• How can I modify/rename/reorganize the model tree?

  
  I have imported a .u3d exported to Microstation and want to be able to change the names of the nodes in the model tree and rearrange using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.  All I can find mentions a version 9-8-9 workaround but I don't have access to these outdated versions.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Is not possible. In Acrobat, the template file is read-only.

• In the model tree, ticks are reset to zero on the display change

  How to avoid ticks reset in the model tree when the user changes the view of the model? I understand that this behavior is on purpose, but I want to turn it off.

  I tried to add the control of ticks under CameraEventHandler but it seems that CameraEventHandler is called after ticks had reset. So, I have not any to come back. (Best practices) any idea how to implement that?

  When I display the model tree and then only add new model using 'scene.addModel' the model tree does not get updated to show additional nodes. I also tried to add some scene.update (); and runtime.refresh (); but without a bit of luck.

  The model tree is published by the 3D in the Acrobat user interface API when the 3D annotation is initialized (i.e. when the embedded script finished running for the first time). After that, the only changes you will see happen when a bubble of selection event is triggered, so in your case where models are loaded after the loop initialization is complete, you must force the event by choosing and will release the new node in the scene temporarily a selection:

  scene.selectedNode = scene.meshes.getByIndex(scene.meshes.count-1);

  scene.selectedNode = undefined;

  That displays your new node in the UI tree. What you see is "involuntary correct behavior" in the sense that there is no way to hide an entry in the tree in order to link the update of the UI for a specific event bubble lets someone add a template, set it to the invisible and avoid the node declaring in the UI until the author wants to see you.   Most people will be to preload eall resources during the loop init and set the dynamic bit of the model to the invisible - in which the tree lists all. You see the effect with the node of your ' time 0 (0).

  I'm trying to rename the model of the parts on the model tree. I thought that I had done this with success in 3D reviewer, but I can't seem to transfer the renowned coins that I modified in 3D reviewer to return to the main shaft of the PDF file. Any help please?

  You cannot rename nodes with Acrobat 9 /Reviewer. In criticism, you can only change the display name.  To rename nodes, explosion, collapse heirachy and geometry group, that you must use Deep Exploration by a company called Right Hemisphere.  This can then be re-imported in your PDF.

  When I open some of our documents PDF 3D the model tree opens as soon as the user activates the canvas. We want to avoid this.

  Not with a script - it is defined as a preference on the 3D annotation. Right click and choose Properties, and then click the tab 3D uncheck the item 'open model tree' and save your file.

• Unknown devices in the devices tree

  We run OpenManage Essentials (OME) v2.0.1.2222 in a Windows domain. I have seven servers PowerEdge R710 running Citrix Xenserve. I created a records for the DRAC and have added to the discovery and inventory (D & I). DNS is correct with a records and reverse PTR statement records correctly. The name of DNS DRAC has been set for the DNS A record for each of the DRAC (which took me out).

  They are discovered by using SNMP and MANAGEMENT. The Dell troubleshooting tool (v3.4.2) does not report errors when you query the DRAC using SNMP & WSMAN by their records.

  After a moment, they all appear in the tree view of the devices as properly the DNS record. Five of them are normal - green tick and reports correctly. However, two are appearing as unknown, the serial number, but not the model statement.

  As I said, the troubleshooting tool reports correctly so I am at a lost as to why two should be unknown. They should all be the same.

  All the advice on troubleshooting more? I removed the devices tree and waited for another set of D & I but the result is the same - unknown devices.

  With iDRAC6, I suggest that you take the approach of the band management either through OMSA because very little support by iDRAC. With OMSA, you'll be able to do most of the things. Yes, install OMSA on Xen Server isn't simple Windows or Linux server although that this is information on the site of dell in this regard support. • Report to find the changes in the model

  I use the Data Modeler Version 4.0.2.840 and the BDD is v11.2.0.4.

  I had a model that was obsolete and I refreshed using import / data dictionary / merge functionality.  During the process of dialogue, he showed many changes (new or removed, new columns tables, etc.).  Once the merger is completed, the model is correct but I was wondering exactly what had changed.  Is there anyway to create a report that will show you what changes have been made?  Also, is there a report that show problems with the model, for example incorrect not valid/FKs, etc.?

