The project import items, why is "no sequence"?

I'm new to Prem CS5 and am evaluating. I created a project into components and importing (conversion) in CS5 is reports ' Video Filter missing: Æ.» ADBE ObjectTracking' and when it loads the timeline shows "no sequences.

In elements, the project has a lot of video tracks, overlays, storytelling, etc. on the timeline.

Where can I find this in CS5?

Note that all resources are present in the browser of the 'project '.

Double click on the sequence in the project Panel.

    I just downloaded the full version of first Elements 9 for my Mac.  The project I had created with the trial version that I've been led to believe would cease to have the black bar on the video once I have downloaded and installed the full version.  The black bar is still there.  Is there anything else I need to do to make it disappear?

    The only thing that had happened was that during the initial operation of the FF, when it connects on the Mozilla site, I lost my Internet (modem) connection and not a not complete this initial contact. Bookmarks, etc seem to work, I can not just simply import from the old browser.

  • Change the Date Format for the previously imported items

    Hi, I'm a newbie to Lightroom with 3.3 being my first experience.  I looked in quite a few threads looking for my question, so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before.

    I have recently imported/moved 45 GB of pictures in my library and changed the Format of the Date in the way that I thought that I would - I was wrong.  I imported using this format:

    2011-02-02

    So, I have hundreds of folders listed as:

    2011 02-02 148 (pics)

    2011-02-03 2 (pics)

    2011-02-15 15 (pics)

    2011-03-01 1 (pic)

    2011-03-02 30 (pics)

    etc...

    I would like to look like her to have folders roots with the years, months and days then.  I guess I need to format:

    2011/2011-02-02

    Say that it's the right format I expected to have imported with, is there a way to change this without having to delete the catalog and import it back all my photos?

    Thanks for your time

    If you want the same files under a folder parent 2011 instead of all at the same level?  You can add the 2011 folder and then drag and drop in the files LR Panel to pull those records in there.

    If you want years then month then the days you want the one with all the slashes - 03/02/2011

    That said, it's not like you're shooting a lot, then I'd go to this subject a little differently if you have piles of records to settle.  I have a folder of 2011 and simple month folders in this (01, 02, something like that) and then I would use metadata filters to find all the photos of January and drag the photos themselves in January record and repeat for the other 11 months.  Once you have done this, you can remove empty folders of day.  For small numbers, I wouldn't worry about breaking it down into a folder per day, so in the import dialog box in the future I would just select 2011/02.  You like.

    If you have changed pictures in LR yet, it would be quicker to start a new catalog and re-import and leave the LR to move them into your chosen folder structure.

  • Store a sequence of multiple contents in the list of items in project as an article?

    I have a complete sequence of clips, titles and sound, which can be changed later. I want to keep this sequence in the item list (the upper left of the image) as a single element, so that I can now erase it from the timeline and extract it later under the compound shape. I know a sequence can be nested within an element, but I can change its contents. I know copy/paste of a another project file works, but this sequence is a part of a great video and needs good access to the project. Are there methods to do? Thank you!

    New Canvas.jpg

    You create a sequence (with a name), and then you use it to change.

    Named sequence remains in the tray of the project even if you shut up the timeline.

    It is saved with the project, be it open or closed.

    Open and you can work on it.  Close cant... purpose and you're always there for when you want to open.

    TIP: If you use the "lazy" method to create a NEW sequence by dragging a Clip on the NEW ICON... remember exchange the name of the sequence.  Sequence takes the name of the element with this method... which can lead to confusion when trying to find a sequence in the project bin

  • Why some items in 'Open an existing project' have just the name of the project and others have access to the entire file path?

    I have SP1 2012 LabVIEW and on the main screne of LabVIEW selecrt "show projects".

    Why some elements of 'Existing Open' (project) have just the name of the project and others have access to the entire file path?

    Examples of two lines in the list of projects.

    Ping.lvproj (with a path: C:\Users\mlevine\Documents\MPCE EQT\EQT Software\Ping.lvproj)

    C:\Users\mlevine\Documents\Common package Mission trainer (CMPT) \SUW Surface Warfare\Weapon permission Panel (WAP) \WAP LabVIEW Software\WAP fire authorization server 28 April 2015

    No chance, it's because I made a copy of this software and stored on a network drive power off and it went out of this network drive?

    So if LabVIEW sees two or more versions of the same software, he decides to use the name to differentiate between full path?

    I'd still rather it shows just the name of the project and if you hover over the name it shows the full path.

    Thank you

    Mark

    If you have opened a project of the same name from a different location, it is when it shows the full path both - in this case showing just the name of the project would not help because it would be the same thing!

  • Why my sequence does not disappear after the export of the project?

    After a late night of editing, I made and exported the project (mp4). This morning the customer requested a change, but when I open the project, media source is here. There is no sequence, and I could not find the file. Suggestions?

