The differences Multisite and Multiway conference

Hi all

Can you tell me what are the multi-site and multiway conferences? Also, what are the differences between these conferences?

Multi-site allows an end point to host a conference using a microcontroller embedded on the endpoint for a limited number of participants, usually not more than 3 depending on the type of endpoint and requires a key Multisite option on the endpoint, which is hosting the Conference, which allows you to use the embedded microcontroller and not every endpoint support the Multisite functionality.

Multiway allows you to climb a call to a call from point to point-to-multipoint call, endpoints and requires a VCS for climbing and MCU to host the Conference. You can learn more about Multiway of Multiway using Cisco TelePresence systems.

  • Clarity Dehaze v... What is the difference? And why?

I wonder what the difference is between clarity and Dehaze?

I understand that clarity increases the contrast of your environment, so DeHaze increase of shadow and light hi contrast?

In addition, curious to know why Dehaze is in the 'Effects' tab to develop, how clearly is in the tab 'Base'...? And why is the Dehaze in the program at all; is there a lot of cameras / lenses producing haze or certain types of flare that there is a demand to remove it?

    Thank you

    Alan.

Dehaze is different because, according to Adobe, "Dehaze technology is based on a physical model of the way the light is transmitted, and it tries to estimate the light that is lost due to absorption and diffusion through the atmosphere." So there's an element of analysis of scene sensitive to the content at a level that is beyond what is clarity.

It is probably not enough to describe tonal which varies Dehaze changes, because I think dehaze varies according to what it changes depending on if she thinks that an area is blurred or not. Dehaze will affect blur/background areas of non-brumeux/foreground areas, where the exposure/contrast/clarity would adjust overall image of the same amount.

In the tab made effects that Adobe recommends to get tab elementary also correct as possible (White Balance, in particular) before applying Dehaze. But also because it can create a mist if you use negative values.

  • What's the difference: students and teachers Edition

    Hello world

I hope someone can clarify this matter for me.  I think to buy Adobe AE, and I am qualified to purchase the student and Teacher Edition software (I have BOTH a teacher AND a student).  There seems to be so many choices, though: Design Standard, Design Premium and Production Premium.  There is also a Master Collection, but that one is too expensive for my budget, while that one leaves.  Are the editions for teachers and students the same as the editions that are not marketed for educators?

    Thanks for your help,

    Susan

If you need EI and you are not a Master Collection, your only option is to Production Premium. Just make sure to check if your computer's specifications are sufficient...

What is the difference between Mutipoint and Multiway video calls?

They are both multi-point calls, however, Multiway is a feature that you can activate with the correct infrastructure and MCU in place, which will allow the ends without a telepresence MCU Office and integrated JabberVideo customers of degenerate transparently a point-to-point call in a multipoint call on the relevant MCU.

  • the difference between 3i/4i and 10g doc

    Hi all

I am trying to achieve a doc of justification for 3i/4i towards improving the 10 g version of discoverer.
Came with a few differences between the versions, I would be grateful if someone could share some points that I'm missing. I mentioned the following links on the forum.

    Re: 10g Vs 4i

Difference of Discoverer 10g Discoverer 4i

    Thank you

    Hello
If you are looking for a document that describes what's new Discoverer 10 g has it please take a look on my downloads page: http://learndiscoverer.com/downloads/downloads.htm

There, you will find a file called DrakeFirstLook. It contains a PowerPoint presentation that I gave at the 2005 WORLD Conference that describes all the new features in Discoverer 10 g. In the book, you will find a description complete of new features as well as many screenshots that not only show the features in use, but allow you to have an idea of what the new product, will look like if you decide to use.

Moreover, this presentation was awarded the prize for the best presentation at the Conference (http://learndiscoverer.blogspot.com/2006/06/best-presentation-odtug-2005.html) so I know it has been well received and will be useful.

    Feel free to download it.

Furthermore, to follow up on what Russ said, this announcement on my blog lists the version numbers and patch for 3 and 4: http://learndiscoverer.blogspot.com/2006/09/releases-and-patch-numbers-september.html

It is not 100% up-to-date with new releases, but is valid for Discoverer 3, 4 and 9.

