The 'OraOLEDB.Oracle.1' provider is not registered.

Hello.

I'm on Windows7 and SSAS running. I installed ODAC (it seems to me I have installed the 32-bit version) and it worked fine. Working, I mean that I was able to connect to the Oracle database, I was able to define a Data Source, and I was able to define a Data Source view. I was also able to install and configure a Cube. No problem connecting. Tables of database being included so I know that the ODAC was working and I was through with the Oracle database.

Now. The problem is that I get errors when I try to process the cube.

"The provider"OraOLEDB.Oracle.1"is not registered.

I think it's because I need the 64-bit version of the ODAC. Where can I download the 64 bit version?

Thank you

David.

Hello

Versions supported on Win7 are 11201 and 10205.

Currently, there is no Group 11.2 odac for x 64, so install 11.2 x 64 full client instead.

MSDAORA is not a 64-bit version. You will have to either switch to 32-bit application and use of Oracle 32-bit client, or use a client provider and oledb 64-bit instead (IE, provider of Oracle - ORAOLEDB. ORACLE)

  • Error message: the 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local computer.

    Hello

I've successfully installed the NCLEX - RN 4000 on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium edition. However, I get the error message "the"Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider is not registered on the local computer"whenever I try to open the program.» The package says that the software is compatible with versions of Microsoft Windows Vista and XP. I tried to open the program using program compatibility issues resolution which did not work. I also do a right-click on the icon and choose Properties/compatibility and then selected the most recent Microsoft Windows OS program is compatible with and apply the settings. To my dismay, it was also a no go. I did some research and reading that Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is not compatible with the programs .msi. So, I checked and found out that the file ends by .msi.

With all that said, these are the questions that I find myself with:

What can I do to fix this so that I can use my 4000 NCLEX-RN program?

Why Microsoft Windows 7 is not backward compatible?

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you very much!

If someone else has the same problem when you try to run the NCLEX-RN 4000 program on the Windows 7 operating system, you will need to contact Wolters Kluwer Health (the manufacturer of the NCLEX-RN 4000 Review program). The customer service number is 1-800-638-3030. Once you reach a customer service representative explain why you call and they will send you by e-mail an update that will allow the NCLEX-RN 4000 to run on the Windows 7 operating system. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions! And thanks to all who have responded to this topic! I enjoyed all your comments!

  • the ' microsoft. Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local computer

I am trying to install a software to study for nursing school and this is the message I get. Does anyone know what I need to do?

    Hello juls286,

You can get this error if the Jet is not installed. You can find installation below. Jet does not work if the application is running in 64-bit mode. If you need to run it in 64-bit mode, you must use the OLEDB of ACE provider which you can find here
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=c06b8369-60dd-4B64-A44B-84b371ede16d

If this does not help, contact the manfacturer of your study or your school of nursing service COMPUTER software.

I just changed provider, to find that my new provider does not have a server address to use for outgoing e-mail. I am currently using Windows Live Mail on Windows 7. I don't seem to have any kind of Outlook on my computer. I have the suite Office home/student who does not have Outlook in any form. I have my own e-mail address. Can anyone offer any help or advice on how I can begin to send e-mails. I can receive emails straight.

  • «Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider is not registered on the local computer in Windows 7»

Hi, I looked at the issue and it is based on the fact that there is no 64-bit version of Jet.
My problem is however not to work with VB or IIS or anything else that uses this particular DB.

I am trying to run NCLEX-RN4000 on the new machine, and it is a standalone application (there are a .exe and the bunch of htmls in folders). I guess that the program was created using VB or something similar that used this OLEDB. I wonder just isn't absolutely no hope for this market? Or is it possible to change something in the registry? or specify a start via a shortcut setting?

I know that my computer has the msjet40.dll, it's just in a directory that the program does not have to look at, I guess.
    Any info would be helpful.

  • Instant Volume restore error 0 X cliché 80042304 system is not registered

original title: shadow copy of Volume?

I get a message when you try to create a restoration point that bed the Volume snapshot provider is not registered in the system (0 X 80042304)

But how do you start it? I thought that Windows would do this automatically?

Using systems eplains everything about shadow copies, but not what to call it?

    Hi G_501,

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

I suggest that you check whether the required services are running on the computer.

    (a) click Start-> type services.msc in the search bar and press enter.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

    (c) in the following list services search services below and make sure that the start-up services and set to automatic.

    Shadow copy volume

If the previous step fails, then disable the security software installed on the computer, and try again later to create a system restore point.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    I hope this helps!