    (First project in Premiere Pro after several years of use of Premiere Elements).

    the sequence should be there, but I have nothing.

    Well, the only two possibilities are that you just have not yet found, or someone really delete.

    If you remember the name of the sequence, you can search for it at the top of the project Panel.

  • Removed some source files to clean up the project, ended up remove the clips in my sequence. I thought it would just appear as "media offline". Any way to recover them?

    I'm working on a big project and I had multiples of a lot of source files.  I deleted the duplicates in the interest to consolidate and clean up all this.  Warning messages jumped upwards, I could delete the files that were used, but in the past, he's always just showed up as "media disconnected", so I wasn't worried.  Now I'm looking through some of these sequences, and a lot of the clips are just disappeared completely.  Is it possible to recover?  Because she auto-enregistre, the new version of the project file has already been registered with all missing items.  I can't just Ctrl-Z it.  Help, please! Thank you!

    In Premiere Pro, if you delete a file at the OS level, you will see Offline media, but the issue real clip will remain in your order - offline, of course. However, if you remove items in the project Panel, which is what it looks like you could have done - all article clip to sequence that refer to these elements is also deleted. This is why they are called 'master clips,' because they determine the aspect and the existence of all the clips and the sub-items created from them.

    Assuming you have AutoSave enabled, you must have at least a few versions of your project that you could come back, hopefully before deletion. Look in the folder specified for your project AutoSave and find one just prior to the date and time when you did the deletion. You will probably want to make a copy of this and paste it into your main project folder, so that all the media links remain the same, and then open it. If all that was missing is back, you ready to move forward; If not, check out some of your other backup automatically.

  • The difference between the project settings and the settings of the sequence?

    As the title says, I don't understand why we have to select project settings when you create a new project. If a project can contain different sequences severel with different parameters, is it really important what are the parameters of the project?

    When you create a new project, you are presented with a menu of

    the sequence (not the project settings), to choose settings.

    You can skip this step by pressing "Cancel", then import your media

    and create the type of sequence that best adapts to your images.

    A single project can contain any number of different sequence types.

  • Replace the charger in the project with sequence Panel

    Hello! I would like to ask a question on the simplification of workflow that is walk around in my mind for years:

    Is it possible to replace an element in the project with a sequence Panel?

    The reason why: I have a music-video with LOTS of cuts between relatively little overall clips. For the adjustment of the colors in the first (or otherwise), I like to keep as much space for easy modifications as possible until rendering and so create a sequence for each clip where I apply these effects at once. In this way, I don't have to go through each occurrence of the sequence in my calendar to change the rating. While this works well if you have done the part of each movie clip before the cut, I have no idea how to achieve this easily once you already have your project cut with clips instead of clip-sequences.

    Is there another way for the effects "on the scale of the clip" that I'm missing? Thanks in advance for the advice and help.
    Best regards!

    If I understand your workflow?

    Can have a look at the ranking of the main element.

  • Why then I right click on my files in the project area/bins in the new Premiere Pro CC 2015?

    I recently updated my first to the latest version (Release 2015.1; Adobe Premiere Pro CC v9.1).

    Since the update, I just couldn't do a right-click on my sequence files in my part of the project. I am able to do a right click on the clips and other files, but not the sequences.

    I use a right click on the clips to quickly duplicate the sequence in order to save previous versions of my changes.

    I can still duplicate by selecting the sequence, then go in Edition > duplicate... but right click is just so much more practical and useful while I'm editing.

    Is there a particular reason why a right click is no longer available on the sequence files in creative projects?

    R. Hernandez

    I just discovered this problem as well where I could not right click on the clips in my calendar.

    What worked for me was to change / reset my workspace.

    Seems to work fine now.

  • Identify any items in the project window?

    I don't know if it is within the limits of what AE script can do, but is there a way to identify all types of layer in the project exclusively window? I essentially tries to grab the item, check if it has certain properties, and then use that to identify what kind of point is (IE record sound, video, adjustment layer etc...).

    This code is pretty rudementary and obviously missing things, but it's the general substance of what I'm trying to do. I need an easy way to accurately identify all the elements in the project window.

    function fileType(item){
                var curItemType;

            if(item instanceof FolderItem && item.parentFolder != "Root" && item.parentFolder != item.name){
                    return "Subfolder";
                }
            if(item instanceof FolderItem){
                    return "Folder";
                }
             if(item.nullLayer == true){
                    return "Null";
                }
            if(item instanceof ShapeLayer){
                    return "Shape Layer"
        }

            if(item.adjustmentLayer == true){
                    return "Adjustment Layer";
        }
            if(item.hasVideo == true && item.hasAudio == false && item.duration == 0){
                    return "Picture";
                }
             if(item.hasVideo == true && item.hasAudio == true && item.duration != 0){
                    return "Video";
                }
             if(item.hasVideo == false && item.hasAudio == true){
                    return "Audio";
                }
            if(item instanceof CompItem){
                    return "Comp";
                }

        }

    Thank you, and I apologize in advance for posting so often on the forums.

