  Hello anne, you already have the latest version of firefox installed - these popups are probably a tactic of scam trying to trick you by installing more malware, to not download or run this kind of stuff! just download firefox from its official site at mozilla.org - more updates are managed automatically by firefox if you do not have to download or run .exe files (you can run a check of updates of firefox > help > about firefox).

  If you get unwanted opening pages it is also a sign of already active on your computer of malware. Please do the following

  1. Reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. then go to firefox > addons > extensions and where there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

  Not much more to add. Version 4 of FF worked fine with McAfee Site Advisor direct. I have the software McAfee total protection on my PC - as it turns out be the most reliable for you - so I trust in the Site Advisor - and would like to have this application available when you are using FF.

Is there a problem with access to the same site (local on my Mac) with two different versions of DW? I would like to only access and edit pages with the old version. I know that I could get some weird previews in the old version, but are there other issues should I be aware of?

  No problem I can think of, apart from one slightly different code entry than the other. CS3 will use outdated html attributes for things that later versions use CSS to accomplish (centering text and other). It's still going to work in all major browsers, but the CS3 code won't be to modern standards, if you use it for more than the old extension.

  The Ste URL or domain you specify in the dialog box of Muse FTP must be "www.excelendeavormedia.com" because it is the server that should be able to use Typekit fonts, as well as the page. Keep in mind, this has nothing to with the FTP process itself!

  So that's what I'm wondering, what is not loaded in safe mode which is always loaded when you manually turn off all extensions and plugin?

  This could be a problem with the new features related to the police who are trying to use your graphics card. You can enable those here:

  Tools > Options > advanced > [disable] "use hardware acceleration when available.

  (It's one of the things that turn off safe mode.)

  I don't know if you'll see results immediately, or if you must restart Firefox.

  Hi, during the opening session on my computer, I got a little split screen, separation is 1/4 to the top of the screen and the screen ends 3/4 through my computer screen. It is not connected to a screen divided through tile, pls don't tell me to undo the tile, it is a different matter.   I transferred my site dreamweaver successfully except for a glitch.
