• Use the 2nd column for the label data

  This should be easy. Online help for the numbers shows an example under Add graphics > adjust figure brands and labels.  My table is a simple 2-d column chart. In a single column, I have the weight in pounds, and in the second column, I have a date. When I have only the weight column selected in the form of data, I get a graph that is almost perfect, but there is no date label. When I try to include date data, I have a reverse relationship X and Y. Once I selected a cell as reference data, it doesn't have any way to deselect. What I want to do is chart weight against date and have the date appear as a label.

  We intend to use four color cameras (more probably Firewire) to inspect the right label presence (attached image), Date / batch Code (most likely a match and no OCR/OCV), liquid level and presence of Cap. The speed of the conveyor is 240 bottles per minute (ongoing). As the bottles are rotating, there is no fixed orientation of the label. Thus, we intend to capture 4 frames on each trigger, to assemble and to inspect for a suitable Date and batch number, correct label, liquid level and correct the blockage. Good level of liquid is always above the label, so it shouldn't be a problem.

  We need a software / hardware recommendations for the cost of work effectively. For example, can VBAI as well as NI EVS-1464RT work for this application, or do we need to Labview and the Vision Development Module? We have the best price / performance for this application.

  Any comments / suggestion should be highly appreciated.

  VBAI does not include the steps to assemble the images, I suggest you LabVIEW and the Vision Development Module development.  If you want to use the EVS-1464RT, you will also need a copy of LabVIEW RT.  Note: the Vision Development Module can be purchase as a bundle with LabVIEW RT, see http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/207699.

  Another way to achieve your goal of a 360 degree view of the bottle would be to use a lens Opto pericentrique Engineering, see http://www.opto-engineering.com/pericentric-lenses.html.  This would allow you to use a camera.

  I suggest you to test the issue on another computer.

  I suggest you to check if you are able to display the date in the preview before printing. If you get the date in the preview, then the Web site itself might be including the date. I suggest you to check with the seller for more precision.

  This table is then added to a dataprovider that is then added to a drop-down list.

  My question is how can I find the text of a certain element of the DataProvider data table?

  I can't do this: dpColours [0] .text to what I do? I want to retrieve the text 'Black' of the dpColours of the table.

  just like how you add the 'label' property to the table, you can access the same way. you had the right idea, just need to change the .text to .label and it goes out of the label 'black' property that you inserted:

  dpColours[0].label
  

  also if you want to access the actual data provider, do you the same way. say if the data provider name is "PD" you acceding by:

  dp.data[0].label

  I've just updated to 12.4.0.119 and can no longer add Release Date for a TV show.  When I go to "Get Info" and type the release Date, it allows me to enter a valid date, but as soon as I have the label off the field it emerges by itself.  If I enter the date and click on 'Ok', the date is not recorded.

  I had this same problem Windows 10. Just tested it on iTunes/Mac 12.4.0.119 - this platform will not yet you allow to select the release Date field to make an entry.

  It is a major issue, as AppleTV allow no sorting replacing television programs other than by Release Date.

• Update the text of the label on a XControl via a property

  Hi all

  I write various programs to help with the debugging of embedded systems. I often need to convert a value to byte into pieces and then show which of these bits are true/false. This is easily done by using the convert-bool-Bay VI. However, I would like to create a control that will allow me to display a name for each field of bits - a bit like the way records are described in the data sheets. The control must be a bunch of buttons, and then I can show the bits are true/false, and use the label of the button to hold the name of bit field.

  I went from one way to the creation of this feature in an XControl as this seemed the best. My group of updates to Boolean values correctly according to the value of byte brought into control. However, I use a property to set the Boolean control label text (names of bit fields). My debugging shows that the text is assigned to the label of the control, but the control panel never changes. I tried synchronous updates, and by forcing a new drawing of the Panel using DeferPanelUpdates does not.

  I would be grateful for any help on this - VI and XControl demonstrating the issue is attached.

  Probably, because you try to change the text of the label.  Try to change the text of the legend...

  For each boolean, choose "visible elements of legends '...

  You can think to use a different data structure.  If they are all the same type of data, perhaps a table works best for you.

  Another method would be to use the attributes of variant to hold the items of your cluster.  You can search for items in a variant of name it.

  I just got a pavilion DV6-7010us... I have always used the INSERT key when I copy data and insert into a message, chat screen, document... this computer has a key of INS/PRT SC.  I can't get the key to insert data into almost anything.   How do you use this key?  or is there another way to insert data that you copied, into something... ???  I'm used to use Shift + Insert key on my old laptop.    Right now, I try to keep in my mind to use the mouse to insert data... but would like to be able to use the key on the laptop keyboard.

  You must identify your laptop for each of us to have a clue as to what looks like your keyboard. There are so many models of HP to be precise.

  Remove the battery and look for the label that says p/n. Post this string alphanumeric together here. It is your HP product number. G6 or dv6 and dv7 are all just model numbers.

  You can also do this by using Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. That's what most people use to copy and paste in most applications and productivity programs.

  Because Windows 7 has the capture tool, I didn't even use the Ins or Prt Scr.

  If this is not possible, I am open to other ways to address this problem that don't involve not copy paste cases of event for each line (since it is also prohibitive for the frequency at which cases are changed).

  You can use the node property of the object button called "holder".  What it does is return a reference to the object owner of this button, in this case the cluster.  Then you can convert this reference to a more specific class of the cluster.  Then use a property node to read the label.text.

• Repaint a page to update all the labels inside

  Hi, I have a homepage inside a NavigationPane. When I have something by using the drop down menus in a Settings Page and I change pop() Settings Page, I will return to the main Page, but the main Page (stored in QSettings) values are not updated.

  How can I force it to redraw itself using the values updated the Home Page Settings page? Or do I really have to define exhaustively the text of each label properties in the main Page?

  I just find a workaround that does the job:

  -In the NavigationPane, create an onTopChanged signal handler

  -This signals Manager gives you a reference page to the new page that is located on the 'top' of the battery

  -Call page.refresh () in the onTopChanged

  Now when I go 'back' in the navpane, the previous page reflects the changes that have been made right. This works for me since I am committed to SQLite and my "Refresh" works just pull the latest data from the DB.
