• Able to import images that based on the rating stars?

  Hi all

  I am under Lightroom 2.6 and I wonder if there is any way to import based on the rating stars?

  I use another program (photomechanical) quickly review my pictures, choose my selects and change my IPTC data when I'm shooting at an event and I can use the system of star ratings in this program to mark my select photos and votes will actually carry over to LR2.  However, what I was wondering is, is it possible to have LR2 import these files nominal stars?  Say that I rate all my selects as a 1 star.  Is it possible to have LR2 import only nominal images stars 1 instead of all images in the folder of files?  I know that I can sort once they have been imported, but I'm trying to reduce the time of importation.  I tell myself why import if I don't need to import them.  :-)

  Any help or ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.  :-)

• Group select the rating stars not adding or entered into Win 8.

  PC, Win 8, i-7.

  When I select a group of images by clicking on image 1 and change, click on the last image (now all are selected)... then hit the 3 star rating... only the first frame gets rated.   Same thing for keywords.   It doesn't happen that on my new 8 'horse power' victory computer I bought just for the photography of heavy work.  Works fine on the old computer backup (win 7) & the one before that (win xp).

  You either must be mode grid when you multiple selection and try to apply notes and key words to all selected, or if you just want to stay in Loupe mode and multiple selection using the film, then you must have active Auto-Sync.

• Badges and the rating stars are Gone

  Opening 'badges & stars score' used is displayed under thumbnails. I could see if an image has been edited with a plug-in. yesterday, I must have hit a button that hid the insignia and the sides. How can I get back them?

  I use Aperture 3.5.1.

  Then click on the button "Edit".

• How to keep the rating stars between catalogs?

  I'm sure that this has been addressed, but can't seem to find it. My question is simple: I have evaluated the images of guardian in a catalog, and I want to bring in another catalog with these intact star ratings. I saved the metadata in the file, and I "xmp writing to the file" checked. I'm dealing with RAW and JPEG, LR OSX 10.7.5 4.2 what is the solution?

  The simplest solution is to use a single catalog for all your photos. Then there is no problem now or in the future, to ensure that the two catalogs have the same significance of the notes (and many other benefits as well).

  But if you must have multiple catalogs, you can transfer the sides to start like this: select the photos you want in a catalog, then the file-> export of catalog, then go to the catalog and the files 2nd-> import from catalog. This ensures that the meaning of the notes correspond to the time where you do. Evolution of the coast to stars would you repeat the process as often as necessary, because you can't keep these two catalogues in synchronization otherwise. Where the suggestion in paragraph 1

• LR4 files imported with the rating stars

  I don't know it is a very basic question... one of my catalogs LR4 matter files image with a 1 * side already applied to all the images. It does not happen with 3 other catalogs. I guess it is somewhere in the large group dialogue, but I do not see how to turn it off.

  Any advice is welcome.

  How do you know that GA or any other service of statcounter is accurate? It's quite accurate. GA uses the same technology to save its stats like any other statcounter. Not looking for any meaningful stats, just page views by visitors. GA provides no useful statistics anyway and they can not be displayed to visitors, so forget the GA to your needs.

  People care about stats success. When I replied to your thread I saw how many views there and who determined my decision to respond. If there are multiple views and several answers, I guess that the wire is too close, and I would not answer. View stats make a difference and viewers care of the it. When I seqrch a video from YouTube, I usually choose to display the result with the most views. Nobody cares about stats success huh? It's a complete load of Bull. Nobody cares about people who say nobody cares about stats success when you're in a thread asking how to hit his stats on a website is a more accurate statement.

• How can I remove the grey stars in scoring for iTunes 12.3.3.17?

I've recently updated 12.3.3.17 on my Macbook and in previous iterations, I was able to remove the gray stars in the roundabout way ranking column (with 'Art Show' visible and the edition of the album of note, having 'Album Rating' "visible and edit there, etc.", but now it won't let me change the rating?)

  Does anyone know how to solve this problem this time?

  I don't think that there is a built-in way to do it.

  To call the dialog box with the Menu bookmarks instead of Unsorted Bookmarks, you can use one of these methods:

  • CTRL + d
  • Right-click on an empty area of the page, then click the star on the shortcut menu
  • (menu bar) Menu bookmarks > bookmark this Page

  Alright. Some screenshots would be helpful, it's just to help tell me exactly whats going, but I'll see what I can do with what I got. If you don't have the Blue Star (bookmarks icon) on your toolbar, this is how to get there: go to the menu bar on the upper right corner, and then click Customize. It should be in a list of icons that are not in your toolbar. You can then drag it there. Just take a look at the attached screenshots if it does not make sense.

  You can use the shortcut Ctrl + D (bookmark > bookmark this Page) to have the page my favorites in the Menu folder bookmarks.

  In previous versions of Firefox, when you click on the star next to the url, you can add this site to your Favorites. Another click and you can edit some fields on this bookmark, URL, file, etc...

  But with FF17, the Description field is gone. You can only find when you manage your bookmarks, which is really easy to use.
