the iTunes song is in the album bad

An album that I recently bought has all the same songs but one in the same album. A song is in her own album, for some reason any. I checked the info for two albums and the info seems to be the same. I looked online for answers, but I couldn't find anything useful.

See if one of these two methods help

  • Why iTunes 12.5 play my library of songs together, instead of playing the album from the chosen song

When I get to the album, and and select a song in an album, itunes plays all songs in the library, instead of just playing this specific album, beginning of the song I've selected.

Double-click the first track you want to play instead of use the blue play button.

  • How is it iTunes puts all the songs in the album with the same name now?

I'm trying to give my CD into my iTunes since I got a new computer.  I did a few times before without problem.  Most of my CD is the most successful.

So now I put in 'Tom Petty Greatest Hits' and 'Tim Mcgraw Greatest Hits', I would put the Tim Mcgraw songs would go into Tom Petty album since they are both titled "Greatest Hits".  While I have to manually delete the songs from the album that I just put in, change the name of the album and re import again so that they merge.

Why iTunes do all of a sudden? I never had a problem like this before.

If the Album artist fields are different, enemy iTunes actually treat it as the same album, but they appear together in some points of view and sort orders.

You do not have to re - import the CD. Right click on the Album, or al, it of titles, select information and change regardless of the fields you want. In your case the artist Album tag.

In iTunes > Preferences > General > automatically the CD track names recover from the Internet is checked on.

  • iTunes Store, songs were added to the album

    Hello

I bought an album on iTunes, handwritten Shawn Mendes (Deluxe), when it first came out.  I saw that they have recently added a new song on the album and it's still the same price.  Is it possible that I can get this song if I already bought it before they added a new track?

    Thank you

Depends on if it has been added to the same version of the album you bought, or whether a separate version, and therefore, a separate purchase. Only the track and this album, show in the purchased item (account > bought on the current iTunes menu option) for download?

  • iTunes sorts only the new songs from the album artist; Cannot select multiple artists

I had this problem for awhile now.  Whenever I have add a new song to my library, it will sort as a new artist, even if I already have this artist.  For example, I'll add a new Bayside song to my library, and despite the fact that I already have two albums of Bayside, the new song will sort itself separately from him, leaving me with two Baysides.  The only way to fix it is to add the album artist in both the novel and the stuff I already had.  It's incredibly frustrating, especially since iTunes allow me to select several artists both in the artist's view (although I can select several songs and albums - this seems to be a problem only when the view is the sidebar, as in the views of artist, Genre and composer).

Help with fixing a problem (preferably both, although) it would be appreciated.

I am currently using iTunes 12.3.2.

It's a response of turingtest2 to a very similar to your question.  Maybe this will help.

12 iTunes keeps having the same artist twice in the artist column

Using the view songs grab all the tracks by an artist of the album given that you are having problems with and then read the information. Tab sort add set Album artist & artist album, X, click OK, and then return to . If you synchronize your content on a non - iOS such as classical iPod device, then you must also make sure artist is constant in the whole album. I propose generally invited and artists featured in the names of individual songs.

  • iTunes for PC 12: order of the song in the Album?

I find a problem with recently installed iTunes 12 for PC.

I have a lot of albums containing several symphonies or concertos. I would like to (movements) songs in each album to play in order. If an album contains 23 Concerto of Mozart followed by Haydn Concerto for 5, I just want to play Mozart Concerto 23 movements 1,2,3, then Haydn Concerto 5 movements 1,2,3, etc..

Instead of this, recently installed iTunes 12.3.2.35 mix songs: movement 1 Mozart, Haydn 3 movement, movement Mozart 2. I have found no way to disable this option regardless of documentation; in principle, I have shuffle off.

This problem started with iTunes 12. So, how I can be:

-Configure iTunes 12 to play songs in the albums in order?

    - or return to iTunes 11 without destroying my my library organization?

(I have no intention of creating hundreds of playlists to work around this problem, instead, I happen to non-Apple products).

Activate the menu with Ctrl + B if hidden bar.

Use the option menu control > Shuffle > Off.

Use a view of your library which is friendly album, for example the view of songs sorted as Album of the artist, growing.

If the problem persists, please post a screenshot of an album of problem and the reading order.

