  I'll try not to waffle too guys, so here's...

  Right my PC running Windows XP. I also have itunes installed on my PC (I have an iphone 4). Upward until yesterday my iphone and itunes were working well, (once I plugged my iphone in the itunes USB port recognised that my iphone was plugged and synchronization was fine etc.).

  But now when I plug my iphone to PC to sync with itunes, I get a pop up box on the lower right part of the screen that reads... "USB not recognized one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize."

  After visiting about 5 different sites now "Ways to solve this problem", believe it or not, I still have the problem bloody! :(

  A site proposed shutdown PC and unplug it from the power supply, then plug it back start-up and back... this as did not work!
  The other they say that I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs then restart... it did not work either.
  Tried a system restore
  Tried to reinstall itunes

  When I check the names USB in Device Manager, there is one who reads unknown device. I am literally pulling what's left of my hair now.   Usually, this works... but can be very dangerous, unless you have a PS/2 keyboard.

  I also assume that you have tried all other USB ports on the computer. tried a verified USB device (for example, a flash drive) in the USB usually when you plug in your iPhone. and I tried your iPhone in another computer (I know it's rare for an error message Windows really means what he says, but sometimes the material lacks).

  You can uninstall all USB devices that do not exist as follows:

  • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)

  • Start the Device Manager by typing the following in the same command prompt window

  devmgmt.msc

  • In Device Manager, click the view menu and select "Show hidden devices".
  • You should see a category just after "Non-Plug and Play drivers" named "other devices."  Chances are that there will be a big exclamation yellow mark beside it.  When you expand the "other devices" you should see several non identified "USB devices."  Uninstall all this.
  • Reboot (with the iPhone NOT connected).

  You can connect a USB keyboard to verify if these buttons would serve.
  If Yes, then your internal keyboard is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.
  A Toshiba ASP in your country should be able to help. And security seems to be still valid so the replacement must be done free of charge.

  My bike Turbo G suddenly crashed last night, while I was working with Photos of Google. The phone is about 1 month, purchased from Flipkart. Here are the questions that have emerged all of a sudden:

  1. No function button Home and the right button. They do not work.
  2. No quick drop-down settings menu. All of a sudden is not working.

  This happens when the system: OS crashes. U go to Recovery Mode and then choose Wipe Cache partition and after wiping Cache Partition, choose the device to reboot.

  Wipe Cache partition will delete your personal files or anything like that. Erase all dump and error and cache generated by the Android operating system.

  Problem on VISTA ULTIMATE 32.  I have all the latest patches. It's a laptop ASUS M70. Default email course is Windows Mail.

  In the Windows Photo Gallery, when I select a photo, then click on "messages" then that nothing happens.
  In Solution Explorer, select a JPG photo, and then I can either 1) click on "E-mail" or 2) via the context menu, select "send to" followed by "Recipient" and appears "attach files" box that allows me to resize the jpg file. If I want to, I can cancel it with success. However, if I select "join" then it shows "Preparing to send" and just hangs there.  If I cancel (after say 1 to 10 minutes), it hangs there doing nothing with the message «Cancel...» "indefinitely.    If I cancel the application "attach files" in the Task Manager, it lowers the Explorer.

  What is going on? What I want to do is ' send to ' 'recipient' some resizing photos (via the context menu in the Explorer). There is no problem to send other files e.g. *.mp3.

  As it works fine in safe mode then there could be some third party software installed on the computer are contradictory in normal mode, I would say that you clean the clean boot procedure and check.

  To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Perform the check and the clean boot if you have the problem.
  1. click on Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.
  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.
  5. click on OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click restart.
  7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  texhusky Hello, normally these problems are caused by a security/firewall software which does not recognize and therefore blocks the new versions of firefox. If please delete all the rules of the program for firefox to your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

  No doubt you are using the same machine and ISP but currently using another browser apparently IE8. First, clear the browser cache and temporarily disable any security software.

  I am at a loss with my situation. Keyboard of my laptop Lenovo Y510, inductive keys/multi-media keys to touching, the volume and multi-media-Equalizer spend everything stopped working. I'm able to use a keyboard and an external USB mouse, and as of about an hour there was the keyboard works again. The inductive keys have power and the light up when pressed but do nothing.

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the touchpad. I know not what pilot control keys inductive so have not tried this option. I've heard say that installing SP1 (I'm running Vista 32 bit) can solve this problem, but have not tried. I have also heard that after use the cables that connect the mouse and the keyboard to the motherboard may squirm let go, but I don't know how to get it and check.

  I passed my warranty and would like to resolve this problem. I have built desktop computers and made repairs, but laptops are a new area for me. Need all the help I can get.

  More software Lenovo Energy Management usually controls these keys. Install it and you should be good to go!

  I just downloaded the WMM 2.6 and that crashes now in the same way.  WHY?
   
  When I try an import with the ASUS media and go to the folder that contains these files .mswmm files are not yet recognised by the Vista Movie Maker as being multimedia files, to see I choose all files. When I try to open them up to this moment there, I get the following error message:
   
  The file C:\Users\Don and Kim\Videos\Africa video Project\Drafts\Welcome Home\Clip 01_1\WH than Clip1.MSWMM cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file.
   
  I tried to find the codecs but was put off by the fact that they were not genuine Microsoft and do not want to download something that will just make things worse.  Why should I have to download the risky codecs when I'm a real MS client?

  You try to read the MSWMM file?

  A .mswmm file is not a movie... it's a project file. If you double click the .mswmm file it can open Movie Maker, but unless you have imported all the sources files it will not be usable.
