    Hello

You can download the sidebar of Google using your favorite search engine.  It is a product of Google, so you should be able to find it on Google products.

  • Desktop icons and windows taskbar does not load

My friend has problems with his computer.  Yesterday, his computer was when the power has jumped.  When the power came back and she has restarted his computer, his office without icons or the windows task bar.  She can see his wallpaper and that's it.  Pressing ctrl + Alt + Del is not a task manager.  We can start in safe mode.

Try to run scandisk on your C: drive. Also the command following command line:

    sfc/scannow

It will restore system files by default if a file is missing or damaged.

  • Everything is too great. How do I get icons and windows taskbar to display normally?

We do not know what happened. Everything is like twice as big, when we started today. Icons on the desktop are two times bigger. When we open an app like Explorer the page is zoomed. I know that its something simple, do not know us how to fix. Help, please.

    Hello

Try a system restore before what happened:

How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html
    -----------------------------------------------

    If necessary:

Right click on desktop - customize - display settings - Set resolution.

Right click on desktop - customize - display settings - top left adjust font size (DPI)

CTRL + mouse wheel works ZOOM

CTRL + and CTRL - work ZOOM in and out

Your mouse/touchpad probably incorporates a ZOOM to it.

Your system also has a magnifier built in which could be a problem - it can be as often
programmed to work on the mouse/keyboards.

How to turn on the Magnifier On or Off in Vista
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/125037-Magnifier-turn-off.html

To see if your mouse/touchpad is set to ZOOM or enlarge use Control Panel - mouse.

The TouchPad has probably also shortened controls so check with the help of machine system
online documentation and their forums, where appropriate.

    I hope this helps.

Try to use the salvation of three fingers (C-A-D, Ctrl + Alt + Delete) to bring up the task
Manager - then click on file > new task (run...)
    type
    SOLUTION EXPLORER. EXE
and see what happens - so try a system restore to a working system.

  • At the start of office shows icons and then goes to a blank white screen. I have Vista Home edition

When I turn on my Dell Inspiron with Vista Home preinstalled desktop PC; the system starts with the desktop icons and then goes to a white screen, absolutely nothing to click on display. I hit control, alt delete, then to display the Task Manager. I click on the Task Manager and the display shows nothing is running. now the taskbar displays the shortcut at the bottom of the screen icons. I then click on the desktop at the bottom of the screen icon and mode full-screen displays a complete picture, including the background with the regular complete icons. Why this happens, and how not to eliminate the white screen after starting? The Task Manager does not fix this.

Native: Problem solved! My computer flashed a Message automatically asking me to update 'Safemode Dell Now. So I said yes, and the update took about 2 Minutes. Everything seems to be OK. I appreciate enormously the support you offered, and say... THANK YOU for your help. Kind regards... Frank 2468

  • Volume icon disappeared from my system tray, and the option is grayed out (don't let me check it out) in the taskbar and start menu properties screen /Notification

I don't know how to recover my volume icon - can anyone help?  Thank you!

    Hello

If one of the system icons is out, you can reactivate the as follows:

Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. This will bring up the tab "properties of menu taskbar and start. It's where you mentioned, it is gray. It is very well...  From there, you can click on Customize button in the icon section. Look for the icon that you are missing, and check the status. The type of report should read "Hide icon and notifications", change that to "Show icon and notifications".

If this does not resolve the issue most likely you have a problem with group policy on your machine. This can be corrected by following the instructions on the following link:

  • icons missing from the notification area on the taskbar (the path below the screen) - the volume icon disappeared and arrow to show/hide icons disappeared

The icons in the notification area of the bar (on the side of the lower right of the desktop) tasks are not all there.  The speaker/volume icon is over now and the arrow next to the notification (to show and hide icons) area has also disappeared.  I have not changed anything on the computer.  I tried to restart but it did not help.  No idea why this would suddenly disappear and how to get it back?

Have you tried right clicking on an empty area of the taskbar, properties tab and taskbar by selecting it and then pressing the button customize section Notification area?
