the hearing session sharing - PC to mac?

Hello

I just bought a new MacBook pro and I would like to share a session of filtration for the new mac

is this possible?

Best regards

Martin

The session file is compatible between the systems.  When some people have a problem is when their audio files on a shared network location, stored paths are represented differently on each platform.  The best way to solve this problem would be to choose file > export > Session on the PC and choose to make copies of all audio files.  This will create a directory with local copies of files that can be copied on the Mac.  If you want to use these network sources, you get an error when you open the file SESX on Mac and have the possibility of linking the clips of new files.  Browse to the network share and select the first file and the rest, if in the same directory, should be found automatically.

Another potential conflict would be not specific to the platform of plugins you may have.  Hearing on PC supports VST as long as the support of Mac VST and Audio Units.

After you import an omf. Everything is imported correctly. But the session properties do not match. I would go back to 24-bit. How can I change the properties of such session of the bit depth, without having to create a new session? There used to be an advanced session properties window.

When you save the hearing session, if you use ' Save as ', then you will get the options to set the default save for what you want.

  • Premiere Pro 6 and Audio of the hearing affecting Kona convince

    Hello

When I have Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition open at a time, and I send an audio clip of Premiere Pro to Audition for editing, I have no sound in the hearing. If I only have one of these programs, the audio works fine in both. Given that these programs are interconnected, it is essential that I have audio in both, even if the two programs are open. Is there a fix for the pilot or another way to get Premiere Pro to release the Kona card Iraq during the transition to the hearing? I use a Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 6 strands 24 MB Ram 1333 DDR3 and Quadro 4000 with Kona convince drivers 10.4.4 with Adobe presets.

    Thank you,

    Hello Dunamis,

Unfortunately, this is a known issue with the Kona card. I know it's something they'd like difficulty, but I'm not sure on the calendar.

There are moments when this workflow will work without problem but when he goes into the bad condition, you will need to leave apps.

When I try to save my project in the hearing of the CP, a mistake of "Apple Audiotoolbox. could not create the specified file Error code: "op?

I tried to register under another title, but the same error pops up.

    Help

Unfortunately, this may be the problem. Hearing may lose the contact network and not be able to reconnect to the where it expects to record the session. If possible, save all your sessions locally first. Then, you should be able to copy through on the server to storage outside the hearing.

Now I can only get one suspends the button in the toolbar 4.1, the red, yellow or green button is not present.

Can someone guide me how to minimize the session without clicking the button on the unit, then to reduce it, please?

If you are running on lion, it's easy. You can swipe between your main desktop app full screen by gesture swipe on the trackpad or magic mouse or control + left/right arrow on the keyboard.

If you always use SL, I think you can exit full screen first and then reduce it. A bit fussy, but I think it's fast.

  • shared library and the HTTP session

Is many webapp in shared library share of different of the same session?

    Best regards;

    Hello

If you are including shared libraries by referencing the in your WEB-INF/weblogic.xml file, then all the portlets in the shared libraries will share the same session.

However, if you access different wars using WSRP, remote portlets (WSRP) will have different sessions (one session per webapp).

  • Firefox opens the last session and tabs regardless of settings.

For the last month or two, I had this problem as well as others. Kept getting a popup to set my search engine, I did several times without success. This question went. Tab question remains.

No matter what setting I use open the previous session. I have Tab Mix Plus 0.4.1.8 so I've disabled that and checked the settings in FF to open to my Home Page. No good, don't always open the previous session.

This was not a problem with Tab Mix Plus over the years that I used it. Exactly, I removed it from the Add - ons. Options of FF and together to start with the Home Page and restarted FF but always opens the previous session.

Including a snapshot of the modules enabled.

    What is the cause?

Your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.
The user.js file will be present if you or a other software created this file and normally will not present.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).
The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

Windows hides certain default file extensions.
Among them .html and .txt, so you can see only a user file name without .ini and .js file extension.
You can check the type of file (file extension) in the properties of the file via the context menu in Windows Explorer.

  • 26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it loads the previous session (and that includes all tabs). It does not matter how Firefox is closed.

26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it load the previous session, regardless of what has been entered in 'Options '. The browser runs in Win 7.0 64 bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides security features. There are some solutions 'cloud', also running as Google Drive, box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves in the same way in all my machines (installation and the OS is similar to that described above) and no amount of reset 'Options' seems to affect it. Nor is it affected by the way that Firefox is closed. This is obviously a bug that should be fixed.

My verse ATT modem ({use of devices not apple wifi of this modem} is connected to the ATT line, Time Capsule (iPhones, Macs use the wifi of the time Capsule) and connect to the Uverse modem via ethernet.)

Both devices are set to the highest security and each uses separate passwords.

Non apple devices can collect data from iPhones or Mac using the time Capsule?

With a bit of work by someone who knows how to do such things, not Apple computers could read some files on the Mac if file sharing is configured on the network... devices non-Apple and... He knew the device passwords or administrator for Macs.

Mac could also play the files on other Macs if file sharing has been implemented and the device password or admin was known.

If you ask if a PC can read the files on the Time Capsule, the answer is Yes, without doubt, assuming that the PC knew the password of device for the time Capsule.

  • consolidation of the media in the hearing?

    Hello

I have a big project of hearing (actually consisting of multiple multitrack sessions), and I need to move some of the multitrack sessions to a laptop to take with me drive. The original sound of the source of these sessions is archived on a disc, with records in different dated folders (my own system location of my hardware and archiving).

Someone knows is at - it a way of consolidating media in hearing?

There used to be an option (I think) long to save a project under a new name and when registering for a box bearing the mention "collect audio files", which would save COPIES of the audio media used in a session to a folder specified.

This option no longer seems to be there.

    Can anyone help?

    see you soon

    Duncan

File/export/Session gives you these options and much more.

  • No opening of the hearing of the MXF audio

I am trying to edit the audio of my Sony PXW-Z150.  It is 1080 video with 4 audio channels in a file, .mxf.  It opens fine in the first, but when I try to open the file in Audition, I get an error that an "unknown exception has been captured (Code 00000000)."  I hit OK and an audio file window opens (with four channels), but it is empty.  In the files Panel, the name of the file appears with (cancelled) appended to the name.  If I close the file, I get a different dialog box in the Editor window that says "the file 'Clip0002.MXF' contains the video only and cannot be changed. To view the video, insert the file into a multitrack session. »

It gives me just the video track - no sound.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for the test file, Ola.  I downloaded office and confirmed that I could reproduce the problem in the current version of the hearing and I am pleased to announce that its opening without problem in the next version, time very, very soon.  If you want to confirm, I just sent two invitations for the preliminary program private Audition.  There, you will be able to download a preview of the next version and check that you no longer see the code error or problems to import the MXF format.

    Thank you!
