  To answer your question, update usually retains your personal data (bookmarks, passwords recorded, etc.). However, it is always a good idea to keep a backup of your personal data in case of hard drive failure or accidental formatting, preferable on another hard drive, a USB pin/USB/thumb/key or a CD/DVD, so that you don't miss them.   Comcast & Norton are already over 5 weeks of delay in the release of a compatibility update for Firefox 20.

  This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are not sent or otherwise blocked.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  There was a workaround solution posted, but I have not tested it myself. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Yahoo Messenger Options - change the window in the tab menu and press OK.
  2. Then go back and switch to the small window and press OK.

  The bug has already been fixed. So, you can download the beta version of FF 10 If this is a really important feature for you.
