  Thanks a lot for your answer. The function is not the problem; It works very well. However, your example of code helped me understand what the problem was.

  For some reason, feeding in just a number (i.e. without "px" at the end) in the css statement, move the slider to the right position, at the right time and calls the function at the end. However, it has messed up the type acceleration. Appending the string "px" to the fixed variable.

  Thus, the correct and functional code is now:

  sending e-mail code cannot reside in the DB or a part of the core application code.

  As far as I KNOW, the best place to start the detective is associated when the email is sent and correlating what code is / was running at this time.
