The restore Cd Acer is the CD of "Backup"?

I'm trying to restore my Extensa 4420 to the original. I have not bought the CD got Acer $$ a number of years, but now they have no interest in helping because my laptop is out of warranty.

After using the Sys CD #1 instructions require "backup" - CD. None of the CD set, that I purchased from Acer is therefore lableed. I have two disks in the system, a set of two CD 'Recover' and one 'restore CD. The instructions seem to ask randomly 'next' CD or a "Backup CD".

I tried 4 different combinations start and use of the CDs for the "next" CD diffΘrents  The better with that I get is an error message

"The system registry contains invalid paths. Installation cannot continue. Image of this system has been applied without guaranteeing that drive letter assignments would be between computers.

How can I force the Acer CD to complete the restoration process?

Contacted Acer. They had not interest is help me solve the problem with their defective support other than suggesting I try and find a 2nd started to buy.

I eventually decided to remove all traces of the faulty Acer software from my computer

  • Need help for the restoration of the level 1 backup

    Hello!

    I am trying to create my database on a new server using hot rman incremental backups.

    I already restored and retrieved my database of level 0 on the new server, but I am not able to restore/recover the level 1 backup of the new server. I transported irom backup level 1 the old server to the new. What I need to get lvl 1 bkp only or also to restore it.

    Can someone help me on this problem by specifying the steps to restore/recover backups incremental level 1?

    Thank you!

    If the recovery has been completed and "tables are not present", this means that the tables were not present at this SNA. Either they were created after the SNA GOLD were dropped from the later the RCS.

    You must have block change tracking for restoration. It is used for backups only (and it of okay if she was present or not in the backup).

  • Restore to the point of backup with select for update

    I have I problem with my application I will try to post a simple test to demonstrate.
    The problem is that after rollack to backup session does not release lock if there is a sleep between.

    Here's a simple test case.
    create table t1 (a number);

    insert into t1 (a) values (1);

    commit;

    create or replace procedure xx_test_1 is

             from t1
            where a = 1
       for update nowait;

       DBMS_LOCK.sleep (seconds => 10);

       rollback to mysavepoint1;
    end xx_test_1;

    create or replace procedure xx_test_2 is
    begin
       update t1
          set a = 2
        where a = 1;
    end;
    /
    In session 1 execute proc1.
    Session1 > exec xx_test_1;

    In session 2 perform procedure while the session 1 is "dormant".
    SESSION2 > exec xx_test_2;

    After some finite time of session and must release the lock on the record.
    But session 2 guard blocked by session 1.

    help apreciated.
    Thank you
    Miguel

    I don't think it's because you have a call to DBMS_LOCK. SLEEP. I think it's just a coincidence because it allows for enough time for you to launch a call for another session. Here's the relevant part of the SQL reference manual:

    Releases all table locks and line acquired from the point of backup. Other operations that have requested access to the lines locked once the save point must continue to wait until the transaction is committed or rolled back. Other operations who have not already requested the lines can request and immediately access lines.

  • While the iCloud recovery backup... continue to go back to the screen HELLO?

    I am currently trying to reactivate an iPhone with the last backup to iCloud.

    The iPhone asked me for the first update to iOS 9.3.1 (because the previous backup on previous iPhone did in 9.3.1 I guess... (and although this new iPhone showed 9.3.1!...)

    Now I'm gone screen HOLA-HELLO, entered a network wi - fi available, connected with my operator (with the right SIM card of course - phone work - test received call).

    However, now, so that this treatment with the recovery of backup, when I let the phone go to the screensaver, it keeps going back to the screen HELLO... Is * normal *?  Or should I suspect a problem with the iPhone 5?

    (Just bought from a dealer - it is seller-renovated, reliable source)

  • How do you get the most recent backup that always has this app on it?

    My 2 years has removed an application in the course of the past week. He regularly plays with my phone, so I have no idea when he managed to do so. I do iCloud backups every night and have this updated app to make backups as well. Is there a way to check the applications included in backups to restore the most recent backup with this app still on it and I hope that the latest data? The only option I can think of right now is to keep remove and restore my phone until I get to a backup with the application, but this seems incredibly long.

    You can see a breakdown of the contents of the backup of the last backup. If you know that it has been deleted some time in the past week, restore a backup from a week ago. If there was some new data on the phone since then you do not want to lose, then Yes, you would probably try the trial and error method.

  • Setting of the difficulty a backup for a replacement of 6 iCloud

    When I tried to choose the most recent backup everything by creating a replacement 6 s he said that it is not compatible with iOS 9.1 on this iPhone.  My latest backup to iCloud shows iOS 9.2.  What should I do?

    Update the new phone to iOS 9.2 and then you will be able to restore the backup. Just skip the restore option for now, and activate. Then go to settings > general > software update. Download and install the update. Then go to settings > general > reset > erase content and settings. Will erase the phone. When you turn on the phone again, you will be able to restore the backup iOS 9.2.

  • Door key lost in the time machine backup

    Dear community,

    Because I had trouble with the speed of my MacBook Pro (and nothing else developed), I had to set up entirely new.

    Before installing El Capitan, my MacBook Pro (starting 2011) ran on Yosemite 10.10.5. I made two backups with time machine, generated a bootable El Capitan installation USB key, in format Macintosh HD, installed at El Capitan and ran all the updates. The system works well, everything works perfectly and my Mac is fast again. Now, I manually copy things that I need in my system of charges.

