The image on the screen too large.

For reasons unknown to me, the trcture that is displayed on the screen of my Toshiba laptop now exceeds the size of the picture by a considerable amount and I am constantly move the image left and right up and down using the arrow keys. Can I have unconsciously created this problem since I was a newcomer to this kind of thing from PC. Thanks for help.
Also a friend told me that I should look in the aspect of "Resolution". I tried without success.

Restore point:

http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the above does not resolve the problem:
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
Then:
Change the screen resolution
Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
See you soon.
  • "The result too large."
    I'm trying to analyze a map of 1756, which is 18 x 24 inches. This is a print from an engraved copper plate, so I want to scan at high resolution. My scanner is a Scanner Epson E11000XL - GA Graphic Arts Expression, which is advertised as capable of resolution 2400 x 4800 dpi, but can only scan a document that is more than 12.2 "x 17.2", so I scanned with four quadrants that overlap to 1200 pixels/inch and planned to back them in a single image with Photoshop elements 11. I'm trying to align the two first two quadrants in two layers. However, when I try to move the top layer and align it with the bottom layer, I get this message: "unable to complete command move because the result would be too large." What I am doing wrong?
    Is Adobe sells a version of Photoshop that will handle larger images?
    I don't know about the full Photoshop CS, don't know if it can handle more than 30,000 pixels. If you don't get the right answer in this forum, you could ask the Photoshop one.
    My computer has 16 GB of memory, so I can hardly believe that this image would be a problem for her.
    Items 11 is only a 32-bit application, so it can't handle more than about 3 600 MB of RAM (assuming that your operating system is 64-bit).
    Items 12 for Mac is a 64-bit application, but I don't think that the 30 000 pixel limit has been changed.
  • Windows or Adobe? Why is the window too large Acrobat?
    When I open a pdf file, open the adobe acrobat window, but the top bar appears above the top of the screen; This is why I can't resize or minimize the window. I can't "seize" the window and move it up or down in any direction for that matter. So difficult to work with. Which is the problem, Adobe or Microsoft? Is there a fix or work around it please? TIA... Greg
    Move your cursor on the Acrobat icon on the task bar and right click on the image that is displayed. Click the Move option and you can then move the window with the arrow keys.
  • Size of the file too large on/after export. Takes too long to download on youtube
    Hey everybody! I still have my question answered so I hope you all can help me with this. I intend to upload my videos to youtube, but there is a problem. The size of the file for the aftermath is far too large, so it takes hours and hours to load up on youtube. The size of origin when it's done export is about 2 000 000 KB... I think this is equivalent to 2 GB! It's huge for youtube. Even after that I have to encode it with media encoder, it is still huge. It does not decrease the size of the file about 2 000 000 KB 500 000 KB, which is in my opinion a GB & half fallen out of the original. But I am looking for the size of the file between 300-500 MB when I upload it to youtube. That's about 0.3 to 0.5 GB. I also used the youtube preset in media encoder export. If anyone can help me identify this problem, I would be very happy. Thank you!
    Oh it's you... with the expression of timecode. Well I see that you move on! close to there. your screenshots are the after effects render settings and output Module that are relevant to make a file without loss is to say good for further editing or encoding later. We were talking about before Media Encoder, which is what you should use to encode the files (NOT the Codec Mpeg4 that we see here). I see that you have about 5 minutes. If you want to download on youtube, you can use these recommended settings table: recommended encoding download - YouTube Help Center settings. under flow, you can see that the recommendation for 1080 video is 8Mbps. you can use these settings in the settings of your SOUL or the preset default value of Youtube, which is twice the speed of transmission. 10 seconds of HD1080 at 8Mbps is around 10 MB of files. 5 minutes will be about 300 MB. If you choose the preset, it will be 600 MB. shipment of 300 MB with a standard 1.5 Mbps download speed will take about 30 minutes.
    If you want to encode your file, you have two options:
    1 make your file using a lossless format: Animation of QT for example - then take this file to SOUL and encode using a setting predefined YouTube
    2. make and encode your files at the same time by choosing your publication by clicking on the composition-> add to the queue of the SOUL. Choose the preset of youtube
    in these two options, you can see about your final file size - this is an estimate
    and after that, you can download your file as expected and win the $$$ that you deserve, if people dig
  • resolution of the screen too high - text is tiny - how to change?
    I am a beginner at the hearing, and talk about the past 2.5 hours this weekend in 6.5 minutes of editing. Finished with a massive headache, especially because of the small size of the text in the menus of the screen, etc...
    Someone knows how to change these? I use a pro MS Surface 3 at very high resolution (21160 * 1440) with a 22 "display set to 1680 * 1050 (max for the screen).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated...
    You don't mention what version of hearing that you use, but the high support for PPP poster was added at the hearing and the other Adobe applications last year.  It adds support for the icon and text scaling, which is set at the level of the BONE.  Found a good overview and a report on this topic How to make the Windows Desktop work well on high resolution displays and the difficulty of the blurred fonts , but the packing method is to right-click on your Windows desktop and choose Screen Resolution , and then click the element to make text and other items larger or smaller.  Here, you can select the scale to 125% and 150%.  You will probably need to log on to your Windows account to make the change take effect.
