understanding iTunes Media organization - Apple support but it is not an "Upgrade to iTunes Media organization" option when I go to the library to organize on the PC.  All advice is appreciated.

• the "incorrect" file structure

  Hi all

  I am trying to add additional columns to my output data file, which captured initially given 3 - axis load cell. I would like to add data the local coordinates of the two stepper motors that carry the load cell. The idea is to capture the profile of movement as well as the acquisition of the force.

  There are two problems that I met, is one major and one minor. I'd appreciate it really is can someone give an idea of how address them.

  (1) the output file's strange structure, cell data are entered correctly, but coordinated captured engine in a strange way, there are some gaps between the record. I am attaching the file *.txt for example what happens. I feel that it is something to do with the frequency of acquisition vs. loop timing, but I'm not 100% sure.

  (2) it is rather aesthetic problem. Ideally, I would like to have control over when to start "depreciation" in a txt file. I thought that if I put a case structure within the main loop and tie a switch, I can achieve my goal. Apparently, it did not work as I want. When I start my program, it creates a .txt file, regardless if the switch is on or off, and then when I turn on the switch, it overwrites the previous file and creates a backup of the old file. Is it really possible to do in Labview? My officemate told what I want "breaks continuous data flow concept in Labview", so I'm a bit puzzled.

  I don't know what you mean by the phrase "damping data in a text file.  I'll assume you mean that the data in the text file logging.

  The reason why the switch is not working for you, is that you have an entry on the measure function go in the right and wrong of the case that the switch is connected to.

  The reason data gets overwritten and saved/renamed files because it is the way in which the parameters are in the express VI properties in the true and the false case.

  The reason why you get a large group of coordinated data of load cell with a single set of stepper motor is the amount of data that you collect at each iteration of the loop.  In each loop, you collect a single piece of data from the serial port with a parameter for each engine.  But as DAQmx, collect samples you of N N-channel where samples of N are all the data in the buffer.  If you are left with N lines of data points for one pair of data points in the serial port.  Try N channels 1 sample instead.

  What you want are rather simple patches, and I do not think that your desktop companion has a clue what he's talking about in what concerns data streams. Dataflow seems to be fine in your VI.

  I use SSH to move a file in a directory where I can edit it and then move on the back. Whenever I we the ls. command in the directory root, that Nothing is returned, so I don't see the potential directory to move it to. Can someone help me with the structure of files on a Readynas OS6 device?

  It is possible to have your assets anywhere where you want to store. In the latest version of Animate, the directory structure is as follows,

  

  where items such as media files, js files and images are organized in directories separated from the directory root. However, if you want to change, you can place your goods everywhere where you want and update the same path in _edge.js file in the root directory and the same who will appear on your project Animate. Similarly, you can specify the preferences of your publication publication settings and specify the path and the names. Let me know if you need some other info.

  When you unpack the project, the default is to create a new folder and put it all together because it is unlikely that the new computer will have the same file structure as the computer on which this project of.  If you want Multisim to create the same structure as the original file, you can click in the cell under "excerpt from path" and select the old path, if the folder does not exist, Multisim will create a.  Unfortunately, you will need to do this for each item on the table.

  The process depends on the exact version of the OS and the database source and target, which are unknown at this stage.

  The preferred credentials you set for the agent where you try deploy it, are the same identifying information for the user who owns this agent install? During the deployment, files that are placed on the agent receive the same permissions and owner as install other files on the agent.

• error-17500 when you use the version selector and the toolboxinstaller.exe file not found since the deployment of ts3.5

  Whenever I run the version selector to switch between ts4.2 and 3.5, it displays the error message above and gives also advice how to fix for a version of visual studio, I do not have (I am using 2003). As well as this when I start the deployment of TS3.5 engine I get error message with toolboxinstaller.exe system.io.filenotfound. I know that they are then tried to repair/reinstall nothing works, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

  The message below is similar to the message that you receive (note that this message relates to Visual Studio 2005, you could relate to Visual Studio 2003):

  

  This is a known issue with Version TestStand selector and was reported to R & D (#171620). The picker Version TestStand assumes that when Visual Studio is installed on the machine, that Visual C++ has also been installed. It tries to write in Visual C++ specific files that do not exist if Visual C++ is not installed.

  This error does not mean that something is not necessarily, it is more a message that the file cannot be written in successfully. You should be able to continue to launch TestStand successfully without problem.

  On the deployment utility, I suppose that the two issues are related, however, it would be much easier to say for certain that the error you receive won't cause problems if you post a screenshot of the error. You can do it.

• Change the structure of program based on the input file

  I have a program that takes parameters of an input file and then executes a Visual acquisition, using IMAQ, controlling some other hardware at the same time.  The duration of the various stages of this process control settings.

