  This is because this same image, same time date and time of the device, is already in the catalog using a different file name.

  Conversely having not happening again is to STOP Renaming files on import or manually in the file manager or with another image, software.

  Each camera has a system that can be customized if necessary if you have 2 cameras of the same brand and model of separate file naming. And even then, they are separated by the serial number of each camera.

  I got LR4 running on a laptop computer and an external hard drive to store my images. I bought an imac and upgraded to 5. I also bought a new large external hard drive and copied all my images on the new drive.

  I created a new catalog and began importing images and everything was fine. Then I wanted to work on an old image and couldn't find it so plugged the old hard drive and there's DNG format.

  Now, I'm back on the mac, and most of my catalog went gray. I and exclamation mark in the corner! the nail of the thumb. It says it cannot locate the file. If I found the file nothing happens, so I try once Mithraeum locating in exactly in the same place and this time it says the file is associated with another photo in the catalog?

  My a few catalogs are a mess, I know. I don't really understand the whole import/DNG/catalog file, storage system. So I watched a tutorial on a combination of catalogs I want just one master, used on my mac, stored on my drive. So, I created a master and used catalog "import from another catalog. I've lived and all imported, so all of my images are in the new catalogue, but most of the images is still grey!

  I used the thought of plugin of duplicates which could clean it upward, but no, still the same.

  I worked on that a lot of my DNG files are on my old drive in a TEMP folder. I have to sort, move them to my new hardrive and bind them to the images? In addition, to solve the problem together "associated with another photo in the catalog.

  Then I can remove the old catalogs (such as a backup has been configured on an another new disc!) and I'm all clean and go back to sleep!

  Any help will be much appreciated and I hope to end my life of youtube tutorials!

  I suggest you to perform the system restore to a date and time before the Broderbund Print Shop program has been installed.

  You can reinstall Broderbund Print Shop and try to install using a custom installation if this option is available. So if the option is presented to choose which extensions are associated with you can uncheck the .cer association.

  I tried system restore three times and all three of them didn't work, I get an error message after the restore has been saying that there is an error during the restoration that has not left my files be returned in original condition here. I really need help with that.

  I bought my wife a pocket of Sony E-Reader for Christmas, I also bought an ebook of waterstones. I sent him the .ascm file it has received and immediately opened on his cell phone, he opened with Adobe Digital Editions and was able to see and read the ebook (I guess it was an annonymous account).

  To transfer the newly bought for my wifes reader book, I created an Adobe ID and then allowed his PC to this account. The E-Reader appears on ADE but I'm unable to copy into the e-reader. He says that the ebook is associated with a different user account.

  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem and why it appeared in the first place?

  You will need to work with their technical support to get a new download link of the file/.acsm which has not yet been associated with a particular user.

  One you have has a transaction ID that is associated, which has already been used to create a license for a different user (E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER).  In this case, the other user is enabling anonymous original who marries you orginally was on the computer.

  I tried searching for this problem and found people with the same problem, but no solution.

  I have a computer which has XP SP3 and Creative Suite 3.  At the beginning that I couldn't have the indd files to associate with indesign, types of files, it would allow me to select the indesign.exe, I hit ok, but then nothing is changed.  Finally, thanks to the deletion and recreation manual, I have related to indesign indd files, but now, it opens that indesign, it does not open the file.  It's like I'm just opening indesign.  (BTW - to get the association I have created a new association and simply don't have c:\...\indesign.exe, so that's probably why it only opens the program and not the file)

  Everyone can see how to solve this problem?

  OK, I finally found the answer courtesy of Automation vRA (vCAC) using vRO - Split Brain :

  «Each element of the catalog has an attribute of providerBinding.» This package contains the bindingId value. This link ID is the ID of the master plan (virtualMachineTemplateID) of the part of IaaS. That's how vRA figures on what course of action to deploy when you request a catalogue point. »

  So, given an vCACCAFECatalogItem object, I can get the ID of associated like this blueprint:

  I have Photoshop Elements, have updated through 11 and I'll get 12 soon.  My Photoshop.com library has moved on, and I do not see that all tags have remained with the photos, or maybe I don't know how to get a PC so I use web access.  My photos on my PC have all the tags, if I go to 12 and synchronization of resumes, it will destroy the tags on my photos on my computer?  Also, as a lot of pictures on the computer are already at Revel, until they stopped sync with 11, Revel will recognize that they are duplicates and not double my library?

  It is very easy in fact. Just deselect "Vectors" in your search. Which will remove all the .ai files. The rest you can use without any Adobe applications at all.

  

  And to be sure, every detail of the image indicates the type of file. If she says .ai/.eps you probably don't want to.

• with smart Photo 7520 booklet printing problems

  I have Windows 8 & just bought HP Photosmart 7520. I'm having a lot of problems with printing as a booklet.

  On the hand print Page , I chose "landscape", 1 page per sheet, & left binding. Also define the subset of booklet for "both parties".  I put the size of the paper to "Adjust the actual size" (in fact the paper size does not seem to matter). I make sure that the 'booklet' is highlighted too.

  This is where things get hairy: my impressions are turned upside down when printing on both sides.

  1. I checked under the section 'Properties' that will 'Layout' & have tried to "Flip on short edge" without control "auto rotation" on the main print page
  2. I tried the same thing as above but in «back long edges»
  3. I check 'auto' turn on home page, & he checked "Flip on short edge" under properties
  4. I repeated #3 & checked "Flip on long edge" under properties

  Is there something else I can do?  I'm so frustrated! (By the way, I had to go through trial & error with my first HP all-in-one, too - my 5510, but with different options of your choice) Why is it so complicated?

  I did #1 & #2 as you said under Properties / page layout; "" but I discovered this: - in the page size, - DO NOT hit "booklet" under the section layout (do in the main print section.) Page per sheet must be marked as "1" (booklet will make 2 pgs appear side by side on the half of a complete pg) also, I discovered "Flip on Long Edge" worked.

  Then on the main print section I continued to keep the subset as "both sides", linking as a 'left', & Yes, portrait orientation was right (Bravo!).  I have NOT checked "auto rotation"I put the size of the page 'clean'. "  I clicked on the icon of the libretto, then to print the value * (see the tip below)

  It took 2 tries to do things.  Which is weird, it's print preview showed two of them looking for the same thing, but as I said, the 2nd try worked.  Yay! I hope this will help many others.

  * Another tip: on the homepage print where the section named the pages you print, type the words "Page" next to the number.  I typed in "Page 1 - Page 4" & I got a good sampling of the entire brochure & how it would print.