    -Nate

    For items, you can not check if it is used as a solid, adjustLayer, etc. Because an item can be used more than once, how can we know the layers from the same source has the same parameters, such as adjustmentLayer or nullLayer?

    The number of types of elements is less than your thinking.

    Regarding the types of layer, a part of my script that save info from any layer of file based on xml and create new layers from this file can be useful for you.

    Here is the code:

    var layerInf = new Object();

    layerInf.type = "null";

    If (thisLayer instanceof TextLayer) {}

    layerInf.type = 'Text ';

    } else

    If (thisLayer instanceof LightLayer) {}

    layerInf.type = "light";

    layerInf.lightType = thisLayer.lightType;

    } else

    If (thisLayer instanceof ShapeLayer) {}

    layerInf.type = "form";

    } else

    If (thisLayer instanceof AVLayer) {}

    If (thisLayer.source.mainSource instanceof SolidSource & thisLayer.nullLayer! = true &!) () thisLayer.source instanceof CompItem)) {}

    layerInf.type = "solid";

    layerInf.solidColor = thisLayer.source.mainSource.color;

    } ElseIf (thisLayer.source.mainSource instanceof FileSource & thisLayer.nullLayer! = null &!) () thisLayer.source instanceof CompItem)) {}

    layerInf.sound = thisLayer.hasAudio;

    If {(layerInf.sound)

    layerInf.type = "VideoWithSound";

    } else {}

    layerInf.type = "VideoWithoutSound";

    }

    } ElseIf (thisLayer.source instanceof CompItem) {}

    layerInf.type = "Comp."

    }

    } else

    If (thisLayer instanceof AVLayer) {}

    If {(thisLayer.nullLayer)

    layerInf.type = "Null";

    }

    } else

    If (thisLayer instanceof CameraLayer) {}

    layerInf.type = "camera";

    }

    In fact, there is another important thing on layer types:is the model a model drawn with RADIUS? So, we have to check as follows:

    layerInfo.geoType = "null";

    If (layerInfo.type! = 'null' & layerInfo.three == true & layerInfo.ray == true) {}

    If (layerInfo.type == "Shape" | layerInfo.type == 'Text') {}

    layerInfo.geoType = "small";          has no source

    } else {}

    layerInfo.geoType = "large";          at the source

    }

    }

  • Error message: the preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not find. These sequences will be changed to use a custom sequence implementation. To continue editing using the original preset, as

    Hi all

    I can't open a project PP without this error message that appears:

    "The preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not find. These sequences will be changed to use a custom sequence implementation. To continue editing using the preset original, exit the application without saving the project, reinstall all third-party components that are needed, and reopen the project'.»

    What I had been doing before that to happen was a PP project using sequences ProRes for editing and editing multicamera. Several cameras didn't work very well and after a few attempts of difficulty that I gave up and finished the work of cutting 3 layers of video instead. SOUL refused to make the finished three lasting more than 1 hr sequences so rendered video sequences PP. finals

    I tried to remove the plists for SOUL, PP and QT repair disk permissions and restarted, but there was no improvement.

    Customer is satisfied for now, but will want to return on this work to a later date so decided to uninstall and reinstall SOUL and PP in the hope that the two would be willing to work properly when needed again. SOUL works very well in conjunction with another PP project, but now I can't open the PP project in question without the above error message appears.

    After searching on the net, it seems that the problem may be caused by ProRes but I could not find a definitive solution to the problem. Does anyone know either:

    1. How do I solve this problem?

    2. If I chose the "modified by using a custom sequence parameter", can I be sure that my footage will look the same, even if they do not use ProRes? The final format of the deliverable will be mp4 so as long as the overall appearance does not change so I can afford a change in the edit codec. It's just that with three sequences of more than an hour long, I don't want working days to be ruined.

    Other older PP projects of mine open and work properly.

    First CC 8.2.0 Pro

    Media encode CC 8.2.0.54

    10.10.2 OSX

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Duncan.

    Web chat Adobe find a solution.

    Open the PP. project

    Export your project or the sequence in Final Cut Pro XML form.

    Set up a new project PP.

    Import Final Cut Pro XML file.

    This will take you to the top race.

    Since getting back to this publishing project, I found that some things will be lost or change using XML:

    You will lose the position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, dynamic audio fx, the possibility to open a multi camera clip and change the display of the camera.

    You keep the cut points, crop fx.

    Not perfect but only took a few hours to save 3 working days.