  • Resolution of the screen too big to change it back.
    Follow it even if you cannot select anything on the screen:
    Click Start--> type of race: "desk.cpl" (without the quotes). This will open the display properties do the following:
    1 press once shift and TAB.
    2. press the right arrow to 4 times (that make you to the settings tab)
    3. press ALT + v (key Alt and press S on your keyboard)
    4. press the keypad and press ENTER.
    I hope this helps.
  • I did the screen too small (using about: config) and lost the address bar and all the menus. How to restore the display on a screen size can be used?
    I changed the size of display screen using about: config, as stated in the other answers help. After you use a value of 1.0, such as recommended, I've experimented with other sizes, because it seems small. I have entered a large number by chance (a typing error) and made the display so small that only a bug could read. And I lost all the features: bar address, menus, home, Favorites, settings icons.
    I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, thinking that this would fix it. But the new facility displays the same way: unreadable and no functionality.
    I found instructions on resetting to the factory settings, but cannot perform this task because I have to be able to access the menus to do so.
    Hello PaulaBob, have you changed the value of layout.css.devPixelsPerPx? -You can perform the following steps to change the still 'blind ': value
    1. Open firefox, and then press ctrl + L (this will focus in the address bar)
    2. type of topic: config
    3. Press ENTER twice
    4. type devpix
    5. Press the tab key
    6. Press enter
    7. type 1.0
    8. Press ENTER again and I hope you should be normal visibility now
  • Size of the document too large
    I can only view a document for the entire page to 200%.  How to make a full screen the standard 100%...?
    Hello
    When you create a new document in Photoshop (File > New), you can specify the dimensions and the resolution of the image, as shown below. You can also resize your document after you create by going on Image > Image size.
    Have your document 'perfectly' in your Photoshop window depends on several factors: the size of your application window, the size of your screen and settings, and the resolution of your image. But as mentioned above, the magnification of the image is just a way to display your image - file size you specify really comes down to what you use the image for.
    For example, if I created a 50 x 50 pixel icon for my website, Photoshop will automatically open my document to 100% from my area of the image is much smaller than the resolution of my monitor.
    I can't go to view > on screen which will make my whole image area fill the window of my application, but it will be the 1520% zoom. My image dimensions have not changed, just the magnification of the image.
    Please post again if you have other questions. You can also read This Photoshop help document on the Image size and resolution.
    I reformatted my computer.  When I have my settings, somehow, I changed the font of my windows mail.  All messages are too long in all of my folders, not real email.  I did it at home in Windows mail and I accidentally made to work in Outlook. I don't know how to change the font to the default size. I've tried everything under the format and options and tools.  Can anyone help please?
    Go to tools | Options | Read | Fonts and check that the font size is set to medium.  Also when display a message, select Show. Text size and see if it is set to medium.
  • When opening a new browser from FireFox icon on the traybar all the open, but browsers minumized pop up on the screen too... How to prevent it from appearing? I use Windows 7 Home Premium. Help, please!
    The details are described in my question above. I've even updated twice now hoping the "bug" would be resolved. I asked that same month before but not answer to anyone. I'm so tired of having to minimize all browsers I had open, but minimized in the tray below.
    This problem may be caused by an extension that does not work correctly, maybe the Ask.com toolbar.
    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
  • After installing the latest updates, my screen on large icons, screen too big for my moniter
    the only way of difficulty was to uninstall updates.
    After installing the latest updates, my screen on large icons, screen too large for my moniter the only way of difficulty was to uninstall updates.
    Sounds like something in the update causes a conflict with your video driver or change the resolution settings.
    The first thing to do to solve the problem is to try to install each of the updates one at a time instead of let Windows Update do several updates together.  If you're lucky, the problem can not ride again.  If so, you'll know at least update is the cause of the problem.
    If the problem persists, try right click on an empty area of your desktop and select properties to open the display properties dialog box.  Select the settings tab.  Look to see if the screen is correctly identified and if the resolution seems correct.  If you spot something wrong, change to the correct setting.  If everything looks correct, you can try to change the resolution to see if that can solve the problem.
    You can also check the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card to see if they have an updated display driver.  Updates of the operating system only sometimes work correctly if you have the latest version of the drivers for the various components.
    If all else fails, you can uninstall the update one that is causing the problem and mark do not show you this update again in Windows updates.   Doing so will be considered a last resort - especially if the update in question is one of the security updates.