    Best wishes
    Michael

  • I bought Apple TV in India and I want to buy LED TV of the United States. It won't work or there is difference in the system PAL and NTSC?

MY SIMPLE QUESTION IS IF APPLE TV BOUGHT IN INDIA WILL WORK WITH THE OTHER TV BOUGHT US AND USING IT IN INDIA AS THERE IS DIFFERENCE IN OS PAL OR NTSC. OF COURSE THE DIFFERENCE IS THERE IN TENSION, BUT FOR THIS, WE CAN USE A TRANSFORMER.

You will probably need to change the plug but otherwise there is no difference, the Apple TV anywhere will work everywhere.

  • Difference between the departure station and the Genius playlist

I think I understand the difference, but it's still a bit vague for me. I can click with the right button on a song and select 'start the Station '. What I think he does is it takes the song and finds similar music music Apple (which I am a paid subscriber to). So I guess that similar to Spotify? Then, there is also list of Genius playlist, which after complaining that "Genius is not available for xxx...". Update? "and the update then generates a playlist of my music with similar songs.

    I understand the difference?

My understanding of the two, yes it's true!

Departure station is linked to the artist / song you are listening to in Apple's music library

Genius uses your music, which is linked to the artist / song you are listening to

Genius has been around since well before Apple music, why she uses your existing library to make a playlist.

  • What is the difference b/w Google search Mozilla Start Page and search bar?

It is not a priority, I want just a general answer.

I read that Google renew the license of the Google search bar on the Start Page of Mozilla Firefox, and it is where Mozilla makes 90% of its money, because it is a not-for-profit organization.

I want to know if I give Google a signal to make use of this licence renewal when I search from the Page start and not from the bar I research have.

Hi Marc, it won't make a difference if search you from the home page or the search bar - both use the same default search provider.
In addition, mozilla is more in partnership with google. For more details please see https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/11/19/promoting-choice-and-innovation-on-the-web/

  • What is the difference between the beta version of firefox and firefox?

Help me understand the difference between Mozilla firefox beta browser and Mozilla firefox browser

Firefox Beta, is what will release Firefox in 6 weeks (approximately). We are landing new features in beta until they landed in version for further testing and stabilization. It will be less stable than the version, so if you want stability, you use exit Firefox. If you want to see the new features faster, use Beta.

BTW, you need to update to windows 8.1, Windows 8 is no longer supported and has 8.1 increase performance and improve security, as well as a free update to Windows 10 in about a year

  • What is the difference between the cookies keep until I close firefox and the history of cookie empty closing firefox?

In the settings of Firefox 33.0 (I use Ubuntu 14.04, but the functionality is the same for Windows 7) there are two ways to delete cookies when firefox closes. Or at least, there seems to be.

Is first the cookies keep until firefox is closed

Second is to check the box for clear history of firefox closing and in the settings check cookies.

What is the difference between these two options?

I usually have two configuration but I noticed that a connection was not save for td canada trust EasyWeb, even though I have an exception set for it. Now I unchecked to remove cookies by disabling the history on close and connection records correctly.

This connection allows to save 7 cookes under easyweb.td.com and 10 cookies under td.com and I have exceptions defined for both. If I clear the history when closing and include cookies, half of the td.com cookies disappeared when I close firefox and re - open. The same is true if I'm not the exception.

So currently I can't find a way to keep all cookies if I clear the cookie history when firefox closes. What is the difference with this option?

When you change the default cookie 'to life' of "keep until: they expire" to "keep until the: I close Firefox", Firefox changes all persistent cookies that sites set session cookies. To allow a site to place a persistent cookie, you need to make an exception (site permission).

When you turn on the story to stop compensation and include cookies, running a completely separate process that doesn't doesn't pay attention to the duration of cookie or exceptions (permissions site). There just nukes all.

Note that some cookies could survive if they are encoded in the history file of your session of compensation at the stop, a Firefox uses to restore your tabs and windows from last session. I have not tested.
