  Don't resize the output but rather give up your comp full HD in a widescreen standard PAL model, mount the HD model horizontally and then return the new layout without using resizing controls.

  Second option, made your FullHD comp a codec to master of production based frame (prorez) and then use Adobe Media Encoder and install a preset PAL widescreen Square Pixel. Here's my Pal Prorez 422 HQ widescreen preset. That's what I use for all applications for Pal ProRez of my clients.

  I have an AE full working file I've worked for the last month and today, it is shocking, an export through the queue of rendering with Apple ProRes 422 crashed on the first image.

  I have troubleshooted by removing the preferences of 2015 for CC AE, AE CC 2015, resettlement through the CC uninstall app.  Reduce the project, made test files to different codecs and determined that it is indeed the ProRes Codec, because made without loss of product and file Codec Animation without any problem.

  I think I have an idea as to what has caused this, I have another concert, requiring some FCP X for certain exports and I installed it, not realizing that he would blow away my FCP 7 Suite.  I had to spend some time, reinstall 7 FCP FCP X alongside earlier this week and went through the trial stages.  I confirmed earlier that the ProRes codec exists because I returned to ProRes in FCP X, but I wonder if this may have damaged something with the codec for AE.

  Curious to know if anyone has any suggestions, I'm on a 2011 17 "MacBook Pro 2.5 GHZ i-7, running all the files on a server RAID Thunderbolt TB 12 8 GB of Ram.  Before you reinstall, all cache files were redirected to the RAID server for performance, now, after the relocation of the media Cache model (shared between SOUL / body / AE) remains on the raid, however, the Disk Cache resets to default Mac library location.

  Plugins for the AE file are all standard plugins, I have Trapcode and a few other standard plugins installed, but do not use them for this project.  I am particularly pleased to provide more information, just ask and I'll get back to you.  Thank you!

  So, do not know what happened, I'm guessing that FCPX / FCP7 introduces some quirks with the package ProCodecs from Apple.  After execution permissions on my server, repair permissions YASU (yet another system utility), I finally made it and then gritted my teeth with the software update - not usually something I do in the middle of something.  Updated software provided a specific to FCP X update ProCodec which seems to have solved the problem.  So yay me.  Thanks for listening.

  To clarify: ye olde Final Cut Pro 7, you were editing ProRes clips and then get out a Quicktime with the appropriate settings, it would NOT re - compress the source ProRes, just copy > paste individual images into a new Quicktime (ProRes intra-image).

  In Premiere Pro, it export media in the same way, if your source clips are ProRes and you export a ProRes Quicktime? Or does do a re coverage - compress to ProRes from the timeline to create the new ProRes?

  If you only cut or edit the clip, do any other changes (for example: do not add effects, etc) and then export to the same codec with the clip settings (rate, size of the image, etc.), then Yes. • Premiere Pro CS6 generates the HUGE file - settings of the encoder help please

  Use PPCS6 to create a 6-minute AVI file. The video source is a screenshot of Camtasia AVI for an application that runs on 3 monitors, making the screen/video resolution 5760 x 1200 with a rate of 30. I need the same resolution/output format (Camtasia won't do that, where my first use).

  The original screenshot is slightly less than 2 GB.

  The output of AVI since Media encode is 45 GB that is simply too big to use.

  Is there some settings I can use which will create a file of about the same size (less than 3 GB), and always look as sharp as the initial capture?

  My current encoder settings are:

  Codec: Microsoft video 1

  Quality: 90

  Width: 5760

  Height: 1200

  Frame rate: 30

  Field order: lower first

  Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)

  Depth: 8 bit

  Key frame interval: 8

  Optimize images checked.

  Use of Camtasia files their own codec TechSmith (TSCC) that is highly optimized for Screen Capture where virtually nothing changes from one image to the image, and realistic you can beat it with any one of the default codecs, which are designed for full-motion video. With MV1 file size is what I would expect from such a massive resolution. Also, do you really need 30 images per second? Most of the screencaps OK look at 12 15 or even at a push.

  You should be able to encode to AVI/TSCC, if you have Camtasia on the same machine as Prem, otherwise you can download the pack codec for free from the Web of Techsmith site.

  and every time I open the render queue > output Module > QuickTime > settings of Codec

  I get the little dialog box "adjust the parameters in the dialog provided by the codec, and then close when you are finished. [Foreground] »

  but the dialog box containing the settings is tiny, all 160px tall and the parameters go well below the 160px cut point.

  There is no way to click on the options below in the window.

  Previous versions of AE give me this problem on the same computer.

  Confirmed that the Avid Codecs package THE 2.2.1 does not provide this.   However, we heard that Avid is working on a version with the fix, but it is not yet available.

  To work around the problem, you can save a template file output Module (.aom) of After Effects CS4 with the settings you want for Avid DNxHD, and that import into After Effects CS5.

  Some information on this issue might be useful.  This is a bit complicated and requires some understanding of the QuickTime API.  Which I don't have but smart people have explained to me it and I think I can pass on to you.

  There is no 64-bit version of QuickTime, Adobe has created an intermediate 32-bit process that first Pro CS5 and After Effects can talk.  He called Adobe QT32 server and you can see running in the activity monitor or Task Manager when the After Effects or Premiere Pro are active.  When you press the button of the Codec settings in the dialog box Options of QuickTime in After Effects, a request is made to the server QT32 to get the dialog box for controls of codec via QuickTime.  (QT32 Server is also responsible for the small box with the key 'Bring forward', which is here to make sure that you do not lose the settings behind other windows codec dialog box.)

  Here's the important part: Apple QuickTime API specifies two different ways, by which applications can get the codec controls UI.   Either by calling the QuickTime settings full all user interface (what is After Effects CS4), or by asking just for the codec settings specific in a dialog box separate.  First Pro CS5 and After Effects use this method because it simplifies the user interface and exchange between the application 64-bit and server QT32 process.

  The problem occurs when the codec developer is not correctly build the separating the container dialog box controls codec.  This is necessary for this second method API used by After Effects CS5.  It is not necessary for the QuickTime settings full UI, which manages these controls.  And since most applications use the user interface of the full QuickTime settings, it is possible that the developer has programmed the dialog box, but it has not been fully tested.  Or maybe they believed just that no one used this second API and does not at all program.

  Problems with codec settings dialog boxes are not limited to Avid DNxHD.  The AJA codecs, for example, do not display a dialog box at all when you press the button of the Codec settings in After Effects CS5, which I suspect means that they have not defined the limits of their dialog.  Of course, we contacted the AJA on this subject, and I confess to not having updated my AJA codecs in a while so they may well have solved the problem.

  For what it's worth, all top-codecs QuickTime from Apple provide the correct user interface.  So do some other codecs third and made for some of their Avid codecs.  For example, the Avid DV100 codec uses a separate, same dialog box when you use the user interface of the full QuickTime settings.  Select the codec Avid DV100 in After Effects CS4 and you will see the Options button in the lower left that opens the same dialog box that goes directly to After Effects CS5.
