The different between OBIEE and BI Publisher

Hello

1. What is the difference between OBIEE and BI Publisher? because I read the user guide and are not getting the point

2 and what decision of real time data for?

Thank you

Hello

Oracle BI Publisher is part of the Oracle BI Suite Enterprise Edition
Oracle BI Publisher separates the creation of the data and the process shaped for different uses.

Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite (OBIEE) is a unified architecture and full, open business intelligence system
for the company that provides reporting capabilities, but query ad hoc, and analysis, online analytical processing (OLAP), dashboards, and scorecards.

Destination main Oracle BI Publisher (IMHO) is so formatting of data (models, printable forms) for different uses.

Best,

Ark

  • Re: What is the different between the NB550D-109 and the NB550D - 10G?

    Hello guys. I need help on the NB550D. What is the different between the NB550D-109 and the NB550D - 10G? Is just the color?

    I checked the specifications and I find no difference. Both models have the same part number, so both belong to portable computers with the same hardware configuration. Thus, the difference can be color only.

    What I see is the 109 NB550D offered in more countries than NB550D - 10G.

  • the different between the default constructors and complete this builders

    I have in my grain I have two constractors

    this.firstName = firstName;
    this.lastName = lastName;

    Person person = new Person();
    person.setId (id);
    person.setFirstName (firstName);
    person.setLastName (lastName);

    If the daughter class extends the class parent, if I need to use great I can use the default constructors?

    A few notes to clarify the terminology first.

    I have in my grain I have two constractors

    Initially, I planned to ignore this harmless typo, but since you have repeated, we will the work point and move it ouf of the path: it's + constr.uctor +.

    the different between the default constructors and complete this builders

    There is no such thing as a "full" constructor There are builders, and a single class may have several of them, which are differentiated by their argument list.
    I assume you mean by "complete Builder" "constructor with arguments" (I dunno what is the official term for this, I'll try to find it in the specs, but that's a detail).

    Also note that the notion of "default constructor" is different from what you think:
    Citing the [url http://java.sun.com/docs/books/jls/third_edition/html/classes.html#16823] JLS:

    If a class contains no statement of constructor, a constructor that takes no default setting is automatically provided:
    (...) the default constructor takes no parameters and simply calls the constructor of the superclass without arguments.

    In your case (given the code provided), you mean "an explicitly declared constructor, which takes no arguments.

    the different between the default constructors and complete this builders

    In addition, there is no such thing as a manufacturer 'this '.
    There are builders, who are declared (or by default), and there is This syntax, which allows to invoke a constructor.
    Typical example:

    public class Price {
        /**
         * Creates a new price, with the specified amount and in the specified currency.
        */
        public Price(int amount, String currency) {
            this.amount = amount;
            this.currency = currency;
        }

        /**
         * Creates a new price, with the specified amount and in the default currency (US $).
        */
        public Price(int amount) {
            this (amount, "USD");
        }

        /**
         * Creates a new price, with a zero amount and in the default currency (US $).
        */
        public Price() {
            this(0);
        }
    }

    * If the daughter class extends the class parent, if I need to use great I can use the default constructors?

    If your question is "I can invoke any superclass constructor, including the default?", then the answer is almost Yes (it's 'Yes, you can call a constructor that is visible to the subclass' - visibility here is in terms of public/protected/package ).

    Example:

    public class Mafioso extends Person {
        public Mafioso(String firstName, String lastName) {
            super(firstName, "The Silencer"); // Mafiosi usually don't like being known by their actual last name
        }

        public Mafioso() {
            super();
        }
    }

    Note that you can call the constructor of the superclass No. - arg (see super() invocation above), as soon as such a no. - arg constructor exists and is visible, no matter if you explicitly declared, as in your person class, or is this a compiler-generated default constructor.

    I hope this helps. Kind regards

  • How can I fix the link between adobe and windows if I see .pdf not win32 application

    How can I fix the link between adobe and windows if I see .pdf not win32 application, without the disc?

    "Adobe" is the name of the company that provides a great many different applications.

    Adobe Reader is free and allows you to view pdf files.

    Adobe Acrobat is expensive and allows you to create, edit and view pdf files.

    Assuming that you are referring to the reader, uninstall all the versions of it using the control panel > add or remove programs.  Then either

    1. go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO and download the current version (remember to uncheck the box to install McAfee Security Scan Plus.

    or

    2. go to http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/ and download Foxit Reader, a small pdf reader and many more.

    Then, install the reader that you have downloaded.

  • What is the difference between Fdisk and Chkdsk programs?

    Hello:

    I don't think I have a common question of OS knowledge and I worked a lot with both, however for years so I forgot everything I used to know.  I was talking to someone Executibles MS-DOS command line and this person I know told me in email and I did not at the moment, but he said the following:

    "Fdisk and chkdsk are pretty much the same.

