• The application bar is missing the workspace box

  I miss the workspace area in the corner to the right of my Applications bar. My laptop is fine and everything is up-to-date. Just noticed that she and I can get my workspaces through the tab of the window. It would just be nice get box so I can tell at a glance or reset my workspace pronto if need to be.

  I had to solve this problem. This problem happened only WebSphere environment. I just filled out the path of the cookie for each JVM Hyperion on Websphere integrated solutions Console. Thus, planning applications begin to appear in the Menu navigate workspace.

  I just installed EPM on our test server, everything was fine, except that when I open the workspace there is only the menu Administration.
  Of course, I already checked the settings of the workspace, but the list of "Enabled products" is just empty.

  First re - run your tasks "Set up logical Web address" and "Set up the Web server" and restarted the system. You should see port numbers for each application installed on the stage of logical web address - if you see applications out there are indicates Shared Services don't think that they have been fully installed.

  Then, run the EMP System Diagnostics.

  Then try the below URL, receive you login screens?
  http://servername:19000/HyperionPlanning/logon.jsp
  http://servername:8300/HyperionPlanning/logon.jsp

  Then view the log files of services to the:
  \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics\logs\services\

• Cannot access the HFM applications through the workspace

  I use HFM 11.1.1.3 version and Oracle database version is 10g. We have the Oracle database has migrated to the new server and configured the HFM applications to this new database server. When I tried to access the HFM application through the workspace, I am getting error below. Please could you help me on this. The error message says that the table or view does not exist. But I'm not able to find which table I missed it.

  I solved this problem. I gave bad database schema in the udl file.
  Changed the udl with correct schema file and solves the problem.

• The Application of fusion 3 menu bugs

  When you use various new features in menu and dock of the application to the startup of Windows programs, while the basic functionality works as the program starts, the properties of the shortcut on the Start Menu of Windows are ignored.

  This happens when a current windows program is changed to "Keep in Dock" or when it is started from the first menu drop-down the Menu application. However if you go down the all programs menu of the application section, the start icon works as before, with its parameters.

  The malfunction of the icon launched from the Dock or menu drop down first depends on how critical the missing parameters are in the program. In some cases, it is simply that the program starts in the wrong directory, which is maybe fixable within the program. In other cases, program will not work without its parameters.

  In Windows, a program shortcut has parameters. In VMWare, there seems to be that no only parameters for starting the program of the new feature it as a pretty serious omission, which jeopardizes the new feature.

  I hope someone in this forum can help me with this.
  
  I built a profitability management application and costs in the workspace. I have validated and deployed it sucessuflly. But when I try to open the app, I am not able to see profitability in the Menu or Navigate menu open in the workspace.
  
  Can someone tell what could be the cause for this?
  
  Some information:
  
  I have deployed an application with the "default application group" with "again and cost management.
  
  I created the Group application separately Profitabiilty and costs in Services management shared.

  I have installed and configured the Hyperion products in the following order
  
  -> foundation services
  -> server Essbase
  -> Essbase Administration service
  -> planning
  -> reporting and analysis
  -> workspace
  
  We know that this workspace is a unique user interface.
  
  After setting up, I tried to open the planning via the workspace Application, but I could not able to find "* classic Application Administration *" under administer option of the menu navigation to guide me.

• "Lightroom" missing from the top menu

  "Lightroom" missing in the top menu. Currently my main menu is as follows: file, edit, library, Photo, metadata, view, window, help. Therefore, I don't know how to reach my "preferences". New user of Lightroom 4.3. Platform PC Windows 7. What brought this to my attention was a review of some of the Adobe tutorials where a few screenshots show the top starting with 'Library' menu and not others. My question is should start the top with 'Lightroom' menu and if not, how can I access the settings menu of "Preference"?

• Planning menu does not appear in the workspace

  I try to install EMP 9.3.1.
  
  Until the installation of Planning, everything was fine.
  Now, I'm working on the installation of Planning. In the workspace in the menu 'Navigate' i've got the issue of 'demand', but when I select it I see a small empty menu.
  
  I checked that Web server include planning.
  In the config log I saw this message

  It seems that apache are not correctly set but left i0ve by default.

  Try this:

  Open your planning with planning Web console application,

  Administration---> ApplicationSettings--> Shared Services registry.

  Open Configuration utility;
  Choose:
  Reporting and analysis
  -Configure the Web server and make sure that you go through these steps successfully. (Do this even if it has already succeeded when you made this earlierl)

  and check if you can see through the planning workspace.

• Cannot open the HFM (grayed out menu items) in the workspace (weblogic\IIS)

  Here is the configuration:
  
  HFM on IIS on server1. Port 80
  
  Planning on weblogic\IIS on server 2.
  
  Workspace on weblogic\IIS on the Server 3. Port 80.
  
  With this combination, I can see the menu items in the workspace of planning and can create an application. But the HFM as "Create app" menu items is gray and clicking on Sunrise an error that the module is not configured.
  
  If I rerun the configuration utility on the server (Server 3) workspace and workspace on weblogic\Apache (changed between IIS and apache), to deploy the two planning and HFM are at my disposal and I can create HFM applications.
  
  My client wants us to use IIS and also, we heard that support for Apache would be removed over time.
  
  Any ideas on how I can use IIS on the server to the workspace and get HFM to work with her.
  Another question is - can I change the port default HFM from 80 to something else while running the configuration tool for HFM.

  If you use a separate web server and application server and that you are not Apache as web server, you need to deploy the system of financial management. Please read the installation manual 52 next page: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_manual_deployment.pdf

  Alternatively, you can deploy the Web of HFM components directly to the server of the workspace that can be a little easier to install.

  Once you have chosen the direction chosen and made changes to the HFM, you will need to then to redeploy Workspace App Server and Configuration Web.

  I use Firefox for an application kiosk on a touch screen monitor. I will prevent users from interacting with the browser interface. Is there a way to do this? Disable the context menu and zoom for the touch gestures could prevent users from getting into a State where they are unable to use the application.