After you create a new playlist in iTunes, every song has the cover of the album and no box on the left side. How can I remove from the work and recover the box? TIA

You can change the appearance of a selection by clicking on "reading list" in the upper right of the iTunes window. The desired view is probably "tracks"

  • Alphabetically when you play the song on the album

When I chose to play a song on an album, the next high feature shows the songs in alphabetical order, instead of the next song in the album. This happened after I updated iTunes to the latest version. 12.5.1

How to disable this option? It's incredibly annoying.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a similar problem... When you say alphabetical ordered song it is for your entire library or in the album. I have a problem where he plays the next alphabetical song in my library...

    If I have:

    (a) play a song and let it run all the way, the next piece seems to be the next song in alphabetical order in my entire library regardless of the artist/album.

    (b) if I start a song playing and press the "skip" button, the next piece seems to be the next song in alphabetical order in my entire library regardless of the artist/album too.

I turned random and stopped playing the song seems to have been fixed, as if the random parameter was reversed on is off and visa versa... Although random shouldn't be alphabetical?

  • How can I make the individual work for each song on a compilation album of show when I browse my playlists?

I get a lot of my music from Soundcloud where individual songs are released by artists often with none of the albums.

So, when you add these songs on iTunes I the name of the album for each of them SoundCloud despite the fact that each of them have different names track/artists/works of art.  When I select the option to indicate that the song is part of a compilation album, even if the individual work remains in each song and shows when I play the song, looking at my playlists, songs from my compilation album of SoundCloud will only show album art compilation rather than the individual works for each song.  How can I my iTunes will show that each individual work?

You can't while retaining spacing as part of this same album. If you want each art individual to show then tracks them to a unique combination of the album title and album artist. If the tracks are underway on an older iPod then the tracks on the album must be unique.

If they are several CD sets, you will also need to enter the appropriate information in the fields of number of disk.  If they are not a set of multiple CDs that you must always make sure any vacuum or disc number fields are properly defined.

  • Songs from the same album are organized in different versions of the album

Several songs on the album are purchased on iTunes so when weve deviated our own music library on tends them to be several versions of each album it appears each with different songs on the album. The problem still persists when viewing music on any of our apple devices, even when you look at the 'albums' category there are several versions of many albums that have only 1 or 2 songs each. We tried to manually change how the songs should be sorted and nothing seems to work?

If iTunes displays multiple instances of an artist or an album then generally what works is to select all the associated tracks and use read information to add say end X for each of the areas that the slopes have in common:

    • For an album. Album, artist of the Album and artist (if the artist is the same for all tracks) *.
    • For an artist; Album artist (artist and unless there is the comments/featured artists listed that should not be changed)

Apply the change which merges things together, then remove the excess characters. Occasionally, it can help to close and reopen iTunes between two renaming operations. Part of a compilation should also be set in a consistent manner.

    * If the titles must be synchronized to a non - iOS device, there should be a common artist and/or album must be defined as a Compilation.

Use the view of songs and display fields, Album, genre, Album, Album artist, genre artist Album, artist and genre artist side by side to see you whether or not it is necessary to change the artist and if sorting values could be the cause of additional problems. See grouping in albums, titles for help if necessary.

Another tip duplicates stubborn reality. At one point, I had three batches of various artists in the view of artists in my iTunes game library that wouldn't meet usual backward X treatment. What I found worked was adding the final X, but with each group, iTunes wanted to separate start typing a value and let iTunes autocomplete of the Var... for various artists. Collection of AutoComplete lists seemed to work when the full value of collage/montage does not.

  • Songs from the album split into separate albums/artists, even with the same name

I have three songs from the album, all by the same artist, but for a reason, that they aren't bringing together under the same album or artist on iTunes. All the songs are listed separately under different artists even if the name of the artist (and album) is exactly the same:

The same artist and album has duplicated only three times.

I made sure all the info of the song are exactly the same as here:

And sorting is the same too:

So I don't know what else to do.

Y at - it a script or other workaround to change the default view in iTunes for the SONGS rather than the Album or view Playlist?

    All the solutions out there?

My guess is that there is something odd about these songs MP3 files, iTunes does not like (and also affects playback on the iPhone).  No matter how it is added to the iTunes library, or through your music to iCloud library (for unloading), the problem persists.  When the song is, iTunes doesn't have a problem with the AAC to Apple Server version because it's a totally different file.  But if you convert to AAC format using iTunes, iTunes uses the MP3 file of source with this problem.

If you open the MP3 file using QuickTime Player (right click file and Open with-> QuickTime Player), he plays the song all along.  If so, use the command in the menu bar (for QuickTime Player) to the file-> export-> iTunes.  The song is converted to AAC and added to your iTunes library.  See if this version is played throughout in iTunes.