    Being an old Microsoft OS Engineer I knew it was wrong, however I've been retired since almost 20 years and I have not worked with either for a while.  I looked in the KB for articles explaining the difference between fdisk and chkdsk or define at least the two against each other, but there is no specific article I could find.  I remember the days when the scariest user had a problem, but they ran all third party software on their computer and have installed BETA version software etc so I'm sure you know the drill and this type of person.

    The person who said this about fdisk and chkdsk is one of those people.  It is a really nice guy, but a nightmare to Microsoft when you talk to a convenience store to the BONE for assistance.  Is there someone out there who could you, please, help me and summarize an irrefutable definition or description indicating the differences between fdisk and chkdisk?  I don't remember the basic functions both I widely used both, but too many years have passed and I don't want to sound like a fool trying to write about the differences.

    I'd appreciate any help I want to educate my friend and the intention is to not make this person feel like a stupid either.

    Thank you, and I expect your response.

    Eric

    The two are completely different, one is a format utility the other is a utility disk check

    What are the differences between RT and Win 8 Pro?

    Windows 8 - this runs on processors traditional x 86 - x 64 for Intel and AMD, and the same apps that runs on Windows 7, Vista, and Windows XP.

    Windows RT - built on the same basis as Windows 8, it works on a different processor called ARM and not running programs in Windows 7, Vista, or Windows XP. In addition, it comes with Microsoft Office 2013 while Windows 8 does not work. It only comes on the new devices, in contrast to Windows 8 you can buy a license for an existing computer.

  • PE2 - what is the difference between 'cut' and 'clear' in the current project?

    When removing items from the active project area, what is the difference between 'cut' and 'clear '?

    I think as 'delete' is an option sometimes, but I could not reproduce it.

    Cup should delete, but don't Clip in the Clipboard transfer, where just claire will remove completely - no transfer to the Clipboard.

    That can be tested by making a cut, then move the CTI (indicator of the current timeline) at the end of the timeline and press Ctrl + V (paste). This deleted item should appear after the ICT.

    Then, delete (or select a different Clip) the Clipboard and try Clear. It should not paste the Clip in the timeline.

    Good luck

  • What is the difference between readResourceContent and services ReadDocument...

    What is the difference between readResourceContent and services ReadDocument...

    Why if I create the file or folder write document\ create the directory, then it is not visible from the work bench...

    If I create the file using WriteDocument... It shows the created path

    / Apps/KI01/AF-was61-PP01/AppServer/Profiles/AF-node61-pp

    01-01/uploadfiles/test.PDF

    It is what... tell me differences...

    ReadResourceContent is used to read the documents in the repository of LiveCycle (the database LiveCycle).  ReadDocument is for reading binary files to the file system of the server (hard drive).

    If you create a file with write document\ create a directory it goes on the servers file system - its disk hard - and not in the repository of LiveCycle (the database).  Indeed, the repository may be hosted on a different server (in the case of a remote database).  If you write a file "/ apps/ki01/af-was61-pp01/AppServer/profiles/af-node61-pp01-01/uploadfiles/Test.pdf", then check the hard drive of the server, then you will see the files are there. If it is a control of the C: drive for this file Windows box.

    file system (hard drive)! = repository (database)

  • What is the difference between oracle and peoplesoft databases

    What is the difference between oracle and peoplesoft databases. How the tables of metadata between the two relate?

    According to my understanding, peoplesoft database exists as a schema on the oracle database.
    Please correct me if iam wrong.

    user4212454 wrote:
    ...
    The second statement, I realized that each schema created its specific use.
    for example, peoplesoft had 1000 objects (including the peopletools and application and system tables), each schema created above has access restrictions different on these database of 1000 objects. Am I wrong?

    Yes, each schema has its own purpose and the grant for objects of Peoplesoft. SYSADM is the owner of the objects of Peoplesoft with all rights. PS is the owner of one and same table, PSDBOWNER and the PEOPLE is granted to select three of these tables (PSOPRDEFN and PSACCESSPRFL PSDBOWNER).

    In addition, for DB2, what are the patterns of PeopleSoft?

    It is located in the installation documentation dedicated to the database you want to work on:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E15742_01/PSFT/HTML/docset.html

    The first statement, could you please elaborate on the part highlighted.

    A "Peoplesoft database" is nothing, it's terms to refer to a database containing everything you need to make a Peoplesoft application running.

  • What is the diff between replication and streams

    Hello
    Can someone tell me the difference between replication and Oracle streams, when I look in the documentation, it says to use the Console of EM Oracle to set up the Replication.But I'm not sure how, I download the EM Console of Oracle.

    Thanks to anyone who responds to this.

    Technically there is no relationship between the so-called "Advanced" replication and water courses. They were built by different development using totally different technologies teams. AR is materialized views and triggers... Watercourse is AQ, LogMiner and RMAN.
