The screen flickers when playing game. With XFX Radeon HD 4670 1 GB _ Windows7

I have Windows 7 64 bit with XFX Radeon HD 4670 1 GB SDDR3 card, my current resolution is 1920 x 1080 with 60 htz, whenever I have to play the game and use a lower resolution for the game then my graphic resolution, the screen flickers (it sparkles in any resolution), it goes black and back. and when I leave the game that I find my real resolution changed the resolution which has been put into play.

My Windows is updated, and I have the latest version of the driver installed on the system from ATI.

It is very annoying. Any help is appreciated.

Narayan

  • Cannot set the screen stretched after playing game. HP Pavilion dv6000 Notebook.

    Hello

Once a game my screen stayed tight, horizontally lying. Normally my screen is returned to normal after closing the game Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, but this time it somehow stuck or something. I checked the resolution: it's 1024 x 768 like it always was, so this isn't the problem. When I "Print screen", the image is quite normal on the other computers, so I think it may be the driver? Do I have to download Driver NVIDIA? I tried, but he says that the driver is not compatible with my hardware. I think I can find one that is compatible, but first I would like to know if this will fix my problem.

I had a contact with HP customer service, and I tried many things. Restart the pc, download the drivers, nothing seems to work. The guy said I had to reinstall windows, and the screen was fine still... Here, there was a simpeler for this solution, but I'm glad that my screen is normal now.

  • Computer freezes (and screen changes colors) when playing games with Windows 7

I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 view a month ago and since then I had problems. I'm going to play a game like Left 4 Dead 2, World of Warcraft, counter-strike: Source, etc and I suddenly freezes. My screen freezes and the colors a bit (some of the colors will turn red and some of the colors will turn to a brighter color, etc.). The sound will also freeze and repeat a few milliseconds what it was. My computer is plugged into a power bar and is kept nice and cold, with a fan who helps him at all times and my window still open - there is some dust out there but I don't think she'd cela.

This happens maybe once or twice every two days, and it has never happened when I'm not in a game. It is not a memory problem, I'm only using about 2 GB, 3 GB when it arrives. I always end up having to press the power button on my computer to restart it.

    Help, please.

    Tyvak,
The first suggestion that Aziz has is not the map upgrade but for the driver update.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, you must update all the drivers for your hardware (graphics, sound, NETWORK, card etc...).  The best way to do it is to go on the hardware manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers.  If you have a name brand PC (Dell, HP, etc.) then they usually all drivers for the hardware, but some (usually the drivers graphics) is perhaps not the most recent.  First, make sure that your drivers are up to date and then test the games. Diagnosis

The video "Refresh" is switching between 60 (on food) and 50 Hz (on battery), and the screen goes momentarily empty.

    Solution

So what about current alternative, office > right click > properties > settings > advanced > monitor. Here, under the display settings, set the refresh rate of the screen at 50 Hertz. After you apply these settings, the flashing problem gets fixed.

  • Once I downloaded the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262, I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger.

It could be a coincidence, but when I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger. I know that when I've updated for a reason that I had to try 3 times before it took. It shows that it is updated. I wonder if I have to uninstall and reinstall. Also, I never use Internet Explorer 8 but when I went there to check I found a plug check link there and it showed over there that Adobe Flash Player necessary update but it was an older version and not a Foxfire had updated me too. Now I'm really confused if it causes a problem. I've never had to control Internet Explorer for plug-ins before. Have always just updated to Foxfire since that's what I use. Adobe Flash Player seems to play videos OK not really sure if this is the issue or not. My Java plug-ins have been very well and have been updated some time there, so I know it's not that. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Hey again,
After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!
I work with computers all the time at work but not the technical stuff. If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types. We use the desk at work as well. Personally, I like computers laptops for various reasons. And the mention of people many browsers go way over my head.
Please answer this question though and you answer back.

That's nice.  You have a question?

  • How to disable the screen saver when you watch videos in full screen in firefox?

This only happens with Firefox, other browsers videos play normally and without interruption. I want to keep my window screen saver by default but not when watching full-screen mode.

The Flash Player plugin must normally block the system to go to sleep, reduce the brightness of the display or go to the screen saver when you are using full-screen. It is strange that you have this problem with Flash.

There are workaround solutions such as the use of an add-on or an external program that simulates the movement of your mouse, but those who really shouldn't be necessary.

    VLC, I don't know.

Furthermore, you closed and restarted Windows because this problem first occurred? Just in case where some component shared Windows crashed.

  • Satellite Pro M70 overheating when playing games or watching DVDs

    Hello world

my laptop (Satellite Pro M70) overheating regularly, especially when playing games or watching DVDs.
Initially the cooling gets really hard, then the laptop would become hot, and shortly after that it stops completely. I ran it about 50% cpu power (DVD mode) for some time, which helps a little, but makes it much slower games.

I do not know whence this problem, you have any ideas what I could do?

Don't know if it's important, my graphics chip is the ATI Mobility Radeon X 700.

    Thanks in advance

    > My laptop (Satellite Pro M70) is overheating regularly himself, especially when playing games or watching DVDs.
Still is it playing games and watching DVD movies to emphasize material for portable computers.
Devices such as the CPU and GPU run with maximum efficiency and produce a lot of heat.
This could lead to problems of overheating, especially if the cooling modules n t work properly.

    > I do not know whence this problem; you have any ideas what I could do?
I think that the cooling modules don't cool the laptop properly because fans could not run with maximum efficiency because of the dust and debris.

The same thing happened to me. I just cleaned the vents using a jet of compressed air. This jet of compressed air can be ordered from different computer resellers and it s a professional tool to perform this cleanup.

I think you should test this.

    Good luck

  • Satellite M30: random characters came on the screen even when installing

    Hello

I have problems with my Satellite M30. It shows random characters or signs on the image. Other than this computer works well. I thought it could be virus, because I can see the Toshiba and the fine Centrino Logo, it starts happening during Windows loading.

So I reinstalled it but random characters came on the screen even when installing. If anyone can advise what this could be?

My thoughts are either bad graphics card or a Ribbon of a cable LCD screen mobo.

    >... I can see the Toshiba and the fine Centrino Logo, it starts happening during Windows loading.
    > Then I reinstalled it but random characters came on the screen even when installing. Can someone advise what this could be? My thoughts are either bad graphics card or a Ribbon of a cable LCD screen mobo.

For me it also looks like a GPU malfunction... what you is to connect the external monitor to the laptop. If the same strange signs, characters will be visible on the second screen while the GPU is defective...

Well, it would be the worst case, because the whole motherboard must be replaced in case of malfunction of a GPU chip...
