Editor Windows Mail problem: copy the text only - no formatting.

I send each week a report that contains digital data tables.  I used to copy the report from the previous week and simply insert new numbers (most of the entries are zero, so there is relatively little that really needs to be changed).  Then, a few weeks ago, when I copied the previous week report, none of the formatting got - just text copied.  And it's a terrible mess because all the columns compressed on the left margin with only a single space between them.  Column headers do not cover, etc.  It's more work to fix this mess only to re - simply type everything.  Once I get a line put in place in the columns, you would think that I could copy it as many times as necessary to re-create the table - then go back and fill in the changes - BUT NO!  Everything I copy is copied without any formatting being recorded.  What used to take me a minute or two now takes half an hour.  HOW CAN I MAKE THE COPY OF THE EMAIL AS WELL AS TEXT FORMATTING EDITOR?  I think that this problem started with the first report, I tried to create after the installation of Internet Explorer 9.  This is perhaps related to my problem.

It's quite possible.  There are a number of issues in WinMail IE 9 has touched.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15 and I would say that uninstall you it.

    iFiredog is correct. I don't have Windows Live Mail. I have 'Windows Mail'. This is the Version 6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101 - 2205). I can't find the tool captures to take a screenshot. While I was looking for it, I came across an icon at the far right of them above my Windows Mail. It is a rectangle (or square?) anything other than straight lines, showing one after the other on the icon. I clicked it. Bingo-test - files in my Windows Mail reappeared on the left side of my Panel. So, the problem seems to be resolved, unless when I go back to Windows Mail, list of folders is part once again! I have no idea how I lost it.  As to move my viewing of Windows Mail to the right with the arrow (on each side of the screen), I had tried more than once. The arrow on the left side of my screen was not working. He has nothing. The arrow on the right side did expand the display area to include plenty of empty space, that I have on the right.     (a) does is it works fine when you compose and send an Email?

    (b) was this works much earlier? What were the changes to the system between the time where everything has worked, and when you noticed the problem?

    I suggest you try the following steps:

    1. open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.

    2. click on the Tools menu, click Options and then click the signing tab

    3. ensure that Add signatures to all outgoing messages check box is selected.

    4. now select the Advanced tab (top),

    5. under the gaze of adjustmentfor reply/forward section s

    6. Insert signature at the bottom of the answer of the box is checked.

    7. click on apply and ok.

    I hope someone has a useful suggestion. Please don't tell me to go to "Change the size of text only." This is the function that does not work.

The installation went fairly well, but I had this problem of fonts since then.  ASUS computer laptop, Intel core I7, good resolution, good speed, ideal machine, except that Windows has me squint all that day, seven days a week.

    The option "Change only the size of the text" applies only to the text for the following items.

    Title bars

    Menus

    Message boxes

    Titles of palette

    Text of the icon

    ToolTips

    What you need to do is select the link "Custom resizing options" directly above the option "Change only the text size.

    In the dialog box move the cursor in the rule box, hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the rule. If the size is 100%, try to start with it to 125%.

    Click OK, and then apply. You will be asked to disconnect / connect to before the change takes effect.

    If 125% does not for you try to bump the size up one another 10% gradually until you are satisfied.

    All of my Windows Mail subfolders and the emails contained in disappeared mysteriously.  I closed Windows Mail with all folders and opening Windows Mail again the next day, only the default folders (Inbox, sent, etc.) were present.

    I created a new folder named "Test" that I can see has been saved in "C:\Users\San\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders" as well as other folders by default, but I can find no trace of my 20 folders + that I had previously.

    Help!

    Nobody knows what could have happened and if they might be elsewhere on the HARD drive?  I have run several searches looking for folder names, but so far have developed in white.

    Method 1:

    (a) start the Windows Messaging mail client.

    (b) click on 'Tools' from the main menu and choose "accounts".

    (c) a pop up will appear showing you all the email accounts in Windows Mail. Select the one that gives you the error and then click on the button 'Properties'.

    (d) another window pop up displays all parameters associated with this account.

    (e) under the "servers" tab check the 'e-mail username' and 'password'. One of them would certainly incorrect which translates the ID of Windows Mail error 0x800CCC92

    (f) to avoid having to enter the user name and password each time, check the box in front of "Remember password".

    (g) once you make the appropriate changes, click on the button 'apply' then 'OK'. Close the other pop-up window

    Type less.  More abbreviate.  Choose the unnecessary parts.

    If you have a single given pure text document you posted and assumptions that must be made because of that-, then these are your choices.

    If you have a version of some processing (such as Microsoft Office Word 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, or 2010) and this is what you are asking about - everything will depend on the version of Word that you have, etc.-, but the General advice above remains true with the addition of "stay away from fancy formatting.

    This kind of behavior is very often due to antivirus.  You are using.  If its McAfee or Norton get rid of them completely.   There are others who are also incompatible.  Everything you try, make sure that the analysis of e-mail is disabled.   You can also try to repair the database and see if that helps (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  And see also www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
