You can replace the name of the seller and the application of your project properties. (Right-click on the project-> properties...-> general tab).

And you can use AplicationPermissionsManager (net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissionsManager) and ApplicationPermissions (net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissions) class to define you confirmation by programming. See the javadoc for more details.

Also, you can set permissions manually using Options - Advanced Options - Applications, select
your application in the list, open the menu and select "edit permissions".

    I suspect that you ask for the location provider until the Blackberry OS has initialized, then it is you say there is not one.  I think you need to stall until the OS is ready.  This article should help.  Other related articles from starting up in the KB that could also help.

    my iPhone 6s has problems with the GPS when I use some applications, it does not work well and give especially the bad road. Can someone help me?

    My iphone 6 has started having the same problem. Its literally the GPS. Saying that it does not find me at all. Ive seen say location for more than an hour in the suburbs of chicago. • My 7 GPS iPhone does not work in any GPS application

    I got my new iPhone 7 last week. Yeaterday was the first day I tried to use Waze to give me directions to an address, but he was constantly telling me that she is looking for the GPS signal.

    I first thought that it is a problem with Waze so I reinstalled, displayed/hidden it's approval of location on and outside Services, but nothing helped. I restarted the phone, even restored (Yes. I have about 2 hours waiting to do).

    But that has not worked so I thought that perhaps Waze is, after all the blame. So I tried also maps from Apple and Google Maps. NONE of them could get my location. And while my position was 'fixed' at Waze, showing me home - Yes, Waze is still showing me the House status even if I am in another city - maps of Apple and Google Maps shows my post to jump around randomly on the map.

    I tried to reset my edge settings, my privacy settings, each of them. Nothing helps.

    Is there perhaps someone who has a solution, or should I go through the pain and try to replace a week later I got it?

  • The GPS on my Apple Watch can locate me

    Hi, I use a Apple Watch with watch OS 2.2.2. So my problem is this, since a few days that my watch stopped to tell me what time the sun rises and sets. (see the upper left corner of this image below)

    I looked up online and found the easy solution for this: Use Plan to locate the Apple Watch with GPS.

    But it did not work. He did not because the problem that I am facing is different from what I initially thought it was. The problem is that the Plan is not able to find me more.

    If I open the Plan, it will load for always for my position, as you can see on this picture below.

    I tried to restart the application by holding down the home button and taking again. It will make even the app load indefinitely.
    I also tried to restart my Apple Watch completely, and as you can probably, it is not always help me.

    So now, I couldn't have tried a lot of things yet - but I'm running out of ideas to solve this problem.

    Can you help me please? The rising sun is such a great feature on the Apple Watch!

    Thank you very much.
    -aSynotte

    P.S.: Please note that the problem occurred also on watch OS 2.2.1

    Apple Watch doesn't have a GPS. It uses the GPS of the iPhone connected to GPS to find your location.

    I think you are using the wrong terminology.  It would be useful to know the application in question.   Some applications have specific licenses to drive, some use the network adapter on the computer to monitor the conditions of authorization and some won't let you have two simultaneous copies running at the same time on two different computers.  Upload is the term used to send a file from a client computer (for example, a user of an internet provider) to a server (for example an internet provider).   If English is not your language, please indicate what it is.

  • Turn the GPS and MapPoint

    I have a new twist of Lenovo and attempted to link internal 2013 MapPoint with GPS, but MapPoint does not recognize that it is there. Is it possible to make MapPoint to work with it?

    Also, is there a specific standard or something I should look at before trying to get other software to run with the GSP of the twist function?

    Wayne

    I found the answer myself. I saw a comparative review in which appeared the GPS as one of the possible characteristics for reviewed products. The twist has been listed as 'NO' in the column GPS, so it has not one.

    I don't know why someone would create a pill (or Tablet part-time) integrated device without GPS, but that's a separate issue. I know that most of my clients will reject the twist because of it that followed and dynamic of the directions that are important in a large number of their applications.

    Hello and welcome to the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have checked our Forum.

    You can check the location settings if you go to settings > location. Go to high precision mode.

    If this does not help, try the following:

    Open the phone app > press on * #* #* #* #7378423 > service testing > GPS > purge data of assistance.

    Restart the machine and try to get your location when outdoors.

