The game 9Dragons crashes so I need the latest drivers

I'm new to this forum.
Currently, I am looking for a newer Nvidia display driver for my Satellite M40 (model No.: PSM40A).
Unfortunately, the Australia Media Download (http://www.toshiba.com.au/) site content only drivers of 4 years.
I managed to download 2 years (http://www.softpedia.com/) drivers, but this 2yrs drivers is still not helping me run the Net game (9Dragons). The laptop crashes after 10-15 minutes in the game.

I contacted the support of 9Dragons and the ask contact me the laptop for the last display & audio drivers.

And what do you think average or it crashes? East - the laptop completely freezes or just the game?

I never heard of the game 9Dragons but searching the site of the factory for an update or patch.

    Further, you can view different websites which also offers some graphics drivers, for example the site omegadrivers.net.

    Please note:
    According to several threads here in the forum of the graphics driver installation non-Toshiba is at your own risk!

    Unfortunately due to the age of the unit will be more updated graphics driver from Acer for the product. The AMD compatibility tool blocks the installation because their drivers don't provide specific features such as switchable graphics system.

    Well it turns out that a little Japanese knowledge so I decided to go to the Toshiba Japan website, in the download section of pilot, and I was a bit shocked ^_^

    For my Qosmio E10, I realized that most of the downloads from the European websites of Toshiba are outdated.

    -There is a new version of the bios 1.70 (which improves stability with Intel chipset AFAIK) instead of on the site of the Euro 1.60. [I didn't try it because my machine is a French]

    -New Nvidia video drivers! 57,82 versus 57,79 on the site of the Euro. [I tried and there are new presets for PC games]

    -New driver tuner TV 1.0.2.6 versus 1.0.2.0 on the site of the Euro.
    [I tried and what a TOTALLY SOLVED MY TV PROBLEMS CHECK, I can finally save all: PAL, SECAM & NTSC without huge flicker that plagued the 1.0.2.0 version]

    -Toshiba offers 'Toshiba Virtual Sound' for owners of the E10 to the Japan. (in Europe, we still have the "Windows Media player SRS WOW" plugin) [I tried and it is a fantastic software, improvement of the sound is great with great presets, you won't believe what you get for your Harman/Kardon after installation of this!]
    It has the great advantage of working for all the Windows programs, not only in WMP as the fact the plugin 'SRS WOW' we have in Europe.

    As you can see there are a lot of new drivers that we, owners of European Qosmio, would really benefit.

    But there's something interesting that you should know about:
    Drivers Toshiba E10 euro site are also outdate compared to other Qosmio models pilots from the Euro site!
    For example:
    -The pilot of his "Soundmax", is a version of 3890 in section E10 and 5160 in the section of the G20!
    It's exactly the same chipset, so it is of course compatible and should also be in the section of the E10.

    Well, I think that the Japanese unit models differ a bit like a European models also the utilities and drivers. It of strange that the other drivers work correctly but
    I'm sure that if the new driver, tools and utilities are available for European units you will find this on the site of Toshiba Europe.

    The date of the driver that you see on the site of HP is probably wrong.  That is the date that the web page was last updated by HP, not the date, that the drivers have been released.

    To view the date of the driver, you must click on the Details tab for each of the drivers.  You will see then probably much more ANCIENT date of actual output for each driver.

    Satellite 2450-114 is a former, and in my opinion, it would not support the SDHC card using even the latest drivers why?
    Because the card holder is not in the software/driver, but this is a simple physical limitation (card reader)

    So I suggest to use an external USB card reader these drives are cheap and easy to use

    In general, if everything works well you should not change anything. I have laptop Satellite 2 years and always use original recovery without a single updated image.

    I installed important updates of Windows.

    Of origin ATI/nVidia drivers are not designed for Toshiba laptops.
    ATI drivers can be used on desktop computers.
    The drivers of Toshiba graphics card supports thermal protection which is necessary to avoid the increase in temperature.
    Laptops, graphics cards do not have huge as cooling office modules graphics cards and therefore the GPU driver control the performance of the graphics card.

    What you could do is to check the site driver for 3rd party such as;
    www.OmegaDrivers.net.

    But the non-Toshiba drivers may be used only at your own risk!

    Yes, there is a software that automatically installs these updates. The tool is called Toshiba Service Station and you can download this tool on the Web from Toshiba site.

    But why is it so important to always have the latest drivers?

    Never update all the drivers if the computer works properly. This is only necessary if you notice any problems.

    The best thing to do is run Windows Update and update HP.  That should be all that is necessary to ensure that the system is up-to-date.

    Please ensure that your Pen drivers are up-to-date. (check the manufacturer's Web site)

    Also, what exact version of Photoshop and Lightroom are you using?

    Search for graphics card drivers update as well.
