  Well, the thing with the app store version is that apple doesn't allow developers to set things up to the update that anyway except through the app store (IE, a new version each time, which adobe probably doesn't care to do it just to update the acr).   It's for an older version, but you take the path even for the most recent. You can simply install the plug-in itself, if you don't mind not seen lens profiles, etc.

  Reset does not delete the preinstalled applications. There is no way to remove it.

• Why is the app store not update/download apps

  It has been more than a week.  I have 35 applications that need to be updates and new applications I want to achieve... downloaded and the app store is dead... just dead and useless.  I did research on the issue and none of the solutions I've scratched the work.  How Apple let this just drag?

  In addition, I feel like that has happened, my battery seems to be draining much faster than usual.  I can't help but speculate that something is happening in the background of this phone and it's associated software.

  If my version 9.2 is not the most recent, then my phone is not letting me check for later version software (an error pops up when checking for software updates in the settings... this small wheel just guard spinning that appears an error message).

  If this continues, I'll have to bring my phone and I am seriously considering to return to Android.  I'm frustrated to say the least... and is preparing to launch this gigantic brick of a phone off the Bay Bridge.  Help!

  Used an impressive icon of police of an aircraft (f-plane), but needed a helicopter, so have an Image of custom Application (png image) loaded as a static application file.  Unfortunately, it does not display at runtime.  (There have also as .ico, .jpg, and .gif).

  No, what you're missing, it's that the APEX 5.0 navigation menu item universal theme has none supported directly including pictures of work/application space by specifying them in the Class/Image property list entry. The menu is not rendered using the markup generated by the list of navigation menu. Instead, it is used as the data model, from the widget menu real tree. The list of standard navigation menu template includes not one img element refers to the value of property for Class/Image as an image source. There is no need to change the list template to do this, or using another model as the tree view transform has not approved the img (or any other attribute custom) elements in the generated tree.

• Adobe, your customer service to the DPS overflows with excruciating.

  Can you please help me understand why when I call your customer service about the pricing and digital publishing suite that not a single soul in this building knows something about products within the company they work.  It's absolutely ridiculous.

  Since the "new pricing" came into force... we were always having charged at the old rate. We tried to get this rectified with someone at Adobe, but of course you make it impossible to actually talk to someone in North America.

  We have an invoice number, an order number, number, customer number on contracts, to charge the number...

  all these numbers but still... no phone number to actually talk to someone to answer questions about the billing. It is even not a phone number on the invoice that you send me.

• Edge .oam file is not correctly displayed in the DPS.

  Here's the scenario.  I have an animation I created for an article of DPS (Digital Publishing Suite) but it does not display correctly and I can't understand why.  It displays is too large and goes past it's bounding box or it displays too little.

  Article DPS is set up for a 2048 x 1536 retina display.  The animation was created at 400px by 100px and saved on a file .oam must be deposited in Indesign to use in a DPS application.

  The problem is that when placed in Indesign placed animation does not display correctly.  If you change anything in Indesign in the "Folio overlays" Panel under "Web content" animation will play much too large and extend beyond the bounding (Image 2) box.  If you check the scale to fit in Indesign too small poster.

  My question here is that nobody knows if I'm missing a step on the edge of Adobe that may cause this or if you know why he would do this in Indesing would be great as well.

  I see not all the parameters of resolution on the edge and normally pixels are pixels and resolution is not important but it when the PPI is higher on the iPad.

  Animations do not work it's just sizing.
  

  The first image shows how it should look like at the end of the animation. "(the classic) is the animation part."

  The second image shows how it displays when it is set to no change in Indesign.

  The image below shows how it displays when placed in Indesign with the "content to Fit scale" checked in the "Folio overlays" Panel under "Web content", too small!

  It is a known problem with the creation for the retina in DPS, I met last year, when the retina is first released.

  If you try to save in pdf folios go png or jpg. But the best practice with DPS is at the 1024 x 768 folio woth beginning and create assets to a higher resolution.

  try to create the dps page 1024 x 768 see if she double size then, bet that's not :-(

  You will need to download Adobe Content Viewer on the App Store. Once download you it, open the application and connect with the supplied Adobe id. See you some folios, once the connection completed, those download.

• How to teach the DPS 2015 without Preview app?

  I taught a class during a few sessions with the Digital Publishing Suite, which allowed me to have students to test, demonstrate and share applications iPad with me through the content viewer.

  It seems clear from reading many posts here and elsewhere on the preview (and watch videos of development on the way), that the preview of applications is not possible without credentials and signature of the app. It's VERY heavy for a simple introduction project. Is it true that there is no way to interact with an application "published" without having a developer account (with Apple, since we would only use the iPad platform)?

  I found a program of institutional development for iOS developer for schools licenses, but to get this agreement would be with the entire University and apparently involve legal departments!

  I, and I imagine many other educators, emergency hope a tool, like the content viewer, experimentation, training, instruction, etc., without having to formally engage Apple, Google or Microsoft to pretend that we are actually application developers

  Roy as an educator, you have a few options:

  (1) continue to use "DPS Classic" with workflows based on Folio. We always support all aspects of the older environment.

  2) ask students to sign up for their own tests of 2015 DPS and all will have fully functional accounts for 30 days. With the application available to the public of preflight DPS (our new version of the content viewer), it is unnecessary to create a custom application to display a preview of the content.

  (3) have your Department tender hand to their Adobe representative to discuss the structure of prices for EDU.

  I have worked with a number of universities and colleges, and my advice to them is to continue to teach InDesign workflows for printing, but also educate them about HTML for Web and Mobile workflows. We try to create sur-rampes as much as possible to get the content in the platform.   Tools such as Adobe MUSE will become nice options for creating content fluid and responsive to DPS.

  If the DPS route does not work for your class consider looking creation files ePub ch-setting in page or using Adobe InDesign publishing online in 2015.

  Hi all, I've written a bean (called LabelAndEditField) that sets out a label and editfield as follows

  now I want to reuse this compenent such that I can have a screen that looks like

  However, when you add my components of LabelAndEditField, the 2nd does not appear

  I used a HorizontalFieldManager and make

  then I just on the screen

  As you can see for yourself, there is no place for the mktShare.  Try to go with FlowFieldManager and no HorizontalFieldManager as a container for your gadgets MyLabelAndEditField and see

  There is another possibility:

  The key in the code I provided is the super.layout (myWidth, maxHeight).  This myWidth tells your EditField its maximum size in pixels.  If you want to further restrict the domain, you have several options.  The only problem is - if you limit it too much, you will not be able to see the rest of the field.  To solve this, wrap your EditField (in which you now don't have to override the layout) in a HorizontalFieldManager (HORIZONTAL_SCROLL) (all this inside your MyLabelAndEditField) and limit the Manager rather than the field itself.  Then your customer will be able to scroll through the left field and right.

  In order to limit your HorizontalFieldManager, give him the width that you want in pixels (add that, as a parameter to the constructor of your MyLabelAndEditField) and substitute his sublayout like this:

  As web design is concerned, there no difference in the design of the image on one retina screen, another that they can appear a little less sharp compared to a standard screen. You really just need to focus on the pixel dimensions.
