• Retina display support?

  What will be the CS6 apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) updated for retina display?  These applications are essentially useless on these new computers.  Given the fact that photographers, designers and web developers are more attracted by these new devices, you'd think that Adobe would be in addition to this quickly.  But meanwhile it was months and months and still no update.

  Anyone in Adboe tried to open their apps on a retina display?  They are completely unusable...

  Illustrator does not yet support Retina display. Different product teams are working on it now.

• Retina display support for urgent indesign!

  Here you have the requirements of Lightroom CC-> https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/system-requirements.html as you can see, it works with OS X El Capitan, so you should not have any problem using it in your MacBook.

  If you are worried about Retina display support, it is supported, worry is not on this topic.

  I have two iMac 27', one of 2010 and a whole new one retina.

  The topic is:

  Editing some pictures on photoshop for my site on the retina of display but the photos seem a little obscure, as a low resolution...
  Edit the photos exactly the same on my old iMac and the perfect look of photos!

  Same size, same resolution, same photoshop.

  To be sure, I saved the two photos for the web on iMacs and then open them with the application overview on both screens.

  On the regular iMac, an image that is 400 pixels may appear as about 3 inches long on this screen. However, on your iMac to the retina, that image would be on a 1.5 inch. This is because the iMac has double the resolution, but the same retina display size. Which makes things look great. The downside is, it can also make things look small. To avoid this, the iMac of retina automatically stretches everything so a 400 pixel image on the regular iMac seems the same size on the Retina display. If you set a picture on, you know it can become blurred.  The solution to optimize your images for the Retina of your iMac display is to use higher resolution images. If you take a picture only twice as large that it must be on a traditional screen and squish it down for display on your Web site, it will look sharp for normal users. Then, when he's nervous for someone on an iMac of retina, you're going to be displayed at its original size - and it will always look perfect. There are ways to check the zoom level of the web browser and provide different versions of images on this basis. HTML5 offers tools to help with this.   The twinning is automatic, it does a good job.

  To use the native resolution, you have to compile using SDK 5.1, if you have not done this, it will be actually 1024 x 768.

• Solution for the issues with Acrobat 11.0.04 Retina display

  Hello

  It seems to be a problem for some users experience upgrades to Acrobat 11.0.04 on Mac Book Pro that support Retina display.

  In some cases, Acrobat always runs in low definition and the 'Open in low resolution' option is checked and disabled (cannot be changed).

  A cause we have identified is a preferences file that is not updated in some cases and prevents the system from let Acrobat running in view of the retina.

  To remedy this, you can try this:

  1. Uninstall Acrobat 11
  2. Delete Library/Preferences/com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist
  3. Reinstall Acrobat 11
  4. Help/update allows you to upgrade to 11.0.4

  One of the known workflow is updated from an earlier version of Acrobat that had been installed before an upgrade the system or an older version of Acrobat for example 9 is not supported on Mac OS 10.8.

  Please share your experience here and let us know if that does not solve your problem. We will contact you if need be case-by-case basis, to ensure that you have Acrobat running in high definition.

• What is the best way to support the retina screens?

  I've done recently for my custom panel UI code only, but my retina users report that everything is still pixelated (I did have the chance to find a machine of the retina to test yet myself). I had hoped to make the user interface in the code would make it works naturally, but appears not to be the case.

  In this research, I stumbled upon the users of mobile applications using FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.applicationDPI together a target DPI, but appears not to exist in the CS Flex SDK 3.4.0 (which seems to be something Flex 4).

  What is the best way to support the retina display for my Panel? As far as I know, Flex 4 does not work with the CSXS library.

  Looks like there is no way for you to do this in Control Panel. We need to update some components to be HiDPI aware first. Stay tuned...

  I just ordered a new macbook pro with the retina display, and I know that photoshop is already compatible with it, 90% of my work is done in Lightroom. So I was wondering when or if there will be an update for the new screen high resolution?

  Apple only can answer such a question, and the terms of use for these forums discourage us discuss what Apple plans to do.

  I too have a MBP 2010.  I installed an SSD and that increased performance.  Consider that as an option.

  You may experience other problems that slows down your MBP.  Before commit you the important cash for a new MBP, examine the potential software problems that may be responsible for the poor performance.  With the SSD, my 2010 works better than the day he came out of the box.

  When I try to startup macbook pro retina in battery mode, it will fail to start showing low battery level and an indicator to recharge the battery. It does not start on battery. When I then connect via the power cable at startup (and check the battery level), monitor of battery in the menu bar indicates that the battery is charged to the top.

  It gets really frustrating and remove my ability to use the macbook pro retina as a truly portable device...

  Appreciate any help on this
