The effects used on the button image image have less effect... ?

I was curious to know if anyone has come across this problem, or if I was doing something to create this problem.

I created buttons on a Web site, using a picture frame and importing States. I then wanted to overlay of the effects on the State of the button. I found when I tried to do, they seemed to be nonexistent or minimal, and therefore I their crank up to a level very high, resulting in the first image below Design view.

This shows the levels of effects.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why the effects are applied to a smaller ratio where they need to be greatly increased to have the desired effect.

Comment useful for something I can do wrong/if this has happened to you is welcome.

Thank you

What do you mean by "using a picture frame and the importing States."?

You can simply create the text inside the muse, create some padding, fill the box with a color and then apply the effect throuht the section of.

    Hello

    Even if the point of things based Web links buttons created using them is of simple images. Captivate uses simple images. If you need to put your creative hat and not to let the fact that you see the word 'web' scared you somehow. An image is an image. Use on the web, use Captivate. Same case!

    If you change the properties of the button, you can activate the legend of success. Fix any sound that you like with the legend of success and it will play when you click the button. If you do not want to see the legend of success, delete the text and configure it as transparent.

    How can I get my mouse to grab things without having to click on the buttons, if I have the touch mouse on my laptop?

    You will need to go to the control panel > hardware and sound > mouse and see if the settings for the mouse pad have a function called "Tap-to-click" or something similar in the description.  The exact name of this feature differs depending on the manufacturer of the software for the mouse.

    If you do not see this option to be available, you will have to probably go to the support site for the manufacturer of your PC and download the latest drivers for your model computer mouse pad and install.  Once installed, go back to the mouse settings in the Control Panel, where you will most likely available additional settings after the driver installed.  I hope that the "Tap-to-click" function will be available to turn on or off.

    Hi all

    I did this three times and give up.  Here is the link http://pooledesignstudio.com/wendysawesomeart/

    I used the common Image rollover on the toolbar icon and created my navigation bar.

    When I try to post I get a 24 error and they are in the code that generates the DW to get the switchout reversal. I have no idea how to solve this problem.

    The simplest solution is to change the DOCTYPE.

    You use a transitional DOCTYPE XHTML.

    http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.DTD">

    If replace you it with a HTML5 DOCTYPE

    you will eliminate most of these 'mistakes '.

  • change the transparency of the button image

    I'm creating a button symbol and if I double click on the key symbol (an imported picture) I can not get the property page that allows me to change the transparency to up or down... I'm new on this and am stuck at page 194 in "classroom in a book"...

    Make sure that your imported graphic is a symbol itself first...

    1 import image
    2 convert a symbol (symbol)
    3. create a new button
    4. use of the graphic symbol for the States of the button (high, low).

    It should work. You will be able to set the 'alpha' on the graphic symbol.

    I have a Captivate 7 file that contains the custom button images.  How to save a copy of any of these images?  I can't find it in the library or on my local hard drive.  Thank you

    Just thought of this.

    Generate a HTML 5 output and you should be able to find the images in the output.

    After update to version 10.0.1, the button new tab, which sits to the right of the last tab, disappeared. I now have to do CTRL + T instead. How can I get that back?

    You can find the button new tab showing as a '+' on the tab bar.

    You can open the window customize and drag the button new tab that indicates that a sign plus bar tabs on another toolbar and it will become a regular tools like the new button bar button tab you have in versions of Firefox 3.

    If you can not find the new button tab then click the button 'Restore Default Set' in the window customize.

  • Who is responsible for the boot image HAVE?

    ... this Image is really something very different from Venus of Botticelli (which I really liked a lot) in the good old days of Adobe.

    You can see the name of the artist on all splash screens, but also on the "about page". Here's the top of the Illustrator CC 2015 page 'a way':

    can anyone provide a link to insert the image with the text on the button in the apex 4.2.6

    ReemaPuri wrote:

    As a button? Seriously?

