The HP Pavilion should he LED indicator?

I don't know if this program is significant or not. All are the LEDS on the side where I can't see them anyway. Probably, he doesn't use a lot of resources but is it necessary?  What is your suggestion.  The thumb upwards or downwards?  Thank you, Jack dashack

I tried to write my signature in this area on the screen, but it doesn't seem to work? : v lol

A mystery! That we will call in the Scooby gang!

I think that what you're watching is actually the notification wireless for your keyboard.

That will tell if NUMLOCK is turned on
The capital letter is that the caps lock notification
The arrow is the scroll locking notification.

Yes, your PC is not a LED HDD/DVD, but probably the motherboard support it.

If you open the case, you will notice a connector near the heatsync chipset, it has 4 wires connectors has a few empty holes, I think it can be connected to some of the lights but I can find no reference at the present time.

  • Pavilion 10 x 2: indicator light hung on the screen, a limited control

    Hello

in the last days I have trouble with the laptop:

In the upper left corner of the screen there is always an indicator the same as the brightness/volume indicator - always showing 100 regardless of the actual values of brightness/volume. I am not able to make the light disappear.

At the same time slow down some operations (for example, I have problems writing an email - letters appear on the screen a few seconds (or tens of seconds) after pressing the keys.) The start (both on-screen) button and the button in the keyboard don't work, control touch doesnot work properly, the hotkeys (like alt - tab) does not...

  • A LED indicator that changes from 3 different colors and fades between each

    Hey everybody,

I'm doing a LED indicator which is connected to a scale. The balance will always be between 0 and 20 lb. What I need this LED to do, is start blue or green. About 10 lbs, it must gradually fade to yellow, and at 20, he should do the same thing but in red.

I tried to use a color box with a case structure and a picture wheel, but all that I can get to is also changes in color lasts from one to the other. Appeasement between colors is what kills me.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

I suppose the Boolean value (LED) adds a bit of charm with specular reflection then here's a way to do it.

  • Tricolor LED indicator

I need to create a LED indicator that shows the status of success or failure of a device.  Green it has elapsed, red if it failed and no light if there is no condition defined yet.  The program runs some test and Pass/Fail unit based on the results of the tests.  So what the user should be able to the failure of the device by pressing the LED.  I created a program and attached it below.

The program works as I would like that it but it's my first official VI LabVIEW and I was looking for comments/suggestions/comments or criticism.  I came with seems only a little complicated, is it? Or is there some control already integrated into LabVIEW that I missed.

    Any contribution is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hmm, where to start...

Congratulations on your first program work! Now it's time to get rid of 90% of unnecessary code and correct some rookie mistakes.

    1. It is unatural for switches toggle 'action lock '. Use the buttons.
    2. Use a single loop. The lower loop runs just as fast as the CPU permits, doing nothing most of the time while consuming CPU all available.
    3. All you need is a unique event structure. It can manage all user events.
    4. Since you want 3 colors, use a colorbox made to resemble a LED (howto). Now you need not property nodes at all.
    5. It feels strange to create a mouse down on an indicator event, but if that's what you want...
    6. I don't know why you have the enum as a witness, since you don't use it as an indicator.
    7. Your program is just full of local variables and the properties of the value. You don't need all those.
    8. Simplify!
    9. Simplify!
    10. Now, it's easy to add more features.

Here is a quick sketch. See if it makes sense. Modify if needed.

  • Satellite A500 - 14 k - HARD Drive LED indicator always flashes

    Hello

First sorry for my bad English

    I'm french and I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A500 - 14 k (http://fr.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-A500-14K/1072806)

I have a little problem with this laptop and I don't know if anyone has a solution

The HARD drive light flashes constantly (1 blinking per second) even in safe mode. I checked some forums and I learned he had something to do with the function of autorun cd /dvd CD/DVD recorder.

If the autorun feature is disabled in the windows registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\CDRom and the key value goes from 1 to 0) the flashing disappears, but I can't access my data from CD or DVD (media are marked as empty). However, the audio CD and video DVD work except that they cannot be started automatically.

The same thing happens if the CD/DVD writer is disabled in the control panel Device Manager: the led indicator has a normal activity.

I would like if this problem occurs with other owners of this product and if there is a solution to use normally without this flash recorder

    Thank you

I don't have A500 but A300 and I can't say with certainty why this and what kind of HARD drive activity is ongoing, but what you can try is to remove some pre-installed Toshiba stuff like TEMPRO or pre-installed application antivir.

