Hi Experts,
JDeveloper 12.1.3.0.0
How can I display an error message on the listening port close popup without closing the popup.
Thank you
Roy
As its name suggests, close listener of popup is called when popup is closed so you can not do this.
If you want to display the popup message, use your own buttons instead of the ok/cancel default buttons and close the popup programmatically.

I read on some forums that I need to edit somethings that am not sure cos I don't want to mess with the database, I need help on what to.
Thanks for the help in advance.(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=localhost.localdomain) (PORT = 1521))
Try to edit listener.ora by:
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE/OR TRY USING THE IP ADDRESS OF THE DATABASE SERVER MACHINE)(PORT=1521))
Just try to edit HOST = value line above. You must use HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE or IP OF the DATABASE SERVER MACHINE.Host name can be obtained by the hostname command on the database server.
With localhost, no one can connect to the database remotely.

Standalone APEX listener error: the request not in a servlet context path
Hello world
Details:

I configured and started the independent auditor.
When I try to open the page
It loads a static page of APEX without no images etc, and I am not able to connect.http://hostname.domain:8080/apex/apex
I also get the following stack trace when the page is loaded:

Thanks in advance.Hello
the error and the effect that you do not see the images is probably caused by a typo or another error in the path that you entered for the static content at the first time you started the independent auditor. Maybe you just press enter in the configuration dialog box.
Search for the apex.properties file, which is usually stored in/tmp/apex and fix the value for apex.images parameter points to a directory where your pictures of the APEX are stored.
If you do not, download the release of APEX belonging to your installation and unzip the installation package. The images directory content in there, that's what you'll need. Copy it in any place, for example/opt/oracle/products/apex/images and configure the listener APEX to use this path.-Udo

Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505
Hello
Windows XP + Oracle 10.1.0.20Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor The Connection descriptor used by the client was: 127.0.0.1:1521:XE
I checked my *.ora files and found the host 127.0.0.1 but I noticed by running the netstat command on prompt back most of my ports is captured by www.360.cn including 1521
When I try to stop the following message is displayed:

-problem of network infrastructure
-some process disturbing / virus on the server Oracle itself
-firewall problem

I installed Oracle 10 g on my PC. It installed fine, and I can connect to SQLPlus. However, I can't start the listener. I tried: lsnrctl start listener, and I get :-12560 TNS: TNS:protocol adapter error.

Well, I'm trying to install data guard and this error I get on the standby server. The listener preceding is also the same.

Follow the link, it shows why and how LOCAL_LISTENER needs a specifications in the tnsnames.ora. You don't have a problem with the native listener.

Program interrupted due to: ORA-12541: listener TNS:no
MARCH has been very well before the holiday weekend. When I came back, I was looking at the contents page and the image is not being developed. I have SSH had to MARCH and did the above.
While SSH to MARS (and my always open HTTPS session) I did a reboot and I always get the same error. Also, now when I HTTPS to MARS I get a login page, but the url is: https://10.6.184.116/logout.jsp
The name of user and password fields and the "connect" button are in the upper left corner of the browser window, not in the Middle as usual.
So now, I have two problems. The first being my listener TNS error and the second being that I can not connect. He wants to connect first... ugh.
Thank you
Bob
This sounds like what happened to our MARCH box. It turns out cisco had to console as an expert and difficulty of the database / database patch. Open a TAC case to solve. Or 4.2.2 update.

As you can see there is no problem at all.
When I try to run. / netca to $GRID_HOME/bin as the root of this error happens and he will not launch ASMCA.
Here is my source for the grid Services environment.
ORACLE_SID = + ASM1; export ORACLE_SID
ORACLE_HOME=/U01/app/11.2.0/grid; Export ORACLE_HOME
Here is the full error:
ASMCA detected before ASM 11 GR 2, but it has a local instance configured on this node. If you want to upgrade to the ASM to 11 GR 2,
You must run ASMCA on a node where pre 11 GR 2 ASM instance is configured.
Thank you
Lady Allora.