    Ok. First of all, because the image already contains text, there no point in including the same wording in the form of text on the button. Accessibility requirements can be met using re-sign as alternative text. 4.2, create an image button:

    Tag/Alt text: Re-sign

    Static ID: re - sign

    Style button: Image

    Button Image: & WORKSPACE_IMAGES.resign.jpeg

    To make the image looks more like a button, add the following CSS to Inline CSS property page:

    #re-sign img {
      margin: 0 2px 2px 0;
      border: 2px outset;
      border-radius: 4px;
    }
    #re-sign img:active {
      margin: 2px 0 0 2px;
      border: 2px inset;
      border-radius: 4px;
    }

    Finally, there is a bug in 4.2 that generates the incorrect URL for the button images, which requires dynamic action of Page Load to fix.

    Event: Loading the page

    Action: Run the JavaScript Code

    Code

    var resignImg = $("#re-sign img");
    resignImg.attr("src", resignImg.attr("src").replace("/i/", ""));

  • Captivate 7 change the smart shape on score button image?

    I know that Captivate 6 does not support changing the image of the smart shape to the overview button.  Captivate 7 does it take?

    I forgot to test this on my trial prior to its expiration.

    To build on the response to Lilybiri, I think that my desire for buttons have three States (high, low) is driven by what I see in other applications on the web apps and installed locally.  All the buttons tend to have three States.

    It would be very happy to be able to customize these three States, just as we can with the current buttons.

  • Change the text of the button skin RH7

    Hello! I use HR HTML 7.0.

    I am creating bilingual online help (English and French) and wonder how I can change the text of the navigation buttons (contents, search, etc.) in the skin. All I could do is add text next to the buttons but not change the names of the buttons themselves.

    Are the images of buttons that need to be changed?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

    As you can see, the skin allows a combination of text and images for the buttons. Indeed, many skins than the text that is part of the button image. In this case, you must use an image editor or creator of buttons utility to change the text that is part of the button image.

  • the & quot; Hit & quot; framework of the buttons

    I have a small question on the "Hit" frame on the buttons.

    I have a set of images that are images of different countries (Brazil, Argentina, etc.). I converted each image in a button, I want the user to be able to click on the country, and then this country specific information will be displayed on the right side of the flash stage.

    My dilemma: definition of the clickable area for each image. By default, Flash sets the clickable area to be the entire image (including blank spaces). I don't want this.

    I already know that I can edit each symbol and create a keyframe on frame 'Hit', and then I can draw many beautiful forms who will become the clickable area for this button, but this isn't what I want.

    Beautiful small beautiful forms of drawing not exactly embody the shape of each nation. I would like the clickable area of each button to be exactly described by the contour of each nation in the image.

    In other words, if the button is an image of the Brazil, I want all of the Brazil to be clickable, not less and not more. No space should be clickable, but no part of the Brazil should be left out.

    If I just drew shapes unattractive... they would certainly either too much or not enough coverage of the image. With the help of the tool Lasso would give me a better accuracy than drawing forms, but using the Lasso tool to expose a hundred - nations is extremely painful and slow.

    There must be a simpler way to accomlish this. So, how can I accomplish this?

    Initially, I tried this: I decided to go into Photoshop and make the background image (all that white space) transparent. It did not work. Flash care what part of the image has been declared as transparent and what part has been declared as being opaque. The whole image was still considered "clickable", the same space.

    So... once again... How can I accomplish this? Any ideas?

    > There must be a simpler way to accomlish this. So how could I
    > accomplish this?

    There is no way, if you want it to be accurate, you contours by hand.
    This is how we do it, each button unique hand :)

    > Initially, I tried this: I decided to go into Photoshop and do it
    > background image (all that white space) transparent. It did not work.

    That's because even though even there is no color, the shape of the image still remains
    rectangular.

    > Flash did not care what part of the image has been declared as transparent and
    > what part has been declared as being opaque. The whole image is still considered
    > "clickable", even whitespace.

    What you could do (if the image is the vector as - limited colors) he try to trace
    It is in flash. Flash has the function tracing raster images into vectors.
    Tho, not always produce great results, for some images it is heaven sent.
    By converting to vector you could more easily delete unwanted parts and keep just
    the shape (color group) which retrace your CLICKED image.
    If the plan is however a photo, they you will have more a chance to do it manually by hand.
    I have to zoom IN normally allow and just use the Brush tool draw.

    to draw the image, select your bitmap image, go to edit - Bitmap - Trace Bitmap
