• Unlock the file and folder attribute does not work in LV 2012

  I use unlock attribute to unlock a file (defined in the specification to build installer-> settings of the Source file-> file and folder attributes). This Setup program installs the application in Program Files (Win7 x 64) and when the application is started it creates a file in the folder "unlocked". I've used it several times with LV 2011, but it does not work with LV 2012 (the folder is not unlocked)? An example for LV 2012 (without installation) is fixed, the same example works if I build with LV 2011.

  CMD-SHIFT-g is quite a search function. It allows you to enter the path of the folder you want to open. What you think "seeks" the current folder is really thin path. If you enter no previous path information, it looks in the current working directory to the folder name you typed in the dialog box.

  You can set the default search starting location in Finder preferences. I have mine for current folder. Looks like you might prefer "search this Mac".

  

  Typing in the search field in the Finder will search the contents and filename. It will offer to search for chips to match types he concludes.

• The fastest way to the files and folder to move

  I'm moving a lot of files to another drive and it takes a long time.   I do travel in the LR library now and an alternative is to move outside of the LR and use the catalog import option to add (don't know if it's a more quickly).

  You can select multiple folders in the LR library to move to the same location or do you need to do one at a time? This would be onen advantage to do outside of LR.

  You cannot move several files in Lightroom.

  The fastest way is to move your "Pictures" folder all OS, then re - link in Lightroom by right-clicking and choosing 'find the missing folder '.

  If you need to move several subfolders selectively, then there is no quick way. You move quickly in the BONES and then go rebinding in Lightroom or move them slowly one by one in Lightroom.

  If the hard disk is damaged, you may not be able to copy all your data.

  I suggest you contact experts in data recovery to recover the rest of it.

Since 2004 we use RoboInfo with RoboEngine, and during this time, I know that I crowded my Local disk with the files and folders trying to experiment with RoboInfo or by renaming the main project to test something. As of February 8, 2008, we were using RoboInfo 5 Pro with RoboEngine 4.0 and I upgraded to RoboHelp HTML V7 using WebHelp Pro to publish on our web site, February 11, 2008. I would like at this time to get rid of all the files and folder unused.

  Take a look at RoboHelp help on "project files" and "output files".

  The first has a list of files that HR uses for housekeeping, coordination of the style sheets, links, skins and so on. If you have deleted one of them, and RoboHelp has not generated new, try extracting your initial project in the zip backup.

  If this solves the problem, I think that GEWB will recommend removal and reconstruction of one or more of the administrative files.

  Welcome to the Microsoft community forum. Let me help you with your concern.

  The security settings for the my document and other folders in the library will have complete control and the tick mark you are talking about will be by default on all Windows 7 computers. Some folders inside of it will be in read-only by default. You can remove by box to uncheck Read-only in the properties of the folder.

  Try to open an administrator command prompt. Then cd to the desktop. Finally, run 'attrib-h - r s' and also ' attrib s h - r/s -*.» * ». Then right-click on the folder and check the button unblock. Similarly, with all the files in the folder, pledge. Never underestimate your own stupidity.

  Unfortunately there is no such feature which keeps track of the information of deleted files. However, you can check the trash on the network to see if the deleted file's still in there.

• Big problem with the files and Settings Transfer Wizard.

  Basically, what has happened here, it is that I did a backup of the files on the computer of a friend with the wizard to transfer to an external hard drive, but I started on the old computer and for one reason or another never get the CD Wizard so I thought that I was OK.  Don't think.  The idea was to have the backup files in case I needed to reformat the drive hard, I ended up reformatting the drive and when I finally got the installation more done with trying to run the file and Settings Wizard and when I chose the external drive that files were on and then subsequently the folder and it said that it did not contain information.  So basically I'm stuck with a complete record of .dat files, and the wizard will not let me extract the files off the drive.  Is there anyway that I can return information about the files, or I'm totally finished.

  Everything worked ok that it proved just that he did not want to me to choose the actual file as a path, but the hard drive.  It was just something simple that I pop up.  Thanks for the help but I don't know that it would have been the next problem if I didn't had not updated the operating system first.
