• Advanced registry optimizer reports many errors after Microsoft updates

  I recently downloaded 22 this so-called upgrades and installed on a computer with zero (0) errors before downloads.  After the download and installation of my Registry Optimizer program advanced recorded 266 errors as follows.  Active X and com = 16 errors; Types of files = 12 errors; history = 1 error; software = 50 errors. and Deep Scan = 187 errors.  My computer would be difficult to restart and was so slow to respond that I couldn't believe it.  I managed to run the Advanced Registry Optimizer, which exposed the errors and he was able to fix everything, but 3.  Is this a result of sloppy programming or what? I don't know if I have to use microsoft update programs again. Any comments?

• Interactive reports - keeping reports saved after import new version of the page

  We have created an application (Apex 4.2) with lots of interactive reports. In production, users have created their own private reports.

  When I change an IR (eg. Add an additional column) export, import this page in production, all reports registered with the users of the page and are deleted!

  Is there a way to avoid this?

  I created a procedure that creates an export of userdefined reports. This export is saved as sql file. After an import of page update in the PROD environment, I have to run the export of userdefined reports! It is not yet tested with all types of filtering, grouping sorting, etc. But it seems to work very well.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When I copy a region that I created the form master / detail report columns are duplicated. I am actually copy the entire page, but I had other cases where I just copy the desired region and the columns have been duplicated it as well. And, of course, there is no way I know to remove the columns of the shape. But I doubt it would help because, in some cases, I've tried - the columns seems to be 'related' in that a change to a copy of the column has been duplicated in the other, when changes have been applied.
  
  In the example (below), there are three areas on the page and the problem occurs in region 2. (I think I'll probably remove the first region). He was ripping trying to get the report of region 2 and changes formish tabular region 3 on the same page. I made this in Oracle 11.2 in our APEX 4.1 and imported to 4.2. You can see here:

Basically the report picks up just downloaded file ID and allows me to delete the file by having Hiden point Page (P2_DELETE_ID) and before the process of header:

But when I download the update, all I get is 'Java 8 Update 40', which says that my computer is an older version. I can't find info on a later version of 14.9.   To update Firefox - now, it does not connect what either. I have RESET firefox, restarted the PC, disabled all extensions, and changed the proxy for any proxy settings. IE works fine.

  dbernarducci Hello, normally these problems are caused by a security/firewall software which does not recognize and therefore blocks the new versions of firefox. If please delete all the rules of the program for firefox to your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.
