  Can't really tell if it was useful or not. Before I had the answer, I rebooted and the problem disappeared. I appreciate the quick response and it will keep on file for future reference if the problem happens again.

  I don't think you need to do something on the ntp.conf or step-tickers. you just need to enter the ntp server settings in the configuration tab. I've seen the issue you mentioned, but can be solved by restarting the ntp service available in the same window... hope that helps.

• The scaling and resizing

  I use a ProgressIndicator in MigLayout (version of JavaFX, see http://www.miglayout.com/). Now, if I resized the ProgressIndicator, its size does not change. In other words, MigPane still uses the size of the scales available components. It's a question of layout or scaling it not lead to resizing?

  Scaling in a layout pane does not resize as it modifies the boundsInParent not the layoutBounds and page layout in the panes is only based on layoutBounds, not boundsInParent.

  If you place the node to be resized in a group, then the layoutBound of the group will be calculated based on boundsInParent of the closed node, so you'll probably end up with the desired behavior.

• There was a 'new window' and a 'new tab' icon that can be slid into the window customize toolbar. In 7 & 8, there is always a 'new window' icon but there is no new tab icon is located to customize. Where can I add a 'new tab' to the toolbar?

  You can find the button new tab showing as a '+' on the tab bar.
  
  You can open the window customize and drag the button new tab that indicates that a sign plus bar tabs on another toolbar and it will become a regular tools like the new button bar button tab you have in versions of Firefox 3.
  
  If you can not find the new button tab then click the button 'Restore Default Set' in the window customize.
  
  If you would like the button tab at the right end of the tab bar, then place a flexible space to the left of it.

  Try the following. Open IE11, click on the tools, mouse over the option 'Print' option and select "print preview

  

  Select the layout, as shown below.

• Record the location and size of the pallette tabs

  I create a new palette with tabs and I would like to save the changes made by the user for the position and size, so they can be applied at the next opening of bridge.  Instead of the palette by tabs always open in the bottom right, for example, paletteColumn [law, low] and with a fixed width, I want to open up to the size and location in their last session of the user.  If the user drags the palette tabs to another location or drag the width, I want to read to the end and write it in a temporary file where it will be read at the next startup.

  It seems that I should be able to access the properties of a tab of the palette using app.document.palettes [index], but I can't get anything useful to come back.

  It seems that the location (row, column) cannot be retrieved for some reason any?

  Also another bug in Bridge CS6, it will crash if you close the palette.

• Image maps and Hotspots in a liquid layout?

  I wonder if anyone knows a way to make an image map with hotspots to comply with a provision of liquid. Since each hotspots has its own coordinated, when the image moves (grows smaller or more) these hotspots is more coincident with the coordinates on the map. I have now fixed a map with animated buttons and clickable links (an image map with hotspots) to a pixel of 987 and I would do it again is 1920 pixels and liquid. I have the rest of my site works with a liquid layout, but cannot understand the thing about image map and a comprehensive online search proved unsuccessful as have all my attempts.   All things are possible, but it is located on the edge!  You * can * cela by adjusting EACH coordinate dynamically but it would - be a major beast, given the number of hotspots you use, and the number of coordinate pairs each.

  I wouldn't want to tackle this project.

  Flash is perhaps the answer here?

• Can't get the icon and text for the items on the bar, sucking tabs of tools! cannot arrange icons I liked firefox 28 better for customization, but it crashes... NOT HAPPY!

  There is no space and firefox said I can put icons on the tool bar anywhere... it jumps at the end and I can't get anything in the middle of the page, the icons are small, and there is no option to enlarge them and add text to the icon. the tabs that look like a file folder suck. There is no option to add a toolbar or put tabs on top overall is 10 steps backward instead of an improvement... you had something very friendly with 28 and you're just screwed I will seek another browser

  Hi Gary, you come earlier to the new UI design? There is an old article on how to use an add-on to restyle it as the interface classic Firefox 4-28, or even earlier. • How can I change the font size on my tab headings and bookmarks menu? The fonts have inexplicably increased in size and I can't find an option to change them.

  Without any evident input from any of the users on my PC, the police in my topics tab, field toolbar and bookmark URL has increased. I can't find any options to make them smaller. I changed the font for my content page and main menu but I'm stuck with large large fonts out of proportion to the securities tab, toolbar field and bookmarks URLs.