When the laptop is new days that many updates will be installed and in the background is always a certain activity. Automatic update is disabled?
Try also to remove TEMPRO. This tool is active permanent and search for updates.
Try to optimize the operating system preinstalled and carefully monitor if something will change. I always do after clean operating system installation.

  • change the push button for control or indicator at run time

    Hello

I have a lamp that can turn into power according to the value of a Boolean variable.

There are two ways in which I can control the lamp.

    (1) manual mode in which the button must be used as control to change the value of the Boolean variable.

2 auto mode) in which the value of the variable is changed programmatically. Push button must return to an indicator to indicate the value of the Boolean variable.

I should be able to swith bw manual and automatic mode for the duration and the push button should switch to control and indicator respectively.

For those who might wonder why it's necessary: there is a sign which must be controlled in manual/auto mode. in manual mode, operator will manually use the buttons as controls for updating the control variables, in auto mode, my control algorithm updates the variables, and the Organizer must be able to see which button is pressed and when. If the button should be the control of update of variables in manual mode and must be the indicator of the evolution of the variables in auto mode.

    How is that possible?

A basic VI with three objects are attached, and the Boolean control variable is global.

    Did.

  • Disc stuck inside of the notebook - Pavilion 17-e110dx (F9L87UAR #ABA)

    Hello-

I have a Pavilion 17-e110dx (F9L87UAR #ABA), running Windows 8.1. Today, I put a DVD in my optical drive and when I heard it turns, I ejected the drive, but the drive is now stuck to the INSIDE of my computer... Please help!  The Player opens and closes without any problem... where's my drive?   How can I safely remove the optical drive in order to take out the drive? I don't want to damage the disc, because it contains irreplaceable photos.

Also - I bought this laptop a month ago, refurbished and it is still under warranty.

    Thank you!

It must always be inside the optical drive. It is a closed box. Turn the laptop on the back, open the service Bay and search a single screw with an icon of DVD player next to him. Remove the screws and the DVD player should slide out of the chassis with a little help by behind with a flat blade screwdriver. Pages 47-49 in this manual shows how.

    Manual

Once the disc is out of the chassis, you can use the pin hole to open it with a folded-out paperclip. Completely open and you should be able to see the drive in there to remove it.

  • crack 2 mm on the screen of the HP Pavilion G6 2314AX

    HP Pavilion 2314AX G6

    Windows 7 x 64

1 year warranty HP India ends July 4, 2014 and I don't have more extended warranty 2 years too which expires August 12, 2016.

2 months ago, the computer screen got a very small crack near the left upper bezel and it did not affect to the laptop, I mean that the screen of the laptop still works. And a month ago the laptop suffered 90 b fan error so I had to take it to HP Service Center to replace the fan and they did.

They said I need to replace the screen in the given period of 1 year warranty HP India or otherwise they will not replace the screen during the extended warranty period and also said thay would replace it for free.

Only 45 days are still for the 1 year warranty to expire. I will ask to replace the screen? Replaced screen will be produced original HP? How long they take to a maintenance operation?

Only the broken parts will be repaired or replaced, assuming that there are no involved the accidental damage. As well as broken parts, if a part doesn't work the way it should be, it may be eligible for replacement.

  • additional monitor on the HP pavilion dm1 laptop?

You can run an extra monitor on the HP pavilion dm1 laptop? If so, how?

    Hello

It's very simple, you can buy a new monitor with HDMI (digital) or VGA (analog) port. As mentioned above, the HDMI is the way to go. Make sure that you have an HDMI cable.

Just connect the cable to the monitor & machine, start the machine and

    • Right-click on an empty area of the desktop
    • Select Customize,
    • Select display
    • Select change display settings

You should see 2 screens (1 # & #2). You can select one of the options in the menu drop-down.

    Hello @RALFCOLLO ,

    Welcome to the HP forum!

It is a wonderful place to learn and to find solutions that have helped other people.

I understand that your laptop came with Windows 8.1 and your architect program is not compatible and you need to work.  I regret that it would not work in compatibility mode for you.

You can certainly install XP.  If for any reason any, you need to use the warranty on the laptop, they should remember the laptop factory.

That being said, the first thing to do is create your recovery disk if you don't have already done.

Backup personal data, that you do not want to lose.

You must then change the boot order in the bios.  Configuration of the system BIOS Boot order

You should also disable secure boot. Secure Boot (Windows 8)

Now you should be able to boot from your XP installation disk and complete the installation.

Please be aware that XP is not an operating system on your laptop, HP will have not all recommended drivers.

Download or update of software and drivers for HP computers

    Good luck!
