I know the commands 'get-vmhost' and 'get-basic-test name', but cannot link together...

You could tie these together like this 2 cmdlets
Get-VmHost | where -filter {($_ | Get-Baseline -Name "test") -ne $null}
You ask all ESX hosts and then you filter the resulting list.
The filter passes only VmHosts with the base line 'test '.

1 childEntity - list of entities
2 childType in-kind folder ('Virtual Machine', 'Data center'...)
Is it possible to write a constraint specifying which list of childEntities I need using childType in.
Example: Make Me childEntities that has a 'Host' and 'Cluster' childType but childType in doesn't have these two types.
In addition, at this level, I could see the 'Associated objects' tab which has all the information I need, such as Clusters and Cluster tab hosts and host tab respectively.
So, I think its possible to get this list to vCenter folder level.
I have attached a screenshot representing the need. Kindly ignore the Conventions of naming in there since I edited the example comes with the sdk program.

1. How can I get the host and Cluster (table of relationship) list to vCenter folder level or even at the level of the vise.global.view?
2. once I get this list, is it possible for me to manipulate that list and send the new list to IU?
3. is there another way to do the same thing without the help of model classes and mediator?

It is not possible to obtain all hosts a folder specific vCenter from a single query Data Manager. You need to get the list of centers of data first and then get a list of data center hosts.
It is best to make these repeated requests to the java level and return only the list that you want to the user interface.
You can get all the objects in the host of the system with a simple query using a constraint with targetType = 'HostSystem', but you will need to eliminate those from other vCenter servers. Require a script to the list of files with sizes on all data stores in a cluster

Please be gentle, im not new to Vmware, but new to powershell/powercli and need your help.
cli power can make or y at - it tools available that will do that for me?
I need to generate a list of all the files of the virtual machine in all stores of data available for cluster and their sizes to go with it.
I am mainly interested in the .log files and vmdk files, but I don't mind if it lists all.

I came across a problem recently. I wanted to be able to use drag - and list controls dropEnabled property and (on the same canvas) use the functionality of drag-and-drop automatic implemented other components (in this case, a combination of movable labels that can drag a group component). I wanted the labels to be moved in the entire screen, but only fall on the part of the Group (NOT the list). The items in the components list were supposed to be interchangeable between the lists in the set of properties dragEnabled and dropEnabled to true. The problem is that when I drag the labels of the groups on the lists a null #1009 object reference error is thrown because the list does not try to calculate the index fall for labels. I know that I could work around the problem by setting dropEnabled = false on the lists and implement drag - move by hand, but I hope that both variants of drag-and-drop coexist in a spirit of flexibility.

When you delete something on a spark list you will need to provide a dragSource not null in the format 'itemsByIndex', if you change your code to something like this, it should work:

So, you want multiple copies of a few lines. In other words, if a value or rnk (RANK is not a column name right) is missing in a given id you want to with the next highest rnk and the same id line repeated 2 or maybe even several times. All copies will be identical, except that rnk will have the missing numbers, and the value will be 0 on all additional copies.
A way to do that is to join your table (or something very similar to it, as in the example below) to a Meter of Table , which is a table (or a result set, in this example) counts 1, 2, 3,... up to however many copies may be required.

RANK is a keyword from Oracle. (It is the name of a built-in function). If you specify your own columns of RANK, it will confuse people reading the code, and it can result in compiler errors, too.
ID is also an Oracle keyword. To be sure, you can use another name, such as grp_id, instead of id.
It is best not to name your own objects with any name of fArrondi in v$ reserrved_words.keyword. -

I'm all new to SSL VPN, and I am a bit lost... I tried to get SSL VPN to go for our company and we have been asked to deploy a completely clientless solution that will provide access to our network based on subnets. Is this possible with the chip-tunnels? I tried a few different configurations and it doesn't seem to work. It works with ANYCONNECT but we have to go without a client. They feel that we can do without customer access to destination networks. Is this possible?

