  I didn't mean that you cannot run Windows 7. I have run on systems with 512 MB of ram. It will work, but will slip. It will be the same for Vista. I recommend that stick you with Xp until you are able to upgrade your ram.

The first time I tried it failed and said some settings needed to be changed so that it can be downloaded so I just clicked that it was OK. I don't know what settings have been changed, as it did this automatically. The cd installed fine and works fine. However, everything else on my computer still works however the color went somehow like a negative image.

  I uninstalled the CD to see if it would help, but the color is not returned to normal.

  Hello. Usually, I work with Photoshop. This is my first time doing something in Illustrator. Here's my problem.

  I have need of arrows are going around the whole circle and I didn't make each arrow individually, so I copied the original arrow and pasted on a new layer. Well, I decided later that I wanted to change the color of my arrows. So I changed the color on my only original and its fine, but when I click on others they change shape and go a little crazy. What it's even worse that I can't cancel it somehow. I can't go back and put it as it was. When I hit Cancel it will change the colors back and so on, but the form remains the same. I use Illustrator CS3.

  Good one a few months ago I bought a HP Envy 14 laptop and I must say that I really liked it. Then a few days ago, I just bought a HP desktop computer (can tell you I'm a fan of HP) and I love it also.

  Here's my problem...

  On my desk, I decided to change her look, so I installed a custom theme (dark theme) and it changes the appearance of windows 7 and changed the color of the lower menu/taskbar of windows 7 in black and I really liked it. I decided to install this theme on my laptop and everything has changed except for the background color of menu/taskbar of windows 7 botom.   DragonFur, I want to thank you for your time and your answers, you should know that it meant a lot to me.

  After doing a lot of work and trial and error, I finally found a solution to this problem...

  I did a lot of googling and research and what I found is that there are many people out there who are owners of laptop HP Envy 14 who have trouble changing the color of their windows 7 start menu/taskbar or with the taskbar is not not transparent.

  Here are some of the things I tried.

  1 Installing different themse (did not work)

  2. Update driver for ati radeon 5650 graphics card (did not work)

  3 tried to adjust areo ensuring transparency has been activated (did not work)

  4. tried to bios update (did not work)

  5 tried to use a program to change the color of the bar tasks (did not work)

  What I ended up doing is creating a new user to the administrator and when I created this account is a program called "stardock mypaint" come asking me if I wanted to use this program to change the original theme for windows. When I said this software to change the original theme of windows 7, it changed my taskbar to the greyish appearance, it was the same off-white color I had on my account I tried to change. So I went back to my account and I searched for the program "stardock mypaint" and I have disabled this theme and then he changed my windows operating system 7 to an original blue theme but the taskbar was transparent! Then I went into my themes and changed the theme I wanted and my taskbar has changed color and transparency! Needless to say I was so happy.

  I really hope that this post will really help someone else who is trying to solve this problem...

  HP I really hope that maybe you guys can watch this program "Stardock MyPaint" which I think may be for HP Envy 14 laptop computers and allow users to know that the use of this program can affect other issues.

  Isn't funny how the solution to the problem is always the simplest answer...

  I knew there was something in the windows that kept my taskbar to be transparent and changing colors and it turns out it was a program of HP.

  Yet once I really hope this helps someone else out there and I'm hoping that HP employees this will read so maybe they can help each other if someone falls on this problem.

  I went to every imaginable setting within the Pro Officeject utility.  I don't think that there is a configuration option.  Therefore, I always print in color (default setting).

  My computer is Mac OS 10.8.3 and I use an Officejet Pro 8600.

  Follow the steps below to print grayscale or using black ink only:

  1. from the application used to print, click the file menu and select print.
  The print window is displayed.
  NOTE: The print window might be minimized: click the blue triangle next to product model (Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.6) or the button view details (Mac OS X Lion v10.7) to see all of the available parameters.

  2. to access the color options, click in the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
  Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

  3. Select Type/quality paper in the menu dropdown.

  4. click the triangle next to color Options of spending parameters.

  5. set the color to grayscale field.

  6. you can also set the Mode to grayscale in black ink cartridge only to use the black ink cartridge only.

  You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

  I'm surprised, because I use Firefox for years and never met such a problem. Any Web site I can get with Firefox has its missing colors. The background is white. Also color of tab header/Navigation etc are missing. There is no problem with the sizes of fonts or colors.

  You forgot to mention the version of Windows that you are using and this little piece of information is important to provide concise instructions in getting to the dialog box window color and appearance .

  In Windows 7, right click on the desktop and choose personalize. When new personalization window opens, click on window color down. Your options may be in the new window window color and appearance , or you may need to click on Advanced appearance settings of the dialog box window color and appearance .

  With the help of a printer C410e/HP Photosmart Premium e-ALL-IN-ONE, I went through the original ink cartridges without any problem.  I have received warnings that the ink was low and bought the HP 564XL cartridges and installed according to the instructions.  Now, the output seems only to print the color inks, but not black.  After trying help indicating to try pulling the plug for 30 seconds and then plug, I got about 2 pages of output stained and white pages and then again.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  I solved this by buying another cartridge of black ink.   Guess I got ripped off on my previous purchase.  The two were the same shop HP ink cartridges.

  We have a new color HP LaserJet 500 M551.  It is on a network, of course.  We have no area and have rather a working group.  We are a public library and I would like to restrict this machine to print in color on some computers of boss.

  I want to just disable printing color for some facilities, then, of course, prevent users from changing this setting in the printer preferences.

  That's what I did.

  Web Jetadmin allows you to import, pre-configure, then export the driver.  The first pilot exported, transformed has not worked for me.  I did a comparison of files between the exported files and those who came with the CD.  I found that the CFG file was, in fact, different.  Great!  A change has been made!  Always exported driver would not work.  I copied the contents of the CD complete installation to USB, just traded the CFG file, and the installation went well with the color being disabled.

  Don't know why the exported files driver did not work, but, at least, the config arrived when I needed.

• HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: Why do I need to install the color when I never use color?

  I just ran black ink. I replaced the black cartridge with a new one one XL.  Now it tell me I need to replace one of the color cartridges to print just in black.  I never use the color and do not want to buy color cartridges. Is there away around him?  The message appears on my printer that I can't print until I have replace the cyan cartridge.  So stupid!
