Resolution of the screen too big to change it back.

I changed the resolution of the screen via the control panel - display - settings - advanced - general.  The police is now huge; This is why, when I try to restore, I can't at this place or on the screen longer.  (It is a computer of mercury used as an augmentative device for a person with autism, the touch screen works as well as the mouse).  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Follow it even if you cannot select anything on the screen:

Click Start--> type of race: "desk.cpl" (without the quotes). This will open the display properties do the following:

1 press once shift and TAB.

2. press the right arrow to 4 times (that make you to the settings tab)

3. press ALT + v (key Alt and press S on your keyboard)

4. press the keypad and press ENTER.

Here you will get the screen changed resolution Yes click on it and then later, you can modify as you wish.

I hope this helps.

  • resolution of the screen too high - text is tiny - how to change?

I am a beginner at the hearing, and talk about the past 2.5 hours this weekend in 6.5 minutes of editing. Finished with a massive headache, especially because of the small size of the text in the menus of the screen, etc...

Someone knows how to change these? I use a pro MS Surface 3 at very high resolution (21160 * 1440) with a 22 "display set to 1680 * 1050 (max for the screen).

You don't mention what version of hearing that you use, but the high support for PPP poster was added at the hearing and the other Adobe applications last year.  It adds support for the icon and text scaling, which is set at the level of the BONE.  Found a good overview and a report on this topic How to make the Windows Desktop work well on high resolution displays and the difficulty of the blurred fonts , but the packing method is to right-click on your Windows desktop and choose Screen Resolution , and then click the element to make text and other items larger or smaller.  Here, you can select the scale to 125% and 150%.  You will probably need to log on to your Windows account to make the change take effect.

How can I increase the resolution in items 11 4 k screen makes all the tiny toolbars.  increased screen pc at 200%, the rest is ok

    Hi meril,

Screen 4K resolution is quite new technology compared to Photoshop elements 11, so there is no way to increase the size of the interface.

If you upgrade Photoshop element 13, you can scale up the UI factor up to 200%

You can use the download link above and use the trial version for PSE 13 to test it on your system before you go for any purchase.

  • Why I can not change the resolution of the screen on the comments?

    Greetings,

I used VMware Player to create a RHEL 5.5 on Windows 7 host. The resulting virtual machine has a screen 1440 x 900, but when I run the screen is 800 x 600. With the help of the utility comments to change the resolution of the screen only gives the choice of 800 x 600 and 640 x 400. Note that the installation of comments has been made using 'I'll install the operating system later'. If this option is not used and that the guest is installed either using the 'easy' option or the 'Advanced', this problem does not exist. Anyway, there is a big difference between a genberated of comments using the 'easy' or 'Advanced' option and the generated with the option "I will install later. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Nicolas

VMware tools are installed in the comments? Next to important things, they contain the video driver that allows to change the resolution.

I use outlook express 6 and I can receive an email of great but when I try to send it after making the necessary changes, i.e. the signature I get the message "too big for the server" responses I've seen so far tell me absolutely nothing

Well, the error message says it all.  "" too big for server".

There is a limit imposed by your ISP/mail server, which you don't mention.

Not only the servers have limits on the size, this is not necessarily the same for incoming and outgoing messages.

If you say you use the e-mail program and the name of your e-mail server, maybe we can shed light on the more specific issue, but the problem is definitely with them and not Outlook Express.

P.S. I'm not sure what you mean by 'signature'

  • Windows 7 changes the resolution of the screen at the start of what I had saved

I recently bought a new monitor, which is a 22 AOC. I installed the drivers so that the computer detects hardware. Then I go to the screen resolution set at 1920 x 1080, that says that Windows is recommended. I then choose to preserve settings, then press OK.

When I then restart the computer, the resolution changes right after the login screen to the old 1 of 1440 x 900 (which is the resolution of the screen of the old monitor).

I tried researching this problem, but nobody seems to have exactly the same problem as me. Help! :)

This problem also occurs when the monitor is turned off and turned back on again (I have my pc set to automatically turn off the monitor after 20 minutes).

I had this problem since upgrading to windows 7 and it is very frustrating when you have to re - align icons and others whenever you turn on the monitor / PC back on.
Fortunately, I found the solution after a few dedicated google searches, but this method requires you to modify your registry so please be very careful.
    Step #1:
Open your Start menu and in the search bar type in regedit and press to enter. UAC will pop up asking if you want to allow this program to make changes to the computer, simply press Yes.
    Step #2:
    In the left pane of regedit , you will see a list of registry keys;
-Click on the small white arrow next to expand this key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG .
-Develop System > CurrentControlSet > control > VIDEO

    Step #3:
Now you should see one or more keys with random numbers and letters, for example my video key is {F92BFB9B-59E9-4B65-8AA3-D004C26BA193}.
If you develop these keys, you will see another key in each of these named 0000

Just click on these keys to 0000 to see their values, you are looking for one that has multiple values, for example Attach.RelativeX, Attach.RelativeY, etc.
The appropriate key 0000 should also have a child key (which is the registry of your monitor settings, yay!) and mine is named Mon12345678 but yours may be different.

