    Hello

try a restore of the system before this happened

    Hello

The SVCHOST. EXE is connected to many different processes and it is not uncommon to be asked to run a number of times.  As long as Svchost.exe is requested in the system32 folder is not the issue.

    Method 1

In many cases this would happen because of security software installed on the computer.

I suggest you disable the security software installed on the computer and check.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then it may be due to infections of virus or malware on the computer, I would say that you scan and remove all infections from the computer and check.

The scan below only works on the 32-bit version of Windows

    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

You can use databases of Microsoft security to scan your computer

  • Autoruns is blocking the main process Explorer under Windows 7 64-bit

The latest version of Autoruns (13,40) blocks the main process explore on my 64-bit Windows, when I run it (it shows the entries normally thereafter). It doesn't always, but very often. Usually it's on his first run in a 'session' (i.e. it won't eventually happen if I try to run it more later on; but after a reboot, there is a high probability of it crashing explorer.exe again).

No work around to do this, other than to wait for the update? It never happened with earlier versions of Autoruns (which is also a wonderful tool).

    Hey Anubis,

I apologize for the misunderstanding of the question. In this case, I suggest you to check if the same problem occurs on a different user account. This is to check if the problem is caused due to problems specific to the user.

If the problem is specific to users, then I suggest you to refer to the following article from Microsoft Help to fix the damaged user account.

You start with 30 1000 arguments to have 30 parallel processors in batches, each compiles a 1000 times program and runs it. The problem is that the memory develops its use

It's mine bug, you say? Where? In the end, I finished all batch processes. Memory consumption continued to increase. Yet, you see, he is not released. Is this ok? I noticed that my PC is starting to get excited. I can't even move a mouse after some 1000 CCG performs a loop with my simple program execution. PC becomes slow as hell and nothing helps to recover its restart performance but the machine. It seems that some memory leaks in Windows. It's not all recover when the process stops. Is this a known issue?

It seems to be question of Windows Professional. I can't reproduce it in Windows 7 Enterprise, which also gets the requested CPU easily 100%.

  • Windows Mobile Device host process for Windows Services farm...

    Greetings...

I used my iPaq for years with several versions of Windows up to Vista x 64 final, with Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. But now when I plug it into a USB Port it does not connect. Shortly after plugging in I get the message: "Peocess host for Windows Services stopped working and was closed. If I reboot or try another port, I could see a new driver installation message, but the result is the same.

    I tried:

    1 reset

2 system restore to a time where the iPaq connected

    3. delete the partnership (a new partnership can now be launched because Windows does not connect to the device)

    4. to install the latest Windows Mobile device driver x 64 (6.1 I think)

5 install the latest Windows updates

So, what did you do to my system to stop what was working? Please advise me on how I could fix your Windows error?

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

OK chaps... I'm afraid to say that the support system missed me at this opportunity.

However, I am happy to say that I solved the problem after spending several hours on the subject. What have I done? I did a soft reset on the iPaq and hey presto, it connects now.

I was invited to do the soft reset because I noticed that ActiveSync on the iPaq couldn't be started. I tried to verify the boot parameters, but as it would not start, I could not see, and still less set.

So for the MVP: I suggest that next time arises a question about the failure of the connection for an iPaq, or the host process to crash when it is plugged in, you should firsat suggest a soft reset of the iPaq.

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

How to fix the "host process for windows services stopped working and was closed" on Vista
    http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/host-process-for-Windows-services-stopped-working/ I hope I could help

  • Someone at - it smart enough to: «host process for Windows Services has stopped working...» » ?

I have spent a week on this problem, looking all over the internet and doubt that someone knows enough to solve this problem. I've been a software engineer for 30 years and never worked on an operating system such as buggy windows Vista (or windows)

I got TWO errors. They may be related.

= The first is with Windows Update

    -If you know, I tried:

    At ran windows BITS difficulty
ran sfc/scannow (it found and fixed some iexplorer 8 _)
    has ran defrag and
    has ran chkdsk
drivers replaced with the latest news from Toshiba
has run hardware diagnostics - no problem

I tried with and without firewalls and AV running.
I don't run AVG control and malware - no problem

    Windows Update always fails.

Machine: Vista 32 Home Premium SP2 on a Toshiba Qosmio computer laptop X 305-Q705 4 Gig Duo P7350 Intel with nvidia

Otherwise, Windows works fine. Net access is fine using Mozilla. Even correctly downloaded files. BUT

I get this error: windows update does NOT. It gives an error "failed", whose code is:

    0X80072EFE-2147012866 ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED

Also, sometimes strange, windows displays an error dialog box:

"Host process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed"

Now, BOD (bluescreens) seems to be related to the use of the damndable IExplorer 8

    Hey Joe,

I see that you have updated your drivers.

Have you updated your chipset for this PC drivers?

Are you overclocking PC or running a RAID configuration?

I suggest to remove all external devices during the diagnostic process, except the keyboard, mouse and monitor.

If you think this error is with IE, you can try running it without Add - ons.

Alternatively, you can try to reset the Internet Explorer settings.

Here is some information on this process:

You can also check your profile for corruption:

  • Host process for windows crashes

Every so often, at seemingly random times, I get a quick window that comes up saying "Background Intelligence Transfer has encountered a problem" with a blue bar that runs through the message. Then turns into a "host process for Services Windows has stopped working and was closed
A problem with the application to stop functioning properly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available. (Close)

And it causes my appearance to access very basic settings and it is slowly recovering back to Aero settings, but sometimes, it is not at all to recover.

I found a link to update my SONGS, but he said "it is not appropriate for your machine.

    Any ideas?

3-4 days on the test account. It was the same thing "BIT has stopped working" and then "host process crashed.

I took this to the top with the Live team, and my number is SRX1090636887ID

    They said:

Ben, I'm not the best person who can provide that help with this. You have reached a group that supports only the problems with Windows Live Messenger. The problem you have now could be better solved by your technicians from your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) since they are the ones who have the required knowledge and tools to help you with this issue. It seems that your C++ program is upward. Please check if you have the phone number of the manufacturer of the computer.
