  I have a few black and white art drawings. The lines are not smooth and sharp, and to the contrary to have tiny jagged edges. I tried to use the finger and that smooth lines but it also makes the lines a little sloppy. It is probably the way the smudge tool takes its name. Is it possible to use this amazing software to create smooth lines? I learned how to create paths, but I can't understand how to use paths to change the line drawing.   Try this:

  1. Select > all.

  2 copy.

  3 group. (Just to group your line drawings, so you can select it later.)

  3 paste in front.

  4 pathfinder Palette: click the icon of the divide more (left, bottom row).

  5 Color Palette: click on a color, as applying to a fill. (The fill icon background/contour part must be at the front.

  6 object > arrange > SendToBack.

  7 separate.

  You should now have an object filled for each region Visual envelope of your work at the chain, under the Assembly-line work in the stacking order. You can re - color filled areas by selecting and changing their fill colors.

  If all areas has not created you can fill a closed path, there is a gap between some lines around this region. You must ensure that all the areas you want to color are less than completely surrounded by paths. In other words, to the method above works, paths that define a region coloring must at least touch each other. (Best to make them pass as either little - although it has less than the weight of the race.