    Step #4:
Now for the changes of the registry, 0000 and the keys Mon12345678 with the same parameters and values, I changed the two of them are identical. I'm not entirely sure of what a windows 7 uses, but it does not hurt to change both just to be sure.
    In order to change a registry key values;
-Right click on the value name and select Edit...
    - where it says Base of select the decimal option
-Enter the new numeric value, you want to enter in the data value: text field
    The parameters to change are;
    Attach.RelativeX - it's your screen X resolution, mine is set to 1360
Attach.RelativeY - it's your screen resolution is, mine is set to 768
DefaultSettings.XResolution -it's your screen resolution by default of X, mine is set to 1360
DefaultSettings.YResolution -it's your default screen resolution, mine is set to 768
    Step #5:
You're done! Click on file > output and your registry settings will be saved automatically.
    * Restart the system notes * A may be required before these settings take effect.

Hope this helps everyone who has faced this problem!

  • Change the resolution of the screen and the screen went black

Then I tried to change the resolution of the screen and the screen went black.  I tried to restart, plug in my HDMI port on my TV... Nothing.  So I went with a system refresh (yes I'm sure it was a refresh and not a restore).

The fact that there is no integrated procedure to detect the moment where that happens and return to the old resolution is annoying enough...  But now after that choose the system update and it would be only to reset the settings to default back and keep all the files (as he said it would be), I am extremely frustrated to know that it has deleted ALL my programs.  Program E-v-e-r-y.  This means that Chrome, Firefox, jGrasp, AutoCAD, all my programs Microsoft Office, all my Adobe stuff, my Visual Studio and so much more that I'm not naming.

I REALLY hope there is a place where they were stored so I don't have to reinstall everything manually.  If not, then wow, Microsoft... We finished.

Unfortunately a refresh as he said, only maintains personal records (program data), the data can be located in the "in the"Windows"folder windows.old folder normally C /: Drive, all modern apps should be kept."

All programs of office/legacy (Chrome, Firefox, jGrasp, etc.) need to be relocated from their original sources

Keep all of your programs, personal files (data), settings, the best option is to create a "Disk Image" - see link below for info.

  • Resolution of the screen - police too small when the value of resolution 1920 x 1080

    original title: screen resolution

Got a new laptop which has 1920 x 1080 screen resolution that I paid extra for.  However, when I keep this setting on any web site text size/font is so small that it is very difficult to read.  I tried all the plugins to font size, but that did not help.  The only way I can get readable (for me) the text is to reduce the 1360 x 768 resolution which totally defeats the purpose of getting a screen high resolution.  Is there another way other than the setting screen resolution, such that it can be Pascal outside and still provide a readable text?  I don't want bugs like the magnifying glass or similar devices.

When you increase the resolution of the screen, things are smaller. Basically, the only way to get great results even at higher resolutions is to have a bigger screen. Magnifying glass, zooms and more police sizes allow you just to settle on the edges of this kit, you must make the best compromise.

I use 1920 x 1080 and I have my text size the value 125% (and IE9 = 200% zoom), but I have a 24 "display which is much bigger than a computer screen.

  • Recommendations for the resolution of the screen on the W510

    Hi people,

Recommendations on the resolution of the screen on the W510 - HD or HD +?

    And why?

    TIA,

    SD

It really depends on your use.  I went with the HD + (1600 x 900), because the graphics card is powerful enough run games of high quality on this resolution and it provides decent realestate to make programming and another office on productivity.  I tried a HD (1280 x 800) screen at work and it is very small and useless for real work, but if you are hard to see or don't use it to calculate the light, he would serve well.  The FHD (1900 x 1080) display provides a lot of realestate, if you can read the tiny text and do a lot of business development type and graphic design works, more multitouch features that can be intreguing there, but I think the screen is a little too big to play video games.  That's my thought.

  • I want to block the resolution of the screen

My son is always change the resolution of the screen. I'll put the 800 * 600 screen resolution which is good for my eyes. I want to block the resolution 600 X 800 with a password. Is there a method to achieve this? kindly help me.

Create a separate user for your son to use when it connects to your computer.  Make sure the user a user 'restricted' or 'limited '.  I don't think that limited users can change the screen resolution.  Also, of course, you will need to put a password on your account so that it cannot open a session as long as you and make the change.  If your son is pretty computer savy, you can also password for the built-in Administrator account.

Only on the PC, I met a problem on the updates of Windows above.

Any ideas out there?  Another issue similare on the same PC for the same time, it's that my IE 8 is not upward with the stored homepage (my Yahoo - I keep having to register for Yahoo every time).

    Hi crisbar45,

    1. are you able to change the resolution of the screen after starting?

    2. you receive an error message?

    3. which internet Web site explore view when you open it?

    Method 1

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that you manually download and install the updated drivers for the graphics card on the computer by visiting the card manufacturer or computer manufacturer's Web site check if it helps.

    Hello

You can still use the ENTER key to OK, do not click OK with the mouse cursor.

There are a few things you can try:

    Change the resolution of the screen;

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

If that fixed it, go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.

Then try to change the screen resolution.

Or do a system restore to before that happened.

    See you soon.

  • Having problems with the resolution of the screen from the 1st upgrade.

Hello, I have a tower running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 and upgraded to Service Pack 2 of Windows Vista Business, and he had problems while improving the pc. I lived the degrading resolution and become more pixel and color has begun to degrade. It didn't happen until I updated. and now the upgrade was a success and the resolution of the screen was horrible. Color is distorted, and some icons are not yet. The resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and the color was at its lowest level. I changed the higher color bit and the graphic resolution is improved, but the size of the screen was always the same. I tried to put my monitors resolution which is 1280 x 720 pixels, but when I put it on this resolution, the quality and graphics began to become distorted and never changed size. then, once I applied it, it go back to the lower resolution and color. And I updated my computer during upgrade. Is there anyway that I can fix this?