  There is a sequence stacked structure to control the playback of the input file, the initialization of the hardware, and then a while loop on the last image to actual purchase.

  The user of the program now wish to have several games acquisition in the same race, possibly with different time settings.  This would mean different iterations of the final loop, based on the parameters of the input file.  There could be 5 games of acquisition on occasion, 3 on another, etc., in a performance of the program.

  The structure VI already seems a little baroque, and I don't want to make it even more complicated.

  I would appreciate advice on how best to proceed, because I'm really a novice of LabView.

  If you use a "State Machine" architecture, you can do exactly that.

  Instead of having a structure of stacked sequence, it is essentially a case structure in a while loop.

  Each case represents a State.

  So in your case, you would have a State for:

  -reading the input file

  -initialization of hardware

  -data acquisition

  You can have the user controls the number of iterations of the State for the acquisition of data that you want to run.

• Restore failed image because of the message error "system cannot find the specified file (0 x 80070002). Is my file of the backup OK folder structure?

  I had to reinstall clean Windows 7 64-bit because of the failure of the RAID 1. I have a picture of my original installation system, but I can't restore it; everything I try, I get the message "system cannot find the specified file (0 x 80070002).  I work through a number of possible solutions, without success so far.

  According to the kb/951002 (that is for Vista but I can't find an alternative for Win 7) I made sure that the SYSTEM account has read permission for the backup folders and subfolders.  However, the file structure of the specified in the above article backup folder is different from my image file structure.  Specifically, article specified a structure of 'N.zip' file for the backup files but mine are a mixture of XML documents and VHD - i.e. no "zip" files Also, my GlobalCatalog file does not what kind of file, for example, it wouldn't ".wbcat" required file type specified in the article.

  The differences above could explain the inability to restore the image and if so, any ideas on what to do about it?

• Deployment of Java Application on air not to read the ALX file?

  I made a simple application in Java, using Blackberry JDE, I want to deploy OTA.

  I generated an ALX file using "Generate ALX file" in the menu "Project" Blackberry JDE after previously setting values in the properties for the project.  If I open my ALX file in Notepad, I can see my values in there.

  However, when I download my app (using a URL Pointant towards my.) JAD file on a web server), nothing of the ALX file appears in the download screen (version = 0,= seller,...).

  I found a post on this same forum indicating that I need to set values in the properties of the workspace instead.  I did... and it's working now, but I have access to change only the version number and the seller.  I don't have access to the application for title or the description of the application.

  On my web server, I copied the. JAD. JAR. COD and. ALX files.

  I would like to be able to specify a description of the application on the download screen, and see also the title of the app on the screen Options/Advanced Options/Applications.  At present, it seems that the file name of the. JAD file is used instead of the 'title' in the. ALX file.  When I go on my icon of the application, the title of the correct application appears.

  Am I missing something?

  Is there a way to do this?

  Only the JAD and cod use OTA Download.  The pot and the alx are not required.

  I would use the name/value pair in PersistentStore approach to do this, which saves the duty serialize into a stream of bytes output to write the file.

• Collect project without changing the file structure?

  Hi all, anyone know if there is a way to collect a project without overlapping of images in a folder (film)? I organize my pictures in a folder with the files to the appropriate subcategory, I work, but like to use collect in order to reduce my folder of images at the end, as often, I have tons of items to choose from that I, or items left behind by the previous revised project, in the end, States I always end up with a folder of images in a folder of images. (I know that I have worked with all my images to the same level as my project, but what a waste.) I don't work that way.)  How other to face this? Looks like there must be a simple way that I'm not aware of. Thank you for your comments!

  If you just want to clean up your ASP project so that only the images used in the project remains in the project Panel, then simply use the Reduce function. The collect function has no option to recreate the same folder structure you have in the AE project Panel.

  If you want to manage the content of your files by removing the assets then you must use the collect function and then find a way to reorganize the structure of your file on your hard drives. I only use the collect function when I say someone to work on a project that has been approved. If they have access to the original images I'll let worry about duplicates on their own system.

  For all of my clients, all assets (videos, photos, pictures, scripts, notes, project management, billing - everything to do with this customer) go into specific folders and the original documents and the revised documents are never deleted. I have a carefully designed project of numbering and system files I used for many years going back to my days of working with film. Basically I have folders arranged like this by job under each customer number so I can watch my logs of project or an invoice or an e-mail with the project included number and go directly to resources for this job years later.

Personally and I learned this the hard way, I have never intentionally remove any work product or communication that I used to create any work for any client, I just organize files in a way that puts all the work approved in the approved appropriate folder and that the customer has access to the work approved.
