Hello everyone!

Recently, I installed Windows 7 RTM, everything works perfectly, however, I have a problem with my touchpad that doesn't seem to work. Windows Update installed a synaptic driver, and it does not work. Furthermore, I installed the value on the package, (despite the fact that all the fn keys already worked) and toshiba Alps and synaptic drivers for vista, which doesn't seem to change anything... Read other posts like this mine, I tried to find any option on the touchpad in the bios, but there is no one there in.

    I m a proud owner of the Satellite X 200 with a map single chart (NV8700GT-256). But like most of these screen-no video... Black NV cards. I know, this card can be changed-it s not soldered, but it seems to be a specialized map only made by Toshiba.

    Many sellers (most of them in CN) have these cards and I have googled a lot: NV8700GT with 256 MB or 512 MB. This should be fine without any problem LS - 3443P. But there are other cards sill: LS - 3442P with a chip ATI and 256 or 512 MB of ram. They are used in a note of P200. Some dealers say they are useabe in a 200 X too. The connector seems to be the same as the dimensions of the Board of directors a the place chips. Some say that ATI would be better, cooler and there is no "burn-out". I have no answer until what chip is used-i think it's a series of radeo 2600. Assessment tests provide the same speed as the NV8700GT. But none of them give a real answer - so my question is: has anyone of you experience with this card? Can I choose ATI or upgrade to an NV with 512 MB of ram. Will be my laptop boot up or should I change the bios first? These graphics problems are boring!

    I have senn there are many questions about the maximum amount of ram... I have a DV9000 HP with the same chipset intel PM965M for office. HP says the maximum is 4G (2x2G) as toshi too. (For HP), but this true isn´t! My HP has two modules of 4G with the 2Rx8 specification; 8 tokens, 6400S / 800M, order 8 x 512. With windows vista64 oder w7-64 with no problems. I m going to test it with my toshi after solving the video problem...

    To be honest I don t understand your problem... I mean that it can happen that after a few years of use who dies a part, which is quite normal. You have only a notebook on the electric elements ;)

    Also, you speak with normal users like you and me here. If you want a new view, you need to contact a service provider authorized in your country. These guys you can get a replacement part and they can exchange it too.

  • Webcam chicony green on the Satellite X 200-219

    Don't know if this is right place but I bought a Toshiba Satellite X 200-219 in April and am generally very happy with it.

    There is however a recurring issue with the webcam of chicory on board.
    I can t seem to readjust the settings to get the green image of the normal webcam.
    He did start the clear life then went after only a few weeks and I lived with it until I made a new installation which he healed.
    But now again the question is back

    Research in events, it appears that the windows desktop management refuses to be disabled by the webcam to allow it to adjust its own settings!
    I ve tried a few things and have reached the end of my tether and really don t want to have to continue to do a format.

    As far as I know that webcams have the software supports some parameters which allow to assign color and other settings such as gama, contrast, saturation, hue, etc.
    You should check this and play with these settings.

  • Tecra A10 - pad touch and the keys do not work on Windows 7 x 64

    We have recently done a new install of Windows 7 x 64 on a Toshiba Tecra A10.
    The operating system has taken over most of the drivers, we had to install drivers for the card reader ourselves.

    Our problem is that the touchpad and the buttons work at all.
    The driver displayed in devices such as manager being installed, but that's all. I even installed the control panel of the Alps (Vista x 64) which works very well.
    Have tried the settings "stick and touchpad are automatically invalidated" when you use an external USB mouse, all to nothing done.

    The equipment worked perfectly okay with Windows 7 32 bit installed.

    Maybe it of just a driver issue, I checked the downloads available for Tecra A10 on page of Toshiba and Windows 7 32 bit there is a newer driver available for Windows 7 64 bits do not (no driver). If you use the Vista 64 bit driver

    What you can do is to test the driver for the touchpad for Tecra A11. There is a version more recent for Windows 7 64 bit of Alps Electric so correct. Touchpad driver is not linked so I sure it will also work on your model of m.

  • Satellite M100/200 PSMAAA RAM issue and replacement keyboard

    For the last year my satellite M100/200 PSMAAA-022006 worked rather slow, it takes a long time to open programs and sometimes crashes.

    For me makes sense to check support at gunpoint and then decide what operating system must be installed.

    For me, there are only two options:
