  You may need to check the game settings to get the keys to work the way you want. Also if the game uses 16-bit command prompt which may not work with Windows Vista as operating system is advanced.

  Alternatively, you can try to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it gives you the functionality for the keyboard. Follow the link to install any program in compatibility mode.

  Looks like you're using a laptop and this would happen if the default audio device is not set to internal computer speakers.

  (a) open the Control Panel.

  (b) double click on the sounds and Audio devices icon.

  (c) click the Audio tab and under audio playback, select the audio device on the laptop.

  (d) click apply and restart the computer, check to see if it helps.

  Method 2

  I've seen other people talk about that here on this site, and in all cases so far, it's the "fn lock" or "function" on their keyboard (usually a laptop keyboard).  The zero key is used for anything else until you disable the lock feature.

  According to the Association, only one paired device provides actually entered in the computer.
