Editor Windows Mail problem: copy the text only - no formatting.
I send each week a report that contains digital data tables. I used to copy the report from the previous week and simply insert new numbers (most of the entries are zero, so there is relatively little that really needs to be changed). Then, a few weeks ago, when I copied the previous week report, none of the formatting got - just text copied. And it's a terrible mess because all the columns compressed on the left margin with only a single space between them. Column headers do not cover, etc. It's more work to fix this mess only to re - simply type everything. Once I get a line put in place in the columns, you would think that I could copy it as many times as necessary to re-create the table - then go back and fill in the changes - BUT NO! Everything I copy is copied without any formatting being recorded. What used to take me a minute or two now takes half an hour. HOW CAN I MAKE THE COPY OF THE EMAIL AS WELL AS TEXT FORMATTING EDITOR? I think that this problem started with the first report, I tried to create after the installation of Internet Explorer 9. This is perhaps related to my problem.

This column contains descriptive information. Here I have to publish data in the format of paragraph to comply with the conditions
No line exceed 80 characters maximum, no words are cut between the two to start the new line.

Placing the text in TextEdit, formatting preserved
Customer keeps me seending text it saves like TextEdit (or e-mail, which, when they are copied from TextEdit, does preserve, it is formatted).
But when I place the text in InDesign, even when selecting "Preserve styles and formatting" it still appears as the default, all regular fonts no ital or "BOLD" and "BOLD" - ital.
Any solution to this?

You have a copy of Word? It looks like paste into Word and then place the file will do the trick. Paste from Word the same thing you describe thus:
- Paste the text into Word
- Save and close the Word doc
- File > Place in InDesign

I am trying to automate the search text in a file FM11 and CE marking with a specific paragraph tag. Once it is, I want to be able to search for the same string again and delete it. The research will include wildcard characters. I'm moving Word files on and bring with manual numbering of paragraphs. Thus, when they arrive, they "2.3.4.5" before paragraphs for example. I want to search all of the numbers at the beginning of paragraphs, tag all those with the appropriate para format (starting a catalog) and then remove the manual numbering.
At this time do us it manually, using find/replace and by using wildcard search strings to find (such as '\P[1-9]*.*.*.*[0-9]', which will find all the para numbering at the beginning of a paragraph 4-digit), then using the change option to paste to paste in a paragraph of the catalog tag. I guess right here because I've never done this before, but... In my view, there is definitely something wrong with your mission to find the property values. The way you wrote, you are trying to assign two properties to a single table space. WTH? I have a gap in the text that I can't fill. There is no hidden formatting that I can find, and I apply a paragraph style to text.
I'm not well-versed in indesign, but what I've discovered, is that the box around the page number on the master was wrapping text, which was originally my text to break around her at the center bottom of the pages. Problem solved, and amiellemiel is right.

I have a requirement to show a text report page in recorded format. The report in text format is saved as a text report several records with each line containing the maximum 78 characters.
Each drive is formatted with a space to display the data in the column. For example:

Thus, you cannot read the data with the appropriate column header. If you query the table in SQL Developer, it shows with perfect formatting. Also our legacy Oracle Forms application to display with the correct format.

If you can use a converter custom jsf (validation and conversion of entry) to change in the query using "pre" helped the (text with pre sourrounf) when the data is rendered. The converter must implement two methods. Then you can try to use ' ' as a space of unbreakeable instead of simple spaces.