  • GPS on SW3 seems only Lock when I turn the GPS on my phone! (Note 2)

    Hello

    Only, I decided to jump on the bandwagon of smartwatch due to the external GPS in the SW3.  So, I bought the SW3 less than a week ago.  I intend to leave my phone (Note 2) at home during the race, but it seems that I can't do it again!  I bought the watch of VerizonWireless and only have less than two weeks return it if there is a problem with the GPS on my watch.

    I was doing some GPS 'tests' by starting GhostRacer and then...  (1) removing my watch during a night without clouds for more than 15 minutes and the GPS was always "looking."  (2) I walked my dead end a few times.  Always "in search".  (3) I had a crazy idea to turn the GPS on my phone.  Wow!  Almost immediately, the GPS on the watch will display 4 bars, then locked with 3 bars.  I continued to walk and GhostRacer started showing I was moving a distance and speed greater than 0.0.  Great!  Maybe just needs to use the GPS on my phone to lock the watch?  I turned off my phone GPS and continued on foot.  The distance and the stopped rate of increment.  I turned on my phone back GPS and the watch started to increase my distance again.  I kept turning off GPS on my phone and I found that the watch only really felt my movement when the GPS on my phone is turned on.  Before that, I tried RunKeeper and he always showed my distance to 0.0.

    If I need to have the watch uses the GPS on my phone, then it is not necessary to obtain this particular smartwatch!

    Is there something special I should do to "activate" the GPS of my watch?  Is there a special mode that I can run in to see how many satellites that my watch can pick up and, possibly, the strength of the signal?  I have not been able to find too many messages on the Internet on the GPS doesn't work don't not with execution of applications, so I wonder if there is something wrong with my particular watch, but I won't be able to prove that first.

    Here are some details:

    PWP

    Location: on

    Flight mode: Off

    Android wear: 1.0.5.1785466

    Note 2 phone

    GPS: Off (unless I'm trying to make my GPS watch to work!)

    Any help would be appreciated!  Thank you!

    Disconnect the phone from your watch and try again. Disconnection = go away or turn off BT on your phone.

    If your watch is connected with your phone, then the phone GPS and GPS settings have priority. Turning off the GPS on your phone means you want to use the location services.

  • How can I block the alert that appears when you try to access the GPS coordinates?

    I develop an application that has access to the GPS coordinates and when I try to access appear a message that says "a JavaScript asked the physical location of your device. You want to offer this to the script? Can I block this alert?

    If you use the HTML5 geolocation API (lots of examples on a google search) instead of blackberry.location.latitude etc., you will be asked only the first time.

  • Get the GPS Position in a specific interval

    Hi BB-Devs,

    I m developing a BB10 application where I use the GPS location Services.

    I need to update my current position in a specific interval.

    First of all:

    In the corrugation Simulator, everything works fine. My position will be refreshed every x seconds.

    Yesterday, I deployed my application with debugging token to my Z10.

    It seems the app works.     BUT:

    When I change my position, the new position will not be updated as in the Simulator :-(

    In my console log, I see that my function is called every x seconds.

    Here is a code snippet of the function that is called in the intervall:

    function setAktPosition() {
        //First test to see that the browser supports the Geolocation API
           if (navigator.geolocation !== null)
           {
              var options;
              navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(setAktPositionSuccess, setAktPositionError, options);
           }
           else {
              alert("HTML5 geolocation is not supported.");
           }
    }

    function setAktPositionError(error)
    {
       alert("An unexpected error occurred [" + error.code + "]: " + error.message);
    }

    function setAktPositionSuccess(position)
    {
       //Extract information about the users current position:
       var time = position.timestamp;
       var coordinates = position.coords;

       //Retrieve geographic information about the GPS fix:
       ap.valueLat = coordinates.latitude;
       ap.valueLon = coordinates.longitude;
       ap.valueAlt = coordinates.altitude;
       ap.valueSpeed = coordinates.speed;
       //var acc = coordinates.accuracy;
       //var altAcc = coordinates.altitudeAccuracy;
       //var head = coordinates.heading;
       refreshMap();
    }

    That's how I got to call this function in a specific interval:

    aktiv = window.setInterval("setAktPosition()", intervallInSec);

    However - the works of the intervall-function-call - but my application still get the top position - no update of position when changing my situation :-(

    Corsica, I did this in my config.xml file:

       access_location_services

    My application has requested when starting fist approvals of the location. I also checked this in the settings of the device of my Z10.

    Are there problems with the GPS location services in the webworks for BB10?

    Or is it not possible to achieve?

    I will be happy if anyone has any advice for me :-)

    Thank you very much!

    Lars.
