• Difficulty in getting the number of instances of digital field

  I created a form on which a user can add / duplicate the subform.  This subform is located in an another subform.
  THUS, the hierarchy is like:

  1 subform

  2 subform

  Table with fields

  Remove button

  Add button

  Numeric field

  The digital field display the number of instances of subform 2.

  I selected the field and added the code:

  Subform2.instancaManager.count;

  But this does not at all. The field does not appear anything.

  The subform has a minimum number of 1. So in my logic, it should display 1. But I'm not a scripter at all... so frankly I think of her in a bad way.

  Can someone help me get this numeric field to calculate the subform2 instances? In a language dummy please :-)

  Since the numeric field is outside Subform1, you have not provided a quite complete reference of the numeric field Subform2. For a description, see here: http://assure.ly/kUP02y.

  It should work in the case of calculating the numeric field:

  this.rawValue = Subform1.Subform2.instanceManager.count;
  

  If the subform did not have a minimum number, you would use the shortcut of instanceManager _ underscores:

  this.rawValue = Subform1._Subform2.count;
  

  The two options are JavaScript. I prefer to use the shortcut _ every time I work with the repetition of the proceedings.

  * I have the Oracle 11 g 2 enterprise database.
  * Which contains the single user schema say MySchema (e.g. username: myschema / passwoerd: msch123).
  * Now 3 DBA will access this database for maintenance activities using credetial "/ as sysdba" and 6 application server are goinng to database access using credentials myschema@mydb.
  * All the application servers are simultaneous connections in the database and each application server can start n number of sessions at any given time.
  
  so an instance of perticuler, I could see that all 3 dba are loggedin and all servers in 6 applications have begun to say about 60 sessions.
  
  Question:
  ======
  Now say ORACLE / my customers want to know how many users access the database or the number of users using my database (so that we will not exid No. user limit allowed by the ORACLE license).
  So what should report them
  
  ) a myschema single user (total 1 user only)
  (b) myschema and sysdba (total 2 users only)
  (c) 60 + 3 different users with the same credentials (myschema and sysdba). (if that's the answer I am supposed to answer with, amd my oracle license allow me to 20 users, am I more than the user limit established by license ORACLE.)

  The Oracle system view provided V$ SESSION will show you all CURRENT connections to your database. There will be one line per connection.

  So if you have 3 DBA and 10 users connected all view the same name of connection, then you would always see 13 user connections to your database, and so oracle background processes...

  I have a need to know the number of rows in a database and save that number in a local variable. I tried to practice using the database of the Types of step provided with TS. I tried to use the following in a SQL statement:

  It returns an error: specified value is not the expected type. My goal is possible in this way, or I'm doing this completely wrong?

  I managed to achieve my goal by using the SQL statement: "SELECT COUNT (*) as Rowcount OF TEST_TABLE", followed by a data GET operation, which records that number of lines in a local variable.

  Allows CTRL F to find the text that I'm looking for, but I'm looking not only for them, I'm also trying to count how many times the string appears in the file.  Y at - it a function or one way to do other that manually hit F3 and hoping that I have caught all of them when the program highlights many instances instead of each of them individually?

  You can use advanced search option (CTRL + SHIFT + F) which provides the number of instances for a specific search.

  Just thought of another potential idea, that you can try if you use Sticky Notes.

  Do a search for Adobe on the generated summary of comments PDF to Word reminder and you will quickly see the number of instances in the document.

  Thanks guys, unfortunately I have not found a SQL function that return the number of directly connected user. This is possible only on SQL Server.

  What I have is this: I created two fields in my database: a 'DB_is_used' flag and a "Username" field, and each user how want to use the database, should check these fields if it is empty, it inserts the name of its PC and use the database. Or, if the field is not empty, it will see a popup message displays the user name 'book' this database and the hedisconnect of him immediately.

  It works for me and I am satisfied.

  At first, I thought it might be that the server is running out of threads to spawn new BMD so I also added the thread pool using the - Dweblogic.threadpool.MinPoolSize = 100 in the start, but it is always showing 16 consumers. I miss any idea what else do you? I use this on WLS 11 g.

  The number of MDB instances in the free pool is limited by the value of the element of max-beans-in free-pool in memory of weblogic-ejb - jar.xml and available. The value of max-beans-in free-pool is > determined by the following rules, in order of precedence:

  If a custom ExecuteThreadPool is set, the number of threads MDB is identical to the value of ExecuteThreadCount.
  If a WorkManager customized with max-son-constraint is defined, then the number of threads MDB is identical to the value of max-son-stress.

  The number of threads MDB is equal to 16 (this is the default).

  Contract 1:

  Start date: 01/01/2013

  End date: 31/03/2013

  2 contract:

  End date: 31/08/2013

  Contract 3:

  Start date: 11/01/2013

  End date: 31/03/2014

  I want to do this:

  For contract 3, calculate the number of days for contract 1 + contract 2 + 3 contract

  For the market 2, calculate the number of days for the 2 + 3 on contract market

  To contract 1, calculete number of days for contract 1

  Moreover, I would calculate the number of days limited to 28 months before the date of the end of each contract.

  For contract 3 calculate the number of days until the 31/03/2014 but on 30/11/2011.

  Means that

  -If a contract of 4 ends before 30/11/2011-> not taken

  -If a contract of 4 begins on 11/01/2011 and ends on 15/12/2011, the days of the 12/01/2011 to 15/12/2012 are taken into account.

  For contract 2 calculate the number of days until the 31/08/2013, but since 30/04/2011.

  Means that

  -If a contract of 4 ends before 30/11/2011-> not taken

  -If a contract of 4 begins on 11/01/2011 and ends 15/12/2011-> not taken
