  My colleague and I have tried to use the Oracle Report Builder to replace our existing report builder of our ERP system. We have already created the report in Report Builder from the suite of development.
  
  What we are looking for is a similar solution such as Microsoft reporting services;
  (1) create models of corporate report
  (2) and then download the template files to a location (for example, the folder on the server)
  (3) then all users in the company can access it through a web browser with a few fields which they can enter certain critiria (e.g. order number).
  (4) then send it to the printer and print out must stand exactly as the model.
  
  
  Unfortunately, we had very hard time trying to find out what it takes and how to publish this report in Oracle we have created. We spent 15 hours on it, but no results.
  
  15 hours we tried to install the 'Oracle' service, but finally, my colleague said that it was not what we are looking for you, "report Oracle service" is used to the error of the hosted application on the server, not to publish the report of company created by the "Oracle report bulider.
  
  
  We use Oracle Database 10 g for the LES quite a long time already. We had setup the Oracle Developer and the installed Application Server.
  
  Could someone tell us please what kind of service Oracle we are looking actually. Other guides any suggestion and installation are also the most welcoming.

  The Image is generated by the java code in oraclebarcode.jar
  It is possible to 'hide' a part of the image by putting an object ("rectangle" for example) on the part of the image that you want to hide.

  Apologies for being a tad lazy... after finally got my head around the basics of dynamic forms and managed to create the shape that I wanted to, I'm kinda stuck on javascript, and my brain (mathematically hopeless) text based will probably take months to understand the code required for the final piece of the puzzle.

  In its newly opened State, my form has all the fields of user on page 1 input and an object of the containing page 2 assembly instructions text field.

  As the shape may extend to 2 or sometimes even 3 pages at the end, the subject of guidelines (which almost fills a page and does not allow for breaks) will move to page 3 or 4.

  The purpose of guidelines is visible (display only).

  I added a subform with two fields impression over the subject of the text of the directive. One is the standard print button that prints the entire document, and, as expected, the directives do not print.  The other was to print the form and guidelines, but it does not make the visible guidelines.

  So... the first question is, can someone tell me why this script does not work? (no action at all, but no syntax error)

  Your form is already dynamic (flowing), then for your second button print, you can hide the main pages in the click event, print the remaining pages and then finally show all pages.

  I know that people have asked similar questions, but I was not able to do this work. I'm doing some fairly simple math (addition, multiplication) in an application. I have 2 fields (VALUE_A, VALUE_B). I can get the addition and multiplication work in the interactive report, but I also need that it works correctly in the form of update. I also need update form to work dynamically so that if the values are changed, the correction calculated response is shown immediately on the update form and then reflected in the interactive report.   I'm on Oracle 11.2.0.3 on Linux. I've implemented the Oracle text in my database. My production dba told me today that there is some locking problems in production and he sent me a report from ASH. I can post that ASH in a separate email thread, but first of all in this post you ask who are there known issues with Oracle expected text that it causes associated locks or lock? I read somewhere that oracle indexes text get defragmented over time. My full text index is defined as sync on commit. For example, should they be rebuilt over time - say drop and recreate them? What should be the frequency of doing this?

  There are different ways to optimize, some fast and partial and some more slow and painstaking.  Please see the procedure optimize_index of the ctx_ddl package:

  Use a link instead of a lexical parameter setting. Remove the single quotes and ampersand. Add then two points if the parameter looks like this:
