  I have a license for Adobe Acrobat X Standard but no media (it is a new Dell computer).  I looked all over the site and I am directed to Adobe Acrobat Pro X download. I tried to download Pro X and using my license but couldn't because it is only a license for Acrobat Standard.

  Hey guys, check out https://smartsource.dell.com and the connection, make sure that you run from the Dell computer that had the license. It will install an IE activeX control to determine your system's information and then take you to a download page where you can download all the software of that your computer has been authorized. Roxio, PowerDVD, etc, AND Adobe Acrobat X Standard! Jeeeeez it took long enough to get an answer!

  If all goes well, that solves this problem unnecessarily complicated! My God, why all the technicians Dell don't KNOW THAT? :-)

• Adobe Reader 9.4 download links have been removed.

  I'm trying to get a copy of Adobe Reader 9.4 for offline installation, but all direct download links have been removed.  All attempts to download the installation media keep redirect me to a page that requires installing an ActiveX control.   My company blocks the execution of all the ActiveX controls for security reasons.  None of the Adobe KB articles contain something useful to fix this (my internet connection and a browser work fine, thank you).

  Can someone please help me with a simple link (on Adobe's Web site) for Reader 9.4 for Windows download?

  Built with CCP by the package Adobe Acrobat does not completely settle.  It starts as if it's installing just fine then suddenly disappears without error.   I'm installing under the local administrator account and simply double-click on setup.exe created in the build folder.  Am I missing something?

  I think you're just double click on the deployer of Exception and not running the same command prompt. Below is the syntax that we use everything using the deployer of Exception on your machine (s).

  ExceptionDeployer    --workflow=install    --mode=pre|post    --INSTALLDIR=    --installLanguage=forAcrobat>    --abortOnFail    --help

  The same is mentioned in the link shared by Abhijit earlier.

  Click the "Finder" on your dock to Open a Finder window. Click on 'Applications' in the side bar of the Finder window to see your Mac applications. In this folder, double-click the folder "utilities". Double-click the "Activity Monitor" icon to access the application.

  Now exit Adobe all associates of process as creative cloud, CC, CCX, Core sync, broker CIB Adobe and then launch creative cloud app again and try to download Acrobat.