  Hi Rick,

  There is reporting on the changes, it is little hidden - dialog compare model has two presentations - tree view and table view - you will find the "Generate report" button on the table view.

  I created a model of my database in SQL Developer, using the component maker data by dragging all the objects in array of tables on both relational and logical tree. As I make changes to the database is possible to refresh the model. I used the following method by which I remove the chart from the table in the view of Relational_x and then by dragging the object of the object tree navigation in the relational diagram, but is there a button I can push just tear up and refresh my diagram of relationship as a whole?

  Yes, on the main toolbar, there is a blue button that points to the LEFT. Learn more about this here.

  Moreover, there is another way to add your database tables/views, could be easier than to do the drag and drop. Use the file > Data Modeler > import > data dictionary.

  There is no model of the tree. Trees are implemented using jQuery plugin jsTree .

  Basically Yes, you use jQuery and CSS to control the appearance and behavior of the trees.

  If you want to create an item based on a model, you can try instead a hierarchical list.

  You can add a style to the template of the tree itself. You do, however, depends on which already has the model of the tree.

  If we assume that none of the entries in the model of the tree shows name = «...» "on any tag and the tree is built like a table - in other words, is just in front of the tree:

  We can update this option to (A) give the table tag an ID and (B) add some styles above that target each tree node. There should be only the node types in the tree - those unrelated and those with a link. Those without a link should be just the text within a TD tag. Those who have links should be text in an A tag.

  So, if we give the tree a "mytree" ID, we can change the setting before the tree model to:

  If your model includes the name = "+ className +" attribute of tags, you can replace it by adding the following above the TABLE tag in the highlighting of the tree:

• Pages export to Word using the model of NEWSLETTER, issue 1 of page spacing

  QUESTION: Anyone know if model NEWSLETTER (and or Museum Brochure) correctly export to .docx and how delete images or change the text boxes using these models so that I am still able to export properly?

  I used the NEWSLETTER model, whose Pages can export to .docx and then import to .docx (I don't know if that Word can do, but Pages indicates it would be).

  Problem: after the header of the newsletter, I removed the photo and have floating only the areas of text underneath.  I have two pages, the 2nd page export perfect (a page break separates it from the first).  On the first page, there are 12 small boxes in two columns under the heading who generously and easily fit on the first page.  It is not unlike the model I have, however, but with no photos.  I've seen many templates use these 'boxes' in support of the columns of text on a page, I don't think the floating box would be a problem.  However, I like the wish of floating boxes to learn how to use them so that they "work".

  I saw immediately that the text boxes, I added, when export and imported .docx, lose their place and float under the heading (NEWSLETTER) (superimposed text, bad page layout).

  I noticed the paragraph (carriage return, Enter) symbols, while I moved around text boxes, had become interlaced between the boxes, but not all - 1/2 at the bottom of page.  I then noticed that attempt to remove the superfluous paragraph runs in .pages (after repositioning all the boxes), but aggravated .docx, also the Pages do not leave even to remove the first symbol (it mystifies me, because the models do not appear to use paragraph at all except inside the floating boxes).

  Finally, I added enough symbols paragraph so that there was a conflict between each text box, but not as much as Word decide to add a blank page.  I had to make sure the columns are too wide - they should be 1/4 "part we will tell.  THAT APPEARED TO WORK.  Pages exported and imported it point by point I was happy.

  But when my Advisor job achieved and open in Word (the one for Windows 7), the SAME problem, I had before setting the transport returns appeared: the two decoders or four are overlapping the title, and set the person must have inserted transport returns before the first text box to move it all down (which seemed to work - but failed as an export and no not to use practice later).  'good work '.  Fortunately, I also have attatched a PDF export, however the person had asked to change their PLU using high government dell.

  Well, we have said for years in this community if you want stressless, architecture native document exchange with Windows Word users that you need to use the most recent Word available on the Mac.

  Pages is not a clone of Word, and Apple does not guarantee that the open translation process / export from/to the architecture of document Word will remain faithful to the original of the document formatted.

  In response to your questions:

  1. If you have document objects in a model with x on their border, and then the object is locked. You visit the tab Pages to reorganize v5, and downstairs you can unlock these objects for further editing, or deletion.
  2. It is advice that we can give here will make sure Pages exports specifically to the word he already did not. The logic of translation is connected to demand, and it is the price of roulette.