    Here, the problem is: I can't find the old keychain file in the time machine backup!

    Keychain works with the keys stored in iCloud. However, the other buttons are gone.

    As I discovered, ~/Library/Keychains is hidden. I did it visible on my system running. However, this does not work in the backup file. It remains hidden or - worse - have not been stored in the backup. I don't know that I have excluded from time machine backup only two totally different folders (dropbox and movies).

    You have any ideas how I can find my keychain (login.keychain if my search was right) in the time machine backup?

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    Time Machine, please press the shift-command-C key combination. The windshield will show the mounted volumes. All snapshots should now be accessible. Select the one you want and search for files to restore.

    If you need to restore from a backup of the hidden user library folder, first select a snapshot, and then press shift-command-G. A go to the folder dialog box opens. In this document, you enter the path to the folder. The dialog box will help you by automatically filling parts of the path when you start typing.

    The path starts with the slash character ("/"). Enter that. The rest of the parts is separated by slashes.

    The next part is the date and time of the current snapshot. Enter a '2', and the rest of the date should be filled in automatically. Press the right arrow key to access the end of the path. Enter a slash to start the next game.

    Next is the volume name (usually "Macintosh HD" unless you assigned a different name.) Start typing, then jump to the end and enter a slash.

    The next part is 'Users', followed by a slash.

    Then is your short user name. It is also the name of your home folder, which is represented by an icon of the House in the sidebar of a Finder window.

    Finally, enter "Library", and then press return. You should now be in the library folder. From there, you can move like in the Finder. You can also select another snapshot of the same folder.

    Hello

    The ASR (automated system recovery) tool must have a disk for restoration purposes. The best option, if you really want to use ASR, is a floppy of USB external as suggested by chrisamiller.

    You can also follow this procedure to create the ASR files without the floppy drive and then copy them to another location to create a floppy disk or, if you're lucky, your PC can boot from a USB key (I never tried to start ASR on a key, do not know if it will work or not, but it might be worth it) :

    "You can"trick"the ASR in the race without a floppy drive." When it gets to the point where he writes on the diskette to cancel it. He writes two files, which are used for recovery, in the Windows\Repair directory. After completing your ASR copy these two files (files asr.sif and asrpnp.sif) to a network location and then make the diskette also. Make sure you update your disk whenever you make a new ASR or your backup will be watered.

    Or, you can use a USB floppy drive. It is sometimes the only option, especially if you need to install SCSI or SATA drivers during the recovery. »

    a: when you start the backup, it may be in Wizard mode. Follow the link to the Advanced Mode.
    b. Backup tab.
    c. click on the box next to the drive you want to back up so that it has a blue box.

  • Windows backup - Some Confusion over the Date of backup

    I have back up once a week on Removable Drive L:

    When we look at control panel > backup and restore, I see that my last backup was on January 3, 2011, as planned.  I also see that three files have not been saved because backup Windows could not find them.  No problem.

    When I look at the Drive: Explorer > computer > l: However, I don't see that the folder that contains the backup is dated 12/26/2010 under "update."  I remember correctly, is that it is all the time that I turned on my backup to a C: partition on my removable disk L:, probably create this folder on the first backup on removable disk L:

    As time passes, the backup on L: folder should not reflect the date of the last backup?  How can I know that the backup works (see other than the correct data in the control panel > Backup and Restore)?

    Here are the results: right click on the inf file: containing the backup (the file displays the "Save" icon), then the properties > Previous Versions shows no available versions.  Properties > general tab shows the typical parameters of a file; e.g., size of 0 bytes, date of creation, etc.

    Because it is a folder, there are no properties > Details tab.

    Dating back to the control panel > Backup and Restore > manage space, I see that two backups are stored in the inf file: Reader corresponsding for scheduled backups performed two since I have configured backup for this drive.  Everything seems normal.

    On further reflection, it seems that Windows 7 works normally, because the "Date Modified" column in Explorer mode don't not one) that reflects the changes made to existing files in a folder root or additons b) new files/folders in a folder root were made; rather the 'modified date' refers only to the changes that could be made to the properties of the folder root after its creation that is, in terms of sharing, security, etc.

    Since Windows 7, at least, you have no control over the name of the backup that is created and used for the backup folder, and there is (apparently) no exception to the general rule of Windows about how the "Date Modified" column is - at least in the case of backups - it seems that a user is more or less in "trust me". , rely solely on the information available in the control panel > restore and backup to determne if the backup does not work (other than to do a restore of your time immediately after the backup, not a good idea).

    I guess that the preschoolers old like me just feel more comfortable using the Explorer to display the properties for the actual backup file and see the date of creation.

    Maybe a suggestion that might be implemented in next SP?

    If the settings tab is greyed out then you probably problem of connectivity with VCS. just try to purge the VCS of the list (do not delete but purge it) and re - add new. see if you can get the tab activitated. Also browse CVS to the system > external administrator and check if the connection is active. You can get your VCS, directly from respective VCS Server backup by navigating to the maintenance > backup and restore

    OK, now my query is whether Oracle freeze the data file header and information is stored in the log file of restoration by progression. So if my backup job continues for 30 min and at the same time someone did some update of database, then how these updates to the information written back to the data file after "Alter Database End Backup'.»

    Oracle only blocks data file headers, no body. Modified blocks will be stored in data files (at control points) even in backup mode.
