  It is not possible to edit stamps as soon as they are applied. You can add fields for the stamp and then prompts the user to enter their values just before the buffer is applied, but not thereafter. It is a very complex, however. Search these forums for "dynamic stamps" for more information.

• How to isolate the fields that can be changed?

  I hope someone can help with my problem, I have not dealt with Java Script before please bare with me as I try to explain.  I tried searching everywhere for the answer but am getting lost a bit in some answers just so I was wondering if anyone on the forum can help.

  I am trying to create a reliable PDF form for a risk assessment. The user in the columns of the severity and probability input values and the value is generated automatically in the column risk classification. So I managed to get the number of risk rating to calculate automatically using the option calculate and select the value is the product of "Severity1", Likelihood1  It's great, so now I want to the field of evaluation may change the background color based on the value as follows:

  1-5 = Green

  6-10 = orange

  11-25 = Red

  I don't have any idea if this can be done via the Java Script or if it is not possible, I'm sure it will, but I need someone much smarter than me to guide me on how to do it. I guess it's the same concept as the conditional formatting in Excel.

  This is something like what I'm trying to achieve.

  My idea is to save all the changes to an existing record in a new table, but I have some difficulty to find the best way to do it.
  
  I thought of it this way: once the user change the record and submit the form, ONLY changed fields will be saved in the new table of history. The fields which have no change will be ignored.
  
  My problem is: how to identify modified fields? Maybe create a function that will compare all the fields, one by one, with the existing and detect changed him, but doesn't look like a very effective way.
  
  Does anyone have a better solution? Someone has already done something like this?

• Installed build 5.1.0a vcenter number has not changed

  ISO, I improved 5.1.0 to 5.1.0a Vcenter.  Simple installation wouldn't work so I installed all the separately from the components.  Upgrade went to and I rebooted.  Now, when I check the build number in Vsphere client it says still 5.1.0 build 880146.

  So I try to install it again, but now I get that remove\uninstall options.  The build number is the problem?  Anyone can check their version number after installing 5.1.0a?  It should be 880471.

  We did an upgrade on place of 5.1.0 to 5.1.0.a. The build number does not change when you click on "Help-> About" (we also 5.1.0 880146) but if you look in install logs and you will see that the versions of the files have changed even if the build number property does not have the versions of files.

  So it seems that it has been upgraded successfully, but they just don't update the build number of vCenter property. Other indicators of success, it's that if you surf to the VirtualCenter new and download the vSphere client, it will install the files for a new client with the 860230 build number.

  I want a field that usually has only 2 decimal places, to have 4 decimal positions ONLY when necessary.

  Example: If the value of the field is 3.53 that's fine, but if the value is 3,5346 I want to show him this.

  I just threw together quickly and did not test, take is as a general guide. It is intended to be placed in a JavaScript to the document level and called from custom Format script of the field. You can not put it simply everything as the script to Format because of the way that Acrobat behaves when you do.

  The point of the script is to calculate the number to use as the first parameter to the AFNumberFormant function, which is that Acrobat uses when configuring a digital format. I couldn't think of a clever name for the function, so I leave it to you:
