  It's really weird, but flash animations on most sites (sites like Ustream) will not play after that I updated the flash player. The funny thing is that on youtube play very well. I've tried disabling the addon of shockwave, relocation, etc., but nothing works. This problem is with firefox only because as the Chrome and Explorer the flash player works fine.

• How can I prevent installation of McAfee GUARD during the Flash update?

  I'm under Win8.0, Firefox 34.0.5. I have NO options when I select upgrade - I get a 'Save' option for downloading, after which I have to go to the download folder, select and run the .exe file that installs BOTH the Flash player AND McAfee software updated. I DON'T want McAfee and immediately uninstall it. How can I prevent its installation? Thank you!

  The easiest way is to simply use Internet Explorer, Edge (for Win10) or Chrome, which bundle Flash Player as a component integrated on Win8 and higher, so there is never an installer to download, or an update to install (they are delivered via Windows Update or the update of Chrome, respectively).

  For Firefox, you will need to uncheck the box for McAfee on the download page itself, after which you will get the installation program that is not group McAfee.  I posted much longer explanations on the subject, so I'm not going to come in here, but we invite you to look through my flow for a longer and more eloquent background.

  in my house, we run 3 win laptops, Win 2 tablets, 2 desktop computers Win, 2 SmartPhones Win, an iPad and an iPhone (as well as 2 Linux boxes).

  Now, you might say, OH, right there is your problem - I agree, this IS my problem.

  I wish I didn't have to run all of these machines, and 3 or 4 different browsers EACH requires different FLASH implementations--but, please, don't bother to argue this case.

  However, if FLASH needs updated, I have to spend more than an hour, sometimes for days at a time, just to get current FLASH!

  Part of this issue is that update 3 or 4 steps (in office), you must monitor - this seems very inefficient. (I am aware of the security implications)

  The situation is really impossible and considering FLASH is uninstalled on all systems, just to remove the headache - and costs (my time > potentially $100 / week X 52 weeks = eek!... for FLASH, really?)

  For comparison - my windows machines of updated (daily, or more) the operating system, applications, updates of malware, etc., without having to restart automatically in the background.

  We anticipate to releases once a month.  Cases where we push several updates in a single week (or month) are made because a security hole has been found.  Our top priority is keeping our clients safe course.  We are working around the clock (and most weekends and holidays) to make sure get out us a fix to our customers as soon as POSSIBLE when such problems occur.  We know keeping up-to-date is difficult but you have a few options to choose from that will relieve the pain.

  My first recommendation would be to select "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" in the Advanced tab of the control panel Flash Player.  Alternatively, you can also choose this option during the installation of Flash Player.

  Once selected, all your machines and browsers get more updates silently installed without any user interaction within 24 hours of an update made available.  There will be a few updates (usually quarterly) you will see a notification dialog box appear. They occur generally when a new major version is made available.  You can choose either manually install via this dialog box, or you can simply reject this dialogue and we will silently update you within 45 days.

  You can also switch your browser to Google Chrome, in which case Flash Player is built in.  No need to update, Google does it for you when they push their automatic updates.  Chrome is available for Mac, Win, Linux and of course, ChromeOS.

  If you have Windows 8, you can use Internet Explorer.  Flash Player for IE is integrated into Windows 8 and customers receive updates using the standard Windows Update service.

  On Linux, I recommend once again using Google Chrome.  If you need the NPAPI plugin, then I use one of the services of the distribution update and install Flash like this.

• I'm the only person who can't watch youtube videos after the Flash update?

  I use Firefox 8 version Mac OS x Lion. A few hours, I updated Adobe Flash and from that moment, youtube videos will not be displayed in FF. I get a black screen instead of the video.
  Does not happen in Safari, where videos are shown perfectly. That's why I assume that this has something to do with the FF.
  Anyone else?

  Don't forget to uninstall completely, everything first and run CCleaner, before installing the old version.

  This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.

  If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt.  If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.

  If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.

• Display in the Flash update (10.0.2) bug

  So I installed the update to Flash CS4, which was released in may, and most of the time, I'm happy with the changes.  There is at least a big bug, however: the display is not being updated correctly when the starting image is changed on one graphic symbol through any means other than by typing in the 'first' box in the properties panel.  This may not seem like a problem - otherwise how would you change, after all?  Well, by pressing "Cancel", for example, once you have changed through the box «first»  Or via JSFL.  This is the biggest problem for me: I have a lot of JSFL commands I wrote which are pretty much part of my animation process that changed the boot of a graphic symbol image, but the screen are updated correctly when I use those.

  So my question is: someone there to meet other this problem?  I've met on several facilities so I'm sure that it is an integral part of the update.  Has anyone found a way to fix, or at least a workaround?  Perhaps a way to JSFL to force a view to day?

  Thank you very much for letting us know about this one. I can't wait to hear about it and reproduces these two problems and classified in their own country.

  Regarding the JSFL, one solution could be to manually select the scene in JSFL:

  document.setSelectionRect ({left: 0, top: 0, right: 0 bottom: 0});

  You can select an area of the stage that contains the instance instead, if you want it to remain selected.

  Hi there please help me. I didn't have this problem until two days ago when the browser updated itself. I have the youtube video downloader add on and always use it. I'm on a data plan and it used to block videos and add ads which I like, but now is not because of the update, I came back to the old version, but it did not help and I downloaded the flash but block it does not work. It makes the slow loading of pages and uses a large amount of data that I tried many things like all the plugins of switching to add it on the menu to activate ever and it doesn't quite work.   I solved. On the firefox support page they will give you information about the HTML5 player and they say there that firefox uses it only 38 version before so I'm 36 version and it worked in blocking it as before.

     About the .Js I cannot find a User.JS in the profile folder but ther is a user.bk and other files that have.json. Should I do anything with these?

• have had crashes Flash, tried updated for flash 11.4 and update still obsolete poster for the flash player plug-in.

  My Flash drive has started breaking last night. I did a check on the update page and he said flash was outdated, so I've updated. After restart of Firefox and recheck the plugin to update page he has always shown the flash player as obsolete. I tried the Reset card in dat file and it shows even as obsolete.