That's what you can do with a solution without a client:
- Allow access to web resources (using the url list)
- Allow access to the application of TCP based (using java-port forwarding or smart tunnels)
If you have to give access to all subnets, then you will need to go full tunnel effect which is Anyconnect SSL.

- Go to Control Panel > network and sharing Center .
- Click manage network connections .
- Right click on the USB connection.
- Click on Properties .
- Click sharing .
- Put a checkmark in the Internet connection sharing box.

I created a template driven Input text with a list of values and display the page and works very well. (List of values to an attribute in a VO and display of this attribute as LOV)
My requirement here, is when the user enter something in the inputtext LOV and clicks, then pop LOV should open with result of defined values.
These defined values of result should be extracted from the operator 'Contains'.
How to get there?
I created a viewcriteia using the ' contains ' operator, but its giving the result set with the operator 'starts by .

I was unable to try it, because criteriaItems list contains nothing other than '{} '.

Illustrator CC 2015, need to draw the line after line with arrowhead already attached.
CorelDesigner has an option where you just draw your line / lines and arrow is already added at the end of the line. Not only that your arrow lines can have a color outside the line (which surround it). So if you make a technical with arrows pattern when placed on top the drawing there is white or what ever color you want outside the black line (what thickness you choose so) so it's easier to read the technical drawing. So, basically, it's not line against line. That's why you would put a little white around the line. He gives him the space to breathe and easier to read the technical drawing. In Illustrator, I find that I draw my line. Then hover over the line options palette, and then scroll down arrow heads and choose my arrow head. Yes, I was able to do, but this is delicate (buggy) to get there.
Make sure that the two traits have identical points of arrows and line widths.
After you have created your effect of offset on long-distance running, move the effect of shifting way somewhere else in the stack, and then put back where it was. This seems to be the only way to make it work. Weird.

Problems to open the Web Application host with only IE comments
I'm running a Windows 2008 R2 using VMWare Workstation 7.1.5 prompt. The customer has an installed web application which is only compatible with MS Internet Explorer. The guest network is configured to use NAT.
When my host is connected to the local network of my company, I can use Internet Explorer to host to access web applications of the customer without any problem.
When my host is not connected to the local network of my company (completely disconnected, or connected to a different network) I can't use Internet Explorer of the host to access web application of the burst. But I can use the host Chrome or Firefox to access the customer applications.
My company has my locked host IE while I can't make changes to it. Is there something I can do with my network settings to get IE think it is connected to the local network of the company?

It wasn't a DNS issue since I knew that I was able to connect using Chrome.
It was a restriction of IE, but I was finally able to work around this problem. My company gave me access to a local account on the machine that had full administrative rights. Since it is a local account is not all corporate policies pushed to him. In case you're wondering, I created a shortcut with the following command:
C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe/user:
\administrator "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet. Runs like a champ. You will be asked for the password for the local account and then you are able to IE without restrictions.

Why not the AMD graphics cards on the list work supported with Premiere Pro CS6 or CC?
I try to get my Radeon HD 7970 to work with Premiere Pro CS6. The official compatibility list shows that I can use this card to accelerate the Mercury playback engine. After Effects and Photoshop CS6, both recognize the card, but Premiere Pro won't. I tried every fix there, I contacted support and they assured me that it should work with CS6 and CC.
I tried a fresh install of my OS and a new installation cs6, and then fully implemented to update the software. I also tried the same thing with the trial of CC, which tells me that CC is actually just CS6 who was apparently a waste of time.
What should I do to get a support card to actually work with Premiere Pro?
My OS is updated, I installed the latest drivers for my GPU and also tried a fresh install of the CS6 and CC... no chance whatsoever.
The GPP setting remains greyed out, regardless of what I do.
It seems that AMD fixed their drivers and they now work correctly with Windows 8 Pro x 64. I'm guessing that TeamViewer put pressure on those who is too generic to actually work with Premiere Pro CC.
They work for something else, but not here...
